"Clown Prince" Weekly Blather; February 9th

A Patriotic Response to the "Clown Prince;" 02/09/2013
barackingham Palace,
District of Corruption
February 9, 2013
Over the last few years, Democrats and Republicans have come together and cut our deficit by more than $2.5 trillion through a balanced mix of spending cuts and higher tax rates for the wealthiest Americans. That’s more than halfway towards the $4 trillion in deficit reduction that economists and elected officials from both parties say we need to stabilize our debt.  I believe we can finish the job the same way we’ve started it – with a balanced mix of more spending cuts and more tax reform. And the overwhelming majority of the American people agree – both Democrats and Republicans.  Now, my preference – and the preference of many Members of Congress – is to do that in a balanced, comprehensive way, by making sensible changes to entitlement programs and reforming our tax code. As we speak, both the House and Senate are working towards budget proposals that I hope will lay out this kind of balanced path going forward. But the budget process takes time. And right now, if Congress doesn’t act by March 1, a series of harmful, automatic cuts to job-creating investments and defense spending – also known as the sequester – are scheduled to take effect. And the result could be a huge blow to middle-class families and our economy as a whole.  If the sequester is allowed to go forward, thousands of Americans who work in fields like national security, education or clean energy are likely to be laid off. Firefighters and food inspectors could also find themselves out of work – leaving our communities vulnerable. Programs like Head Start would be cut, and lifesaving research into diseases like cancer and Alzheimer’s could be scaled back. Small businesses could be prevented from getting the resources and support they need to keep their doors open. People with disabilities who are waiting for their benefits could be forced to wait even longer. All our economic progress could be put at risk.  And then there’s the impact on our military readiness. Already, the threat of deep cuts has forced the Navy to delay an aircraft carrier that was supposed to deploy to the Persian Gulf. As our military leaders have made clear, changes like this affect our ability to respond to threats in an unstable part of the world. And we will be forced to make even more tough decisions in the weeks ahead if Congress fails to act.
[What I'm not telling you:  Another edition of weekly craziness from {my} barackingham Palace!  "It jis don'git no better'n'iss
(for the educated voter: 'It just doesn't get any better than this')!!"  More created-chaos from The Bilderberg Group through my regime so let's get 'all up in it,' as my people say in da'hood.
The generally accepted cause of all the bullshit is three-fold as explained to me by the 'Bilderbergers.'
First:  On the last two occasions, the RepublicRATics' candidates were hierarchially selected for no other reason than "they've been patient soldiers and it's now their turn"
Second: The negro-guy somehow got elected!  In 2008 I was the throw-away candidate, put in the election for no other reason that to 'get some experience' and I won, certainly not because I was the better candidate; the most experienced candidate; the most ept candidate. You see where I'm goin' with this:  I truly was then/am now, "The Clown Prince!!"
Third:  In 2012, we concentrated on two ways to effect 'the low-information voter:'  Stephanie Cutter's insistant and consistant lies about the Republicratic candidate; and playing the part of Santy-Claws in the eyes of 'the low information voter; everything and anything they wanted, FOR FREE--FOR LIFE (they think)!!
{At this point I'd like to thank Mr Rush Limbaugh for both the title and definition of the: Low Information Voter- A voter--most usually on welfare as well as many federal and state FREE programs as is possible--who has no idea of what's going on in his/her city, county, school district, voting district, state, region or country; nor does he/she CARE.  He/she will consider voting for individuals in any of the aforementioned levels ONLY if "free-stuff" is involved; then playing one-candidate-against-the-other indetermining who's giving out the most "free-stuff," like the obama-Fo (actually started by President George W. Bush).  The Bilderberg researchers found that Mr Limbaugh first used said description for this type of voter on October 14, 2011; then the title was "the Value of Low Information Outreach."}
To get a real understanding of what's involved in sequestration as opposed to the multitude of lies written into my teleprompter at the insistance of both Stephanie Cutter and the hierarchy of The Bilderberg Group, check this article from The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities!  Oh, and that " ....threat of deep cuts has forced the Navy to delay...."
is nothing more than political hyperbole!   Rather than whine about that, I'd only have to prioritize the Defense Department budget line items to protect  national security, military readiness, millitary-branch deployments, all Defense Department pay-and-benefits, etc., but N-O-O-O!!  I need a "whipping-boy" topic to keep the bullshit rollin' so I just travel from campain-stop to campaign-stop for that very purpose!!
Truth-be-told, Congressional inaction would be the best thing for the country; it'll be the only way they'll force me and my congressional socio-facists into action!!  The last thing we'll agree to is spending cuts.  I--personally--think The Bilderberg Group will again be successful in "making the Speaker cry," and forcing Speaker Boehner cave-in once again, giving me most of what I demanded while settling for little of what he wanted!!]
The good news is, there’s another option. Two months ago, we faced a similar deadline, and instead of making deep, indiscriminate cuts that would have cost us jobs and slowed down our recovery, Democrats and Republicans came together and made responsible cuts and manageable changes to our tax code that will bring down our deficit. This time, Congress should pass a similar set of balanced cuts and close more tax loopholes until they can find a way to replace the sequester with a smarter, longer-term solution.  Right now, most Members of Congress – including many Republicans – don’t think it’s a good idea to put thousands of jobs at risk and do unnecessary damage to our economy. And yet the current Republican plan puts the burden of avoiding those cuts mainly on seniors and middle-class families. They would rather ask more from the vast majority of Americans and put our recovery at risk than close even a single tax loophole that benefits the wealthy.
Over the last few years, we’ve made good progress towards reducing our deficit in a balanced way. There’s no reason we can’t keep chipping away at this problem. And there’s certainly no reason that middle-class families and small businesses should suffer just because Washington couldn’t come together and eliminate a few special interest tax loopholes, or government programs that just don’t work. At a time when economists and business leaders from across the spectrum have said that our economy is poised for progress, we shouldn’t allow self-inflicted wounds to put that progress in jeopardy.  So my message to Congress is this: let’s keep working together to solve this problem. And let’s give our workers and our businesses the support they need to grow and thrive.
[What I'm not telling you:   The last time we were up against this kind of bullshit, the Bilderbergers were successful in making Speaker Boehner back down and give away most of the barn.... although with few--if any--tears!  We even forced the Speaker to "tax-the-middle-class-through-the-wealthy!!"   Some of those 'low-information' voters--as Rush calls them--I talk to even understand that we--the communists; the socio-fascists--can not continue to attack the taxpayer forever!!  Eventually, the country will run out of those taxpaying slaves to push the wagon, while the low-info group enjoys the benefits of middle-class life without 'lifting-a-finger' for it!!
I often blather about the deficit; about the debt ceiling, as if it's from another country, by another dictator!!  Not so!!  It's this country; I AM said dictator!!  Remember--my subjects--I'm the ruler; the dictator that brought you ONE-TRILLION-PLUS-DOLLAR annual deficits each year of my regime!!  And, for what?  Very little--if anything--positive!!  We've I've increased Welfare-Rat participation by 50%; we-ve I've lined the pockets of the union hierarchly to unheard of levels; we've I've repaid my supporters and donors several-fold; we've I've continued the myth of the current viability of green energy sources; we've I've continued the myth of 'global-warming,' we've I've continued the myth that 'guns kill,' and on and on!  Little else has been accomplished other than "selling out" to those countries buying our massive debt!!  In the not-too-distant future, they--owners of our debt--will be making our domestic and foreign policies, obviously to their advantage!  Then where will the welfareRATs be; where will the 'wagon-riders' be?!?]

