    Every year around this time, American car companies start rolling out their newest, shiniest models, hoping to entice you into buying one. It’s Detroit’s chance to show you what they’ve been working on – the latest and greatest. And this year is no exception. They’ve got some pretty good-looking cars coming out.  But something is different this time around – and it starts with the auto companies themselves.  Just a few years ago, the auto industry wasn’t just struggling – it was flatlining. GM and Chrysler were on the verge of collapse. Suppliers and distributors were at risk of going under. More than a million jobs across the country were on the line – and not just auto jobs, but the jobs of teachers, small business owners, and everyone in communities that depend on this great American industry.
     But we refused to throw in the towel and do nothing. We refused to let Detroit go bankrupt. We bet on American workers and American ingenuity, and three years later, that bet is paying off in a big way.  Today, auto sales are the highest they’ve been in more than four years. GM is back. Ford and Chrysler are growing again. Together, our auto industry has created nearly a quarter of a million new jobs right here in America.  And we’re not just making more cars and trucks – we’re making better ones.
[What I'm not telling you: During this election season--with no positive record to run on--I've taken to grasping at straws albeit, broken straws!  This 'Government' Motors 'recovery' is a complete fabrication, from start to finish.  To begin, the reader needs to know the definition, the ramifications of the type of bankruptcy that General Motors was facing.
    Just the word 'bankruptcy' leaves a bad taste in one's mouth, but the action of bankruptcy is a viable, sometimes warranted business action at certain points in a company's life.  The definition, thus:

"The financial status of a firm that has been legally judged either to have debts that exceed assets or to be unable to pay its bills.  Formal bankruptcy may result in reorganization and continued operation of the firm, or it may require liquidation and distribution of the proceeds.  In either case, most security owners, especially shareholders, are likely to suffer losses."
 

Now that my subjects are knowledgable with that definition, we can proceed with the details of what actually happened in the whole sordid affair.  For many, many years previous, General Motors--as did most auto manufacturers--made it a point to 'roll-over-and-play-dead' to conclude negotiations with the various unions directly involved with the auto industry.  Finally, with union health care benefits; with union retirement and pension benefits; et al, coupled with a plainly inept upper management; coupled with a less-than-workable business plan,  General Motors--and to a lesser extent, Chrysler Corporation--bumped--face-first--into the required-decision wall!!  
    Now, here's what happened:  GM declared bankruptcy and prepared for reorganization while continuing to build cars and trucks.  All could have eventually been resolved--most probably not to the unions' satisfaction--without the regime stepping in and dictating the terms and conditions.  Here, it's important to understand what had happened previous to this corporate collapse:  
the various auto union hierarchies  provided both great financial and boots-on-the-ground support for my 2008 "Campaign of Fluff" as well as quietly, subtly forcing the union memberships to donate and provide boots-on-the-ground as well.  I owed them--BIG TIME--for, without that forced support, I'd have never been in the position to be your exalted ruler; to spread the Saul Alinsky principles of socialism throughout America!!
    When the federal government--read: I, your exalted ruler--stepped in to demand the terms of the reorganization outside the pervue of any bankruptcy court, ALL non-union individuals and entities were screwed-to-the-wall!! 

• Firstly, the several hundred-thousand GM bondholders were paid off at less than three-cents on the dollar, a huge saving for Government Motors; a devastating loss for said bond holders.  At the same time, GM common stock was driven to an all-time low of 18-cents per share.  
• Secondly, all non-union auto workers were put on 'layoff' and their healthcare and retirement benefits agreements nullified. 
• Thirdly, all parts suppliers-creditors were assured payoffs, though not nearly as devastating as the deep level to which I screwed the bondholders. 
• Fourthly, no matter what you've heard, the 'cash' bailout of Government Motors was only $6.7 Billion; we carefully 'hid' the rest of the $50 Billion in pork, used for GM asset purchases. 
• Fifthly, the vast majority of salaried employees of Government Motors as well as spun-off suppliers lost over 70% of their retirement cash benefits as well as all their healthcare benefits. 
• Sixthly, a nearly 20% equity position in the new Government Motors was 'awarded' to the various auto unions in payment for their combined support of my 2008 "Campaign of Fluff." 
