Nutritionists Perpetuate Hoaxes As Well!
Remember when we were told--by the powers that be--to limit our intake of salt, coffee, quit tobacco in all forms, remember? I was listening as I usually do, to Rush Limbaugh yesterday. He talked of an article that seemed to disavow the salt restriction we've heard about for eons:
http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2012/06/04/salt_doesn_t_kill_you_after_all
....which led me to the article Rush referenced:
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/03/opinion/sunday/we-only-think-we-know-the-truth-about-salt.html?_r=1&pagewanted=all
This led me to some hidden, possible health benefits of a deadly, natural poison-nicotine:
http://www.acpinternist.org/archives/1997/02/nicotine.htm
http://www.naturalnews.com/033344_nicotine_Parkinsons_disease.html
....and then onto the positive health effects of the same caffeine we were told to limit in our diet:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/06/24/coffee-could-ward-alzheimers_n_882931.html
http://www.j-alz.com/press/2011/20110621.html
Which ultimately led me to some natural sources to forestall the onset of Parkinson's Disease as well as possible causes:
http://www.naturalnews.com/Parkinsons.html
As far as I know, we don't have any history of Alzheimer's Disease in the family. But as a voracious reader, my mother suffered greatly from the effects of Parkinson's Disease. Even with large-print books and magazines, the constant, ever increasing tremors in her upper body finally made reading an impossibility. Toward the end of her life, Mom even had to give up watching tv, although she enjoyed LISTENING while our kids watched their favorite shows. The aforementioned URLs have been a wealth of information for me, both as general knowledge and understanding the effects as they related to my family.

President (43), Mrs Bush's Portraits Unveiled
Late last week, President George W. Bush's official White House portait was unveiled amid his familiar humor:
"Thank you so much for inviting all my rowdy friends to my hanging."
"(To the invited guests:) Behave yourselves!"
"It (the White House official portrait collection) now starts and ends with a 'George W.'"
"(To Clown Prince owe-bama:) As you wander the halls, wrestling with tough decisions, you could always gaze at this portrait and ask, 'What would George do?'"
Until Ann Romney assumes the position as the nation's "First Lady," Laura Welch Bush will remain my first choice of 'Nicest, most regal first lady, EVER!'
Mrs Bush's portrait was unveiled during the same ceremony. Just 'tween you-and-me, this portrait certainly doesn't look much like Mrs Bush's photos:
Mrs Bush thanked the White House staff that made her family's stay in 'the nation's house' a pleasant one.
Not long after the Bush 'Hanging,' "Clown Prince" owe-bama and "Michelle Antoinette" owe-bama submitted their photos as references in painting portraits for their upcoming hanging.... NO!! I mean in the barackingham Palace 'owe-bama wing' of the portrait gallery:Until Nex'Time....

America’s Highways from Hell 2012, From Los Angeles to New York City
Staff Report,
thedailybeast.com
May 29, 2012
With summer just around the corner, plenty of roadtrips are being planned to get out of America’s cities. But some urban areas make escaping not so easy. The Daily Beast crunches the numbers for the third year in a row to find America’s Highways from Hell, from Dallas to Orlando.
What’s an extra 10 minutes in the car? Not much. But when you add up the daily commute in some of America’s worst traffic jams, a whole work week is lost to rush hour. As Americans get ready to hit the road this summer to get out of town, they’ll add even more sets of wheels to the road in pursuit of a slower-paced vacation. With that in mind, The Daily Beast wanted to find, for the third year in a row, the worst commutes in America: our Highways from Hell. To find this year’s Highways [....]

A Serial Bomber in Phoenix
by Scott Stewart,
STRATfor.com
May 31, 2012
A small improvised explosive device (IED) detonated at a Salvation Army distribution center in Phoenix, Ariz., on the afternoon of May 24. Two Salvation Army employees discovered the explosive device, which was concealed inside a yellow, hand-held 6-volt flashlight, as they were sorting through a box of donated items. The IED exploded when one of the employees picked up the flashlight and attempted to turn it on. The blast was not very powerful, and the two employees suffered only minor injuries.
This was the third incident in the Greater Phoenix area in recent weeks involving an IED concealed in a flashlight. Two explosive devices very similar to the May 24 IED exploded May 13 and May 14 in Glendale, Ariz., a city in the Greater Phoenix metropolitan area. Both devices were abandoned in public places. In the May 13 incident, a woman discovered a yellow, hand-held 6-volt flashlight next to a tree outside a Glendale business. When the woman picked up the flashlight and attempted to turn it on, it exploded, causing minor scratches and bruises to her face and hands. It also inflicted minor wounds to a woman beside her. The next day, a man found an identical flashlight in a ditch where he was working in another part of Glendale. He was lightly injured when the flashlight exploded as he attempted to turn it on. So far, the explosives [....]