This'n'That; February Eighth #1; Where Were They?

obama And "Rob'em" Clinton Were Hiding!
Most of us on the conservative; on the constitutionalist side were asking on the where'bouts of "Clown Prince" obama and Hillary Rob'em Clinton during the State Department inspired "Benghazi Murders" as well as the hours, days and weeks after.  Well, the dude--or dudette--who authors the Reaganite Republican is saying that 'Rookie-Senator' Ted Cruz (R-Tx) got it out'ta Leon Panetta during recent Senate hearings.  Mr/Miz "Reaganite" does a far-better job than I, so you can read about the "Senate-Crucification" here!

This'n'That; February Seventh #1; Investing

Marketwatch Thinks It's "Solar's" Time!
One of Marketwatch's authors, Sara Sjolin, published a 'solar' article early this morning:
Here comes the sun: 7 solar stocks set to shine
The future looks sunnier for solar power firms. That’s the bright and shiny message from Citigroup, anyway. This week, the brokerage firm started coverage of seven U.S. solar companies, four of them at a “buy.”
The solar sector has seen an impressive expansion in recent years, with a compounded annual growth rate in installations of 59% from 2007 to 2012. As oil and gas prices rise alongside political calls for clean energy, analysts at Citigroup predict sun-generated energy will be in high demand. [....]
(Page 2:)  First Solar, Inc. [Ticker: FSLR]
Rating:  Initiated with 'Buy'
Target Price: $41.00
Current Price: $31.13
The pluses: First Solar is considered the bellwether in the downstream market, and with the downstream names poised for stronger growth than upstream counterparts, this is a company to watch. [....]
(Page 3:)  Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. [Ticker: AEIS]
Rating: Initiated with 'Buy'
Target Price: $20.00
Current Price: $16.61
The plusses: Following recent restructuring efforts, the Fort Collins, Col.-based company has become “a healthy cash generator” and is well positioned to benefit from both commercial and utility scale projects in North America. “Shares of AEIS are a core holding for investors looking to gain exposure into the downstream solar market while avoiding some of the pitfalls that have impacted the upstream segment—i.e. the commoditization of the module business,” they said. [....]
(Page 4:)  SunPower Corp. [Ticker: SPWR]
Rating: Initiated with 'buy' and added to the "U.S. high conviction buy list."
Target Price: $12.00
Current Price: $8.37
The plusses: Citigroup characterizes SunPower as the perfect solar package, highlighting the company’s exposure to growth in Japan through its partnership with Toshiba Corp. and Sharp Corp. . Additionally, it is 66% owned by French oil giant Total SA, creating an effective backstop. [....]
(Page 5:) MEMC Electronics Materials Inc. [Ticker: WFR]
Rating: Initiated at 'Buy'
Target Price: $5.40
Current Price: $4.43
The plusses: The St. Peters, Missouri-based company recently sold two European projects, reducing presence in the volatile Europe area. Instead, the current pipeline for SunEdison — MEMC’s project-development solar business — focuses on early high growth regions like the U.S., Canada and emerging markets. The Citi analysts further pointed to a solid balance sheet and strong cash flows, which should continue to improve. [....]
(Page 6:)  Trina Solar, Ltd. [Ticker: TSL]
Rating: Initiated at 'HOLD'
Target Price: $6.00
Current Price: $5.44
The plusses: The Chinese company is one of the higher quality solar-panel manufacturers in China and “is greatly leveraged to a recovery as the sector works off excess inventory over the next few years,” according to the Citigroup analysts. [....]
(Page 7:)  Renewable Energy Corp. ASA [Ticker: NO:REC]
Rating: Maintained at 'Buy'
Target Price: 2.50kr (Norwegian Kroner) =$0.45USD)
Current Price: 1.05kr (=$0.189USD)
The plusses: The Norwegian-based Renewable Energy Corp. benefits from being the lowest cost producer of polysilicon, a key component in solar panels, due to its cost-effective “fluidized bed reactor” technology. Additionally, its downstream activities in Singapore should show boost the financial results shortly. [....]
(Page 8:)  GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Inc. [Ticker: HK:3800]