• Seventhly, the federal government assumed a 61% (365 million shares) equity position in the new Government Motors.  For the taxpayer to break-even, the stock price will have to rise above $55.00 per share.  At yesterday's (10/12/2012) close, GM was $24.50.  
• Eighthly, on 12/31/2009, the DJIA closed at 10,428.05; on 10/12/2012, the DJIA closed at 13,328.85 for an increase of 27.81%.  The GM IPO on November 18, 2010 was priced at $33 per share, generating a Treasury payback of $11 Billion+, resulting in a reduction the 'taxpayer stake' in Government Motors to 33%, Whoop'tie-Doo!!  During the aforementioned period, the value of Government Motors' common stock DECLINED by 34.6%!! 
• Ninthly, so long as the federal government--read: me, your exalted ruler--holds said 33% stake, I can dictate  on-going terms and conditions.  I've already exercised this power:  Can anyone spell C-H-E-V-Y  V-O-L-T?!? 
• Tenthly, this 'investment' is going has gone the way of all my other marque investments, namely Solyndra!!  At the V-O-L-T's break-even price of $41,000, Goverment Motors can't give 'em away!!  Not even with a 'taxpayer rebate' of $7,500-10,000!! 
• Eleventhly, this "....created nearly a quarter-million new jobs here in America...." statement?  Completely misleading, complete BULLSHIT!  These 'created' jobs are merely replacements for the several hundred-thousand non-union employees 'laid-off' during the regime takeover of Government Motors! 

So, there you have an excellent example of Alinsky-esque socialism in a nut-shell!!]
    After 30 years of inaction, we raised fuel standards so that by the middle of the next decade, cars and light trucks will average almost 55 miles per gallon – nearly double what they get today. That means you’ll only have to fill up every two weeks instead of every week. It’s good for your wallet, it’s good for our economy, and it’s good for the environment.  The technology that makes it happen will also help America stay on the cutting edge for decades to come. Just this week, GM announced they plan to hire 1,500 workers for a new research center in Michigan to help make sure the high-tech cars of tomorrow are designed and built right here in America.  I’ve also signed new bipartisan trade agreements into law, because I want to see more cars on the road in places like South Korea imported from Detroit and Toledo and Chicago.  All of this is something the American people can and should be proud of. It’s a reminder that when the American people put their mind to something, there’s nothing we can’t do.  So next time you see one of those brand new 2013 models on TV or on the lot, think about how far we’ve come together. Think about how – thanks to the hard work and can-do spirit of the American people – more of those cars and trucks are being manufactured by American workers at American companies in communities all across the country. And they’re going to save you more money at the pump. That’s what America is all about. When we get knocked down, we get back up. We come back stronger. And as long as I’m President, that’s what we’ll keep doing.
[What I'm not telling you:  These new CAFE standards will be a benefit if the regime-forced 175% increase in fuel prices at-the-pump continue beyond my upcoming 'retirement!'  To achieve these standards, the American auto companes are being forced to make more-and-more parts out of plastic; out of lighter, weaker materials.   This fuel saving will come at the expense of current passenger safety standards.  
  A portion of the announced Government Motors' plan to hire 1,500 workers for a new research facility in MIchigan, comes at the expense of a closing Government Motors facility in tiny, little Honeoye Falls (honey-OIE), N.Y.  Until their notification, the 220-250 employees at said facility did fuel-cell development and experimentation.  This action by Government Motors will be a huge, albeit temporary, set-back for the village.
    Those referenced bi-partisan trade agreements I signed.... just how effective; just how profitable will they be?  Have you ever seen the roads in most of South Korea?!?  In most places, two donkey-carts can't pass side-by-side; how the hell will ONE AMERICAN CAR navigate said cart-paths?!?
    I did make one correct statement in this entire blather opportunity: 
"When we get knocked down, we get back up."