Charlie Rangel’s Career Might Be in Peril
by Joshua Miller,
Roll Call Staff
May 24, 2012
There is a growing sense among New York political insiders that next month’s primary could mark the end of 81-year-old Rep. Charlie Rangel’s storied Congressional career. Rangel, the third-most-senior House Member, has been weakened by health, the weight of an ethics rebuke and redistricting. Moreover, he is battling a message, being delivered on multiple fronts, that it’s time for a change and new leadership. One key metric for the veteran Harlem Democrat and his opponent, state Sen. Adriano Espaillat, in the lead-up to the June 26 primary is the push for public support — from party officials and local borough bosses. [....]

DNC Chair Says Obama's Private Equity Doublespeak Is 'Apples and Coconuts'
by daniel Halper,

May 25, 2012
This morning on CNN, Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz was asked, "Why is it not hypocrisy for the president to take campaign donations from private equity when he's attacking private equity making that an essential part of his campaign?"
The chairwoman responded, "It's not comparing apples and oranges, it's comparing apples and coconuts."
When asked what she meant by "coconuts," Wasserman Schultz went to say, "Accepting a contribution from a particular person involved in venture capital and criticizing Mitt Romney, who has made his record as a venture capitalist at Bain the essential focus of his credibility and qualification for being president, are completely different things." Race Matters...To Racists
by Derek Hunter,
townhall.com
June 3, 2012
In February 2009, Attorney General Eric Holder said America is a “nation of cowards” on race because we don’t talk about. So let’s talk about it.
Voter ID
Progressives are up in arms over the prospect of voters being required to show something at the polls they must show regularly to function as a productive member of society – a photo ID. It’s because progressives, particularly progressive Democrats, have a vested interest in preventing as many people as possible, especially minorities, from becoming productive members of society.
Productive members of society – and those who aspire to be – don’t need or want government to do for them what they can do for themselves. The socialists, communists, fascists and anarchists – in other words, progressives – obviously don’t have the support to win elections. They must find many votes beyond their core supporters to survive. So they attempt to manipulate minorities. They play the race card. They attempt to convince them Republicans, particularly conservatives, are racists. Never mind only a few generations ago, it was Democrats who were lynching black people in the South, turning water cannons on them, toying with the idea of using eugenics to eliminate them and, always, trying to prevent them from voting. Since the party of slavery couldn’t own the bodies of black people anymore, it turned to trying to own their minds.
And votes. In the last 50 years, progressives have become quite interested in minority votes as the popularity of their message has waned. They pushed for [....]

Gun Review: The Smith & Wesson M&P Shield

May 15, 2012
Unveiled at the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in St. Louis, Mo., Smith & Wesson’s newest product, the M&P Shield, is sure to turn heads. The topic of internet buzz and industry speculation, Smith & Wesson’s cryptic “Shield Yourself” ad had people wondering just what the folks at the Springfield, Mass., plant were up to. In preparation for the launch, a troop of writers, myself included, were invited up to draw back the curtain and pull the trigger on this exciting new pistol.
Designed for concealed carry, the M&P Shield enters the vaunted handgun line as the smallest and lightest offering to date. Only 6.1-inches long, 4.6-inches tall and 19 ounces in weight (unloaded) the Shield is super compact, but more striking than these dimensions is its sub-1-inch width. This gun is slim. The frame is 0.95 inches at its thickest, and the pistol’s [....]

Supreme Court to Weigh Challenge to Campaign Finance Ruling on June 14
by Eliza Newlin Carney
Roll Call Staff
May 30, 2012
The Supreme Court will decide in a private conference on June 14 whether to take up a constitutional challenge to a Montana law that restricts corporate political spending. The Montana case, known as American Tradition Partnership v. Bullock, has been closely watched as a bellwether of the high court’s willingness to revisit its landmark 2010 ruling in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, which deregulated corporate and union political spending. At issue is whether the Montana law banning corporate spending in elections is unconstitutional. The state argues that Montana faces a special risk of corruption and should be permitted to enforce its longtime ban, notwithstanding the 2010 Citizens United ruling. In December, the state Supreme Court [....]

Inch’Allah? The Islamization of Europe
by Filip Dewinter; Uitgeverij Egmont, 2012
Like the United States, Europe is being invaded. In our case, by Mexicans; in theirs, by Muslims. In America, there is not one politician who dares say that Mexicans and other Hispanics threaten our way of life, and must stop coming. In Europe, a few stand openly and proudly for their own people, and Filip Dewinter of the Flemish independence party known as the Vlaams Belang is one of them.
Elected twice to the European Parliament, and now a member of the Belgian Senate and Flemish Parliament, Mr. Dewinter is at the very center of the fight to save Europe. Since 2008, he has headed an organization called “Cities Against Islamization,” a coalition of urban associations fighting to maintain European values against the Muslim onslaught. Inch’Allah? is Mr. Dewinter’s manifesto for the preservation of the West. It is one of the most comprehensive books ever written about Islam’s designs on Europe, how it carries out those designs, and why it must be stopped.
Mr. Dewinter begins with history, pointing out that Islam was intent on world domination from the beginning. Mohammed preached his new religion for only 21 years before his death in 632, but had by then conquered the entire Arabian Peninsula. His followers quickly overran Syria, Egypt, Persia, Iraq, and Armenia, and by 710—just 78 years after the prophet’s death—dominated all of North Africa. Islam crossed into Spain the next year, and in just 10 years occupied nearly all of the Iberian Peninsula. Islam then swept over the Pyrenees, marched north, and was stopped only at Tours, not far from Paris, in 732. Rapid, continent-wide conquests—such as those by [....]