Rating: Maintained at 'Buy'
Target Price: 2.68HKD  (Hong Kong Dollars) =$0.35USD)
Current Price: 1.94HKD (=$0.254USD)
The plusses: Citigroup is broadly positive on the Asia players and polysilicon producer GCL is one of the region’s companies benefiting from local demand drivers and the potential to profit from possible import tariffs. [....]
Although I'm one of the last investors you'd expect to 'hop in bed' with solar energy production, storage, etc., I can be a sucker for an "off-the-grid" investment that I can afford; one that has an acceptable sized possible gain.
Are you that kind of investor?!?

This'n'That; February Sixth #2; Fingers!!

Check This Out!!
I found this in the Wordpress "Freshly Pressed" section.  I thought it important enough, exciting enough to re-publish it and JUST SOME of the reference material.  The entry I found is labeled '#3' in the Lie-Barry, and I've included the two previous ones.  I think entries on this particular topic (the robotic fingers) go further previous than these three.  Here's Entry #3:
(Oh, and don't forget:  These folks building Liam's robotic fingers are looking for funding to continue!!)

Liam’s birthday Robohand!

Liam is now the owner of a functional, comfortable device that increases what his right hand can accomplish. The evening before his birthday, Liam and his parents (Rory and Yolandi) stopped by Richard’s workshop to pick up the completed hand.
Not only did this device cost $0 for Liam’s family, but the design itself is now public-domain. There is no patent, the details of this design can be used freely by anyone. The specific CAD files used to print the components are available for free-download here.
It was a long day, but Liam was kind enough to demonstrate using his new hand on video:

And here he is just 3 days later, practicing and playing with his new hand:

Liam took his new hand with him to his doctor’s appointment today and also to school! His mother Yolandi says,
“Finish with Hand Clinic yay Dr’s are VERY impressed with Liam’s Robohand. No operations to be done as yet which is awesome. Amazing stuff to happen very soon. Liam has had so far an fantastic day not shy at all to show all his Robohand. His little school he goes to was a huge hit all the teacher’s & kiddies were in awe ;) its been a super duper day. Thank you all for the birthday wishes to Liam much appreciated xxx”
Richard and Ivan are deeply grateful for the support of their families (Beth Rademeyer Van As & Jen Owen, you ladies are both indescribably awesome!), thankful for Rory & Yolandi for taking a chance on two crazy guys with an idea and for all the people who have helped with this project.
A special thank you as well to Makerbot for providing the machines that made it possible to produce light-weight, inexpensive components for Liam’s hand!
With what we have learned by working with Liam, we see this as just the beginning. From here we want to carry this forward, to find other “Liams” out there who could benefit from the designs and techniques we are exploring.
If you believe, as we do, that as many people should freely benefit from this as possible & you would like to help make it happen, please visit our fundraising page. Thank you!!!
Enjoy!!
Donate if you can!!

This'n'That; February Sixth #1; 'Weed!'

Weed's About To Get A Lot More Expensiver
Every aspect of the federal government--in their desire to destroy the United States as the free country we know--has a plan to increase the retail cost of your 'wacky-weed' by at least fifty-percent (50%)!! There's all kinds of 'bipartisanship' involved; both parties are working up various plans of attack.  Those from both houses of Congress to the miscreant occupants of barackingham Palace are colluding to tax 'weed' in the states where it's legal by state law.
With neither major party willing to even consider federal spending reductions, it's more-and-more necessary to continue feeding the "nanny-state" mentality of our rulers.  This becomes nothing more than just another source of revenue; to hell with the health, medical or social affects of ever-growing leniency of various drug control options!