      [....] Yesterday, I visited Nevada and New Mexico to talk about what we're calling an all-of-the-above energy strategy. It’s a strategy that will keep us on track to further reduce our dependence on foreign oil, put more people back to work, and ultimately help to curb the spike in gas prices that we're seeing year after year after year.  So today, I’ve come to Cushing, an oil town because producing more oil and gas here at home has been, and will continue to be, a critical part of an all-of-the-above energy strategy.   Now, under my administration, America is producing more oil today than at any time in the last eight years.  That's important to know. Over the last three years, I’ve directed my administration to open up millions of acres for gas and oil exploration across 23 different states. We’re opening up more than 75 percent of our potential oil resources offshore. We’ve quadrupled the number of operating rigs to a record high. We’ve added enough new oil and gas pipeline to encircle the Earth and then some.  So we are drilling all over the place -- right now. That’s not the challenge. That's not the problem. In fact, the problem in a place like Cushing is that we’re actually producing so much oil and gas in places like North Dakota and Colorado that we don’t have enough pipeline capacity to transport all of it to where it needs to go -- both to refineries, and then, eventually, all across the country and around the world. There’s a bottleneck right here because we can’t get enough of the oil to our refineries fast enough. And if we could, then we would be able to increase our oil supplies at a time when they're needed as much as possible.
As we approached the airport aboard "The Emperor Express"--you FUND IT as Air Force One--I was a bit apprehensive in coming to Cushing, but--on the other hand--I was glad for my Presidential Protection Detail who are armed to the teeth.  Someday--possibly--someone, somewhere will finally outwardly take exception to my continual, all-encompassing lies on every possible topic and to a possible injurious end, I'm beginning to fear for my physical safety.  I'm glad it wasn't Cushing!! (wudda been applause)
    I'm beginning to realize the regime's "all-of-the-above" approach to energy production must be edited.  At the beginning of this week, I've been forced to add oil into the mix.  That evil OIL is the only 'tried-and-true' energy source on the planet, not just in the United States.  That evil OIL is the only energy source that's EVER shown a profit and continues to do so, by the second, day-after-day!!  I have, and will continue to promote every other FAILED source of energy; wind, solar, hydro-, wave, tidal as well as geothermal over the positives associated with that evil.  The two most prominent--solar and wind--whose ownership and investors I bribe with federal funds, have yet to generate one-dam'-dime in profit!!
    Now, those drilling, oil-rig, gas-and-oil pipeline and oil production figures are highly suspect at best!  As for the "....we're actually producing so much gas and oil...." statement: Complete Lie!!  I'm thinking you'll attribute all this oil-and-gas production to the owe-bama regime when actually most of the drilling sites and the issuance of permits all happened under that evil President George W. Bush!  The rare truth--atleast out of my mouth--is that there is a bottleneck in oil delivery to the Gulf Coast refineries.  The pipeline I'm here to claim as my own, has nothing to do with me or the regime.  It doesn't cross international borders so the regime has no authority to approve or disapprove it!!  As I said, I'm just here to claim it as my own. 
    Now, right now, a company called TransCanada has applied to build a new pipeline to speed more oil from Cushing to state-of-the-art refineries down on the Gulf Coast. And today, I'm directing my administration to cut through the red tape, break through the bureaucratic hurdles, and make this project a priority, to go ahead and get it done.   Now, you wouldn't know all this from listening to the television set.  This whole issue of the Keystone pipeline had generated, obviously, a lot of controversy and a lot of politics. And that’s because the original route from Canada into the United States was planned through an area in Nebraska that supplies some drinking water for nearly 2 million Americans, and irrigation for a good portion of America's croplands. And Nebraskans of all political stripes -- including the Republican governor there -- raised some concerns about the safety and wisdom of that route.  So to be extra careful that the construction of the pipeline in an area like that wouldn’t put the health and the safety of the American people at risk, our experts said that we needed a certain amount of time to review the project. Unfortunately, Congress decided they wanted their own timeline -- not the company, not the experts, but members of Congress who decided this might be a fun political issue, decided to try to intervene and make it impossible for us to make an informed decision.  