Class Warfare's Losing Record
by Salena Zito,
townhall.com
June 3, 2012
EAST PALESTINE, Ohio – Newspaper accounts of the day described with shock the “enormous crushing crowds” that gathered in cities and towns (including this one) to see William Jennings Bryan, the Democrats’ presidential candidate of 1896, as he made his way to Pittsburgh. The old master of class warfare did not disappoint: Paper after paper chronicled his rhetoric and the “unheard of” adulation he received from what he termed “the masses.” The nation had been in a deep depression, with high unemployment and violent labor strikes, in the three years leading to the presidential election between Bryan and Republican William McKinley, Ohio’s former governor. Despite the social unrest, economic uncertainty and a 90 percent voter turnout in many areas, Bryan and his class-based message failed.
Fast forward to today: President Barack Obama has decided that class warfare will be his winning message for re-election – and Bain Capital will be his code word for that message, implicitly conveying all the meanings of his greater theme. Bain is the venture-capital firm that Republican Mitt Romney helped to create; it has invested in or acquired hundreds of companies, including Staples, Burger King, Dunkin' Donuts, The Sports Authority, Toys "R" Us and The Weather Channel. In some cases, it loaned seed money to promising entrepreneurs. It also engaged in leveraged buyouts and attempts to turn around struggling companies with new management, re-organizations and cash infusions. Jobs usually are saved or created by firms such as Bain. However, the leveraged-buyout process often is messy, and people sometimes lose jobs in pursuit of greater profitability. Traveling much the same path as Bryan here in Ohio and in neighboring Pennsylvania, Vice President Joe Biden has escalated Obama’s class warfare with fevered cries – “They don't get us! They don't get who we are!” The attacks [....]

Dividends? Forget DRIP And Go PRIP
by George Acs,

May 31, 2012
For all I know, the proponents of the Dividend Re-investment Plan (DRIP) concept, who used to sell a simple booklet of all of the publicly traded companies offering such an investor option, are still raking in the big bucks from giving you that readily available information at a price. If memory serves me right, the sales pitch was actually the basis for one of the early generation infomercials, but there was none of the yelling that became popular as the genre evolved. When I first started investing I thought that was a great idea. Just have the company plow those dividends into say 0.29156 shares every four months, without incurring any fees. I thought it was great until I got to the point that I wanted to close out positions that held such fractional shares. Certainly, the pure math of re-investing dividends has to be favorable, if you are a believer in the upward march of stock prices, more specifically the price of the shares that underlie the dividend paid in share form. You may also need to have a very, very long perspective or at least be investing for the benefit of your yet unborn great-great-grandchildren. Maybe my portfolio wasn't large enough, or maybe [....]

DNC Chair Says Obama's Private Equity Doublespeak Is 'Apples and Coconuts'
by daniel Halper,
weeklystandard.com
May 25, 2012
This morning on CNN, Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz was asked, "Why is it not hypocrisy for the president to take campaign donations from private equity when he's attacking private equity making that an essential part of his campaign?"
The chairwoman responded, "It's not comparing apples and oranges, it's comparing apples and coconuts."
When asked what she meant by "coconuts," Wasserman Schultz went to say, "Accepting a contribution from a particular person involved in venture capital and criticizing Mitt Romney, who has made his record as a venture capitalist at Bain the essential focus of his credibility and qualification for being president, are completely different things." Yet a little later in the interview she was stumped {Surprised?!?} [....]

It’s official: Al-Qaida hates puppies
by Michael Bastasch,
The Daily Caller News Foundation
May 24, 2012
After hiding bombs in underwear, printer cartridges and even people, al-Qaida master bomb maker Ibrahim al-Asiri has found a new Trojan horse: bombs inside pets.
U.S. officials say that al-Asiri’s latest schemes involve bombs surgically implanted in terrorists and bombs hidden in pets that are carried onto aircraft, ABC News reports. Al-Asiri’s designs also include bombs in cameras and external hard drives that [....]

Race Matters...To Racists
by Derek Hunter,
townhall.com

Gun Review: The Smith & Wesson M&P Shield
by Joseph L. Kurterbach,
American Rifleman

Dividends? Forget DRIP And Go PRIP
by George Acs,
seekingalpha.com

"Clown Prince" Weekly Blather; June 2nd
This was to be the last one inwhich I would correct the Verdammte Arschloch's thinking. but I elected not to do even that, it's far too depressing to never see a 'light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel!'
The Verdammte Arschloch that is "Clown Prince" owe-bama will never change so long as he's indebted--for his very political success; his agenda--to the Bilderbergers and George Soros; I will never get over hating the political fascist he is.
It was fun while it lasted, but the Verdammte Arschloch that is "Clown Prince" owe-bama is incurable, incorrigible marxist and will never stray from the Saul Alinsky principles that are the basis of his daily thought!!