So what we’ve said to the company is, we’re happy to review future permits. And today, we’re making this new pipeline from Cushing to the Gulf a priority. So the southern leg of it we're making a priority, and we're going to go ahead and get that done. The northern portion of it we're going to have to review properly to make sure that the health and safety of the American people are protected. That’s common sense.  But the fact is that my administration has approved dozens of new oil and gas pipelines over the last three years -– including one from Canada. And as long as I’m President, we’re going to keep on encouraging oil development and infrastructure and we’re going to do it in a way that protects the health and safety of the American people. We don’t have to choose between one or the other, we can do both.  So if you guys are talking to your friends, your neighbors, your coworkers, your aunts or uncles and they’re wondering what’s going on in terms of oil production, you just tell them anybody who suggests that somehow we’re suppressing domestic oil production isn’t paying attention. They are not paying attention.   What you also need to tell them is anybody who says that just drilling more gas and more oil by itself will bring down gas prices tomorrow or the next day or even next year, they’re also not paying attention. They’re not playing it straight. Because we are drilling more, we are producing more. But the fact is, producing more oil at home isn’t enough by itself to bring gas prices down.  And the reason is we’ve got an oil market that is global, that is worldwide. And I’ve been saying for the last few weeks, and I want everybody to understand this, we use 20 percent of the world’s oil; we only produce 2 percent of the world’s oil. Even if we opened every inch of the country -- if I put a oil rig on the South Lawn if we had one right next to the Washington Monument, even if we drilled every little bit of this great country of ours, we’d still have to buy the rest of our needs from someplace else if we keep on using the same amount of energy, the same amount of oil.  The price of oil will still be set by the global market. And that means every time there’s tensions that rise in the Middle East -- which is what’s happening right now -- so will the price of gas. The main reason the gas prices are high right now is because people are worried about what’s happening with Iran. It doesn’t have to do with domestic oil production. It has to do with the oil markets looking and saying, you know what, if something happens there could be trouble and so we’re going to price oil higher just in case.  Now, that’s not the future that we went. We don’t want to be vulnerable to something that’s happening on the other side of the world somehow affecting our economy, or hurting a lot of folks who have to drive to get to work. That’s not the future I want for America. That's not the future I want for our kids. I want us to control our own energy destiny. I want us to determine our own course.
    The 'TransCanada application' AND PERMIT have been in force for some several months; is not germaine to any current conversation.  That bullshit about all the red tape; the bullshit about the bureaucratic hurdles, is just that: more owe-bama BULLSHIT!!  Who added over 100 NEW regulations at the astronomical initial cost of $11 Billion; an annual cost of over $46 Billion, thereafter?!?  ME--your exhalted ruler--that's who!  By comparison, my predecessor--that evil President George W. Bush--added less than 25% of my total; at an annual cost of less than $10 Billion!!  The bureaucratic hurdles:  'bureaucratic' is by definition-GOVERNMENT; government is by definition-ME, your exhalted ruler!!  The aforementioned orders I'll give to my regime are just so much more royal, exhalted BULLSHIT!!  You folks probably see anything to the contrary on the television; the national pamphleteer corpse are 'in-the-tank' for my re-immaculation.  You may have heard lots of references to my ineptness; to my inexperience on conservative talk-radio.  You're also smarter than to believe my BULLSHIT over research and fact-checking by the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Bob Lonsberry, et al.

    If we actually had those two oil derricks on public property in the District of Corruption, there'd be a royalty windfall to the U.S. Treasury!!  Maybe that ain't such a bad idea, after all.  Is the United States a part of the world oil economy?!?  Is the United States a part of the world oil producers?!?  Then it stands to reason that the United States is a member of the world forces that set oil prices.  It's not necessary to discuss those percentages I refer to; they're pure BULLSHIT.  The federal government formulates said percentages so I can use any BULLSHIT I dream up. 
    It's fairly easy for me to promote a one-world economy; a one-world society; a one-world government on the one hand, while quite ludicrius for me to quote  BULLSHIT as a negative-relating to Middle-East crises on the other hand!!  How completely stupid is that?!?  It kinda makes me the 'poster-child' for the "Ya Can't Fix STUPID" campaign, dudn't it?!?
    So, yes, we’re going to keep on drilling. Yes, we’re going to keep on emphasizing production. Yes, we’re going to make sure that we can get oil to where it’s needed. But what we’re also going to be doing as part of an all-of-the-above strategy is looking at how we can continually improve the utilization of renewable energy sources, new clean energy sources, and how do we become more efficient in our use of energy.   That means producing more biofuels, which can be great for our farmers and great for rural economies. It means more fuel-efficient cars. It means more solar power. It means more wind power -- which, by the way, nearly tripled here in Oklahoma over the past three years in part because of some of our policies.  We want every source of American-made energy. I don’t want the energy jobs of tomorrow going to other countries. I want them here in the United States of America.  And that’s what an all-of-the-above strategy is all about. That’s how we break our dependence on foreign oil.   Now, the good news is we’re already seeing progress. Yesterday, I went, in Nevada, to the largest solar plant of its kind anywhere in the country. Hundreds of workers built it. It’s powering thousands of homes, and they’re expanding to tens of thousands of homes more as they put more capacity online.  After 30 years of not doing anything, we finally increased fuel-efficiency standards on cars and trucks, and Americans are now designing and building cars that will go nearly twice as far on the same gallon of gas by the middle of the next decade. And that's going to save the average family $8,000 over the life of a car.  And it’s going to save a lot of companies a lot of money because they’re hurt by rising fuel costs, as well.  All of these steps have helped put America on the path to greater energy independence. Since I took office, our dependence on foreign oil has gone down every single year. Last year, we imported 1 million fewer barrels per day than the year before. Think about that.  America, at a time when we’re growing, is actually importing less oil from overseas because we’re using it smarter and more efficiently. America is now importing less than half the oil we use for the first time in more than a decade.  So the key is to keep it going, Oklahoma. We’ve got to make sure that we don't go backwards, that we keep going forwards. If we’re going to end our dependence on foreign oil, if we’re going to bring gas prices down once and for all, as opposed to just playing politics with it every single year, then what we’re going to have to do is to develop every single source of energy that we’ve got, every new technology that can help us become more efficient.  We’ve got to use our innovation. We’ve got to use our brain power. We've got to use our creativity. We've got to have a vision for the future, not just constantly looking backwards at the past. That's where we need to go. That's the future we can build.  And that's what America has always been about, is building the future. We've always been at the cutting-edge. We're always ahead of the curve. Whether it's Thomas Edison or the Wright Brothers or Steve Jobs, we're always thinking about what's the next thing. And that's how we have to think about energy. And if we do, not only are we going to see jobs and growth and success here in Cushing, Oklahoma, we're going to see it all across the country.
The vast majority of drilling permits in force today were issued by that evil President George W. Bush administration.  The vast majority of drilling sites are on private property; atwhich your exhalted ruler--ME--has little--if any--authority!! 
Oh, by all means: more biofuels!! 
More biofuels means more starvation in every third-world rathole that can't get enough American-grown grain to feed their starving masses.
Oh, by all means: more solar!!
More solar energy equipment manufacturers; more solar energy producers means more pay-offs to their managements and investors which--in large measure--will be donated to my re-immaculation campaign.
    Not only does your exhalted ruler--ME--have a double-standard relative to oil production versus 'clean' energy production; we have a double-standard when it comes to prosecuting wrong-doing as well.  In August 2009, ExxonMobil agreed to $600,000 in fines and fees for killing 86 birds which came in contact with oil.  The American Bird Conservancy estimates that upwards of 250,000 birds are killed annually by windmills.  I can assure you that the "wannabe general" eric holder has no intention of exhibiting even a modicum of judicial integrity!!

    In the State of the Union, I laid out three areas we need to focus on if we’re going to build an economy that lasts: new American manufacturing, new skills and education for American workers, and new sources of American-made energy.  These days, we’re getting another painful reminder why developing new energy is so important to our future. Just like they did last year, gas prices are starting to climb. Only this time, it’s happening earlier. And that hurts everyone – everyone who owns a car; everyone who owns a business. It means you have to stretch your paycheck even further. Some folks have no choice but to drive a long way to work, and high gas prices are like a tax straight out of their paychecks.  Now, some politicians always see this as a political opportunity. And since it’s an election year, they’re already dusting off their three-point plans for $2 gas. I’ll save you the suspense: Step one is drill, step two is drill, and step three is keep drilling. We hear the same thing every year.  Well the American people aren’t stupid. You know that’s not a plan – especially since we’re already drilling. It’s a bumper sticker. It’s not a strategy to solve our energy challenge. It’s a strategy to get politicians through an election.
[What I'm not telling you:   My three points here aren't nearly as important as those three points I demagogue later in this blather opportunity. For the past three-plus years, I've been touting the return of American manufacturing jobs; the plain truth is that the American companies involved can't profit from bringing the aforementioned jobs back on-shore.  The federal--read: owe-bamacRATic; socio-fascist--tax policies coupled with the ineffciencies of a union-controlled labor force make any reasonable profits impossible. 
    The fossil fuels are the tried-and-true energy sources that have sustained the American manufacturing and business 'engines' for the past three centuries!  Every American president since the mid-nineteenth century has had a viable, workable federal energy policy.  Those policies centered primarily on the availability of inexpensive fossil fuels.  Since my immaculation, the federal energy policy has been "higher retail prices will curtail demand!"  Lest we forget my rewards for my supporters, donors, my voter blocks, an important part of the regime's energy policy is to subsidize those 'green-turned-black' energy companies, even though we knew they would file for bankruptcy within weeks of said subsidies.  This allowed investors in companies like SOLYNDRA to reap untold profits prior to the various-and-several companies' collapse at the expense of the American taxpayer!   Remember that ever-famous statement I made during the last "Campaign of Fluff?"
"Under my plan of a 'Cap and Trade' system, electricity prices will necessarily skyrocket."
...or how 'bout this one:
"So, if anyone wants to build a coal [-fired power] plant, they can.... it's just that it will bankrupt them, because they will be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that's being emitted." 
Now, I ask you:  Is this a viable, workable federal energy plan, or is it just more vindictiveness predicated upon the huge 'chip' on my shoulder?!?  'You be the judge!!']
    You know there are no quick fixes to this problem, and you know we can’t just drill our way to lower gas prices. If we’re going to take control of our energy future and avoid these gas price spikes down the line, then we need a sustained, all-of-the-above strategy that develops every available source of American energy – oil, gas, wind, solar, nuclear, biofuels, and more. We need to keep developing the technology that allows us to use less oil in our cars and trucks; in our buildings and plants. That’s the strategy we’re pursuing, and that’s the only real solution to this challenge.  Now, we absolutely need safe, responsible oil production here in America. That’s why under my Administration, America is producing more oil today than at any time in the last eight years. In 2010, our dependence on foreign oil was under 50% for the first time in more than a decade. And while there are no short-term silver bullets when it comes to gas prices, I’ve directed my administration to look for every single area where we can make an impact and help consumers in the months ahead, from permitting to delivery bottlenecks to what’s going on in the oil markets.  But over the long term, an all-of-the-above energy strategy means we have to do more. It means we have to make some choices.  Here’s one example. Right now, four billion of your tax dollars subsidize the oil industry every year. Four billion dollars.  Imagine that. Maybe some of you are listening to this in your car right now, pulling into a gas station to fill up. As you watch those numbers rise, know that oil company profits have never been higher. Yet somehow, Congress is still giving those same companies another four billion dollars of your money. That’s outrageous. It’s inexcusable. And it has to stop.
[What I'm not telling you:  Now on to the 'drilling' argument:  Had George Soros and I not thought placating the environmentalists was 'the way to go,' we--and by 'we' I mean Soros--could have developed an energy exploration, development and production plan which very well may have taken the United States out from under the 'OPEC thumb.' We--and by 'we' I mean Soros--didn't; we--and by 'we' I mean the American consumer--now have to suffer with energy prices that seem to rise by-the-minute!
    All the aforementioned 'alternative energy sources' have shown to be unsustainable without massive federal subsidies.  Much like me purchasing General Motors with taxpayer money, the subsidies to 'green-turned-black' energy companies do little more than prop up poor managements, unworkable business models.  Let's go back to the mid-19th century I spoke of earlier:  Did Henry Ford get massive federal subsidies to develop his Model T, the most successful automobile in history?!?  Did George Eastman get massive federal subsidies to develop materials that evolved into the Eastman-Kodak Company?!?  Did that 'Wizard of Menlo Park,' Thomas Edison get massive federal subsidies to 'light-the-world?!?'  ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!  Each of these businesses had to 'stand-or-fall' on their individual viability. 
     That "...under my administration...." ditty?  That's is--and was designed to be--quite misleading!!  The real truth--which you'll never see admitted to anywhere else--is that most of the drilling permits in force today, are the product of that evil George W. Bush!!  My regime has approved precious few new drilling permits; part of a continuing effort to force the American economy to accept alternative energy sources.  The regime's 'all-of-the-above' energy strategy is quite similar to "throwing gobs-of-shit at the barn wall, hoping at least some will stick!!" 
    All the new drilling permits; the removal of delivery 'bottlenecks;' trying to second-guess foreign energy markets, doesn't mean 'squat' in the whole scheme-of-things.  The EPA-in it's infinite wisdom--has regulated new refining facilities practically out-of-existence.  The energy companies are forced to spend untold billions-of-dollars just to prepare for the EPA and Department of Energy permitting processes!  Most older refineries on the Gulf Coast are only equipped to refine 'Brent Sweet' crude oil while refineries in the mid-west are capable of processing 'West Texas Intermediate' crude.  Very few refineries have been upgraded to process "later-generation" variations of crude oil.  No matter who says what: the onus is on the owe-bama Regime for this kerfuffle!!]
    A century of subsidies to the oil companies is long enough. It’s time to end taxpayer giveaways to an industry that’s never been more profitable, and use that money to reduce our deficit and double-down on a clean energy industry that’s never been more promising. Because of the investments we’ve already made, the use of wind and solar energy in this country has nearly doubled – and thousands of Americans have jobs because of it. And because we put in place the toughest fuel economy standards in history, our cars will average nearly 55 miles per gallon by the middle of the next decade – something that, over time, will save the typical family more than $8,000 at the pump. Now Congress needs to keep that momentum going by renewing the clean energy tax credits that will lead to more jobs and less dependence on foreign oil.  Look, we know there’s no silver bullet that will bring down gas prices or reduce our dependence on foreign oil overnight. But what we can do is get our priorities straight, and make a sustained, serious effort to tackle this problem. That’s the commitment we need right now. And with your help, it’s a commitment we can make.
[What I'm not telling you:  Certainly, there are subsidies to the oil companies!  Certainly, it's money that might be better-spent elsewhere!  A secondary affect of oil company subsidies is lower retail product prices.  We could end said subsidies, but at what cost; at what pain-level to the American consumer?!?

Who--exactly--believes that bullshit?!?  As I mentioned previously, the green-turned-black energy sector exists primarily for the regime to transfer taxpayer 'wealth' to owe-bamacRATic and owe-bama campaign supporters, seemingly without the ruler's "fingerprints" on the transfers!!  Why is 'doubling-down' be any more productive, profitable than the previous 'singling-down' by the owe-bama regime that came just days and weeks prior to the seveal companies' bankruptcy filings?!?  The several energy alternatives are currently unsustainable and thus will currently cost the American taxpayer far more than they'll ever realize.  Let the alternatives live-and-die by consumer demand, product viability, much like the aforemention industrial titans!!  Wake up, America!!  The owe-bama regime--and by that I mean SOROS--will continue to circumvent the United States Constitution; circumvent all logic, until the Congress steps in to force us to stop.  And--rest assured--we WILL NOT stop until forced to do so!!  Soros does admit--by the way--these price issues, these production issues and these tax issues are a direct aid to the owe-bama class-warfare strategy!!]

I’m here in Detroit visiting workers at a GM plant in the heart of a resurgent American auto industry. And I brought a guest with me – President Lee of South Korea.  We’re here because this week, Congress passed landmark trade agreements with countries like Korea, and assistance for American workers that will be a big win for our economy.  These trade agreements will support tens of thousands of American jobs. And we’ll sell more Fords, Chevys and Chryslers abroad stamped with three proud words – “Made in America.”  So it was good to see Congress act in a bipartisan way on something that will help create jobs at a time when millions of Americans are out of work and need them now.  But that’s also why it was so disappointing to see Senate Republicans obstruct the American Jobs Act, even though a majority of Senators voted “yes” to advance this jobs bill.
[What I'm not telling you: This has been a really dismal week for me; for my regime in general and for 'General' holder in particular!  So I thought we'd start the explanation of this blather opportunity off with a bit of humor:  President Lee of South Korea is visiting for a cuppla'days as we sign away more American rights on the international trade front.  Just for the-hell-of-it; I decided to feed the president some Japanese food; Waygu (Japanese bred cattle) beef, if for no other reason that to show him who's actually in charge around here. 
  The South Korean trade agreement was suggested to me as a way to continue to reward the United Auto Workers Union for their on-going support.  You'll recall that during the $787 Thousand-Million PORKulus bail-out of 'Government Motors' and Chrysler, we gave said union a 17.5% stake in the company while the bond-holders--the only ones putting private money at-risk--were screwed-to-the-wall with a mere 10% ownership in 'Government' Motors!!
    That "Made in America" phrase means diddly-squat!!   Considering the vast and varied makes and models of American autos, about the only thing Made in America are the patents and the trademark agreements!!  Just considering GM vehicles: the Camaro, the Equinox, the Impala and the GMC Terrain are Made in Canada; the Cadillac SRX and Escalade EXT, the Chevrolet Aveo, HHR, Silverado, the GMC Sierra are Made in Mexico!!  Hell, the foreign monikers build more 'Made in America' vehicles than do the U.S. companies!  Of foreign auto makers, Toyota: Camry and Avalon (Georgetown, Ky.), Sienna and Highlander (Princeton, In.), with other large Toyota auto plants in Huntsville Al., and San Antonio, Tx.;  Hyundai:  Sonata and Elantra (Montgomery, Al.); Kia: Sorento (West Point, Ga.); Nissan builds its larger pickups and SUVs in Smyrna, Ga.;  Mercedes-Benz ML-, R- and G-class models (Vance, Al.); BMW X-Series SUVs (Spartanburg, S.C.).
    My failed 'American Jobs (and Taxes) Act' was not the result of which side the republicRATs fell on during the Senate vote; the owe-bamacRATics couldn't even get all their members to vote for my latest (but surely not the last) wealth re-distribution plan!  Some of those owe-bamacRATics who did vote for the plan, questioned the $447 Thousand-MILLION spending plan with an already outrageous $1.5 Thousand-BILLION budget deficit!!  Hell, even that louse 'Pinky' reid changed his vote to "NO!!"]
We can’t afford this lack of action. And there is no reason for it. Independent economists say that this jobs bill would give the economy a jumpstart and lead to nearly two million new jobs. Every idea in that jobs bill is the kind of idea both parties have supported in the past.  The majority of the American people support the proposals in this jobs bill. And they want action from their elected leaders to create jobs and restore some security for the middle class right now. You deserve to see your hard work and responsibility rewarded – and you certainly deserve to see it reflected in the folks you send to Washington.  But rather than listen to you and put folks back to work, Republicans in the House spent the past couple days picking partisan ideological fights. They’re seeing if they can roll back clean air and water protections. They’re stirring up fights over a woman’s right to make her own health care choices. They’re not focused on the concrete actions that will put people back to work right now.
[What I'm not telling you:  Not only have I destroyed the domestic energy sector on both land and sea; I intend to continue to destroy it through the IRS which will have the added benefit of raising energy costs as I had intended in my last campaign.  With the removal--or severe limitation--of various oil and gas tax incentives, the intended consequence is higher exploration, recovery and refining costs as well as increased retail energy costs FOR YOU, the consumer!!
    My voter base has substantially deminished of late!  Polls indicate that the 18-to-24 year-old voter is quickly but quietly, leaning toward a far more conservative mindset.  With the added deficit spending putting them--and all Americans--in the untenable position of being so far in debt, they'll never-see-daylight in their lifetimes.  Even the leadership of the various "occupy (insert city name here)" mobs have such a disjointed agenda as to be rudderless.  Their spokes-people on the national news shows can't clearly articulate their demands; they just--much like my campaign blather--read from a list of 'talking-points.']
Well, we’re going to give them another chance. We’re going to give them another chance to spend more time worrying about your jobs than keeping theirs.  Next week, I’m urging Members of Congress to vote on putting hundreds of thousands of teachers back in the classroom, cops back on the streets, and firefighters back on the job.  And if they vote “no” on that, they’ll have to tell you why. They’ll have to tell you why teachers in your community don’t deserve a paycheck again. They’ll have to tell your kids why they don’t deserve to have their teacher back. They’ll have to tell you why they’re against commonsense proposals that would help families and strengthen our communities right now.  In the coming weeks, we’ll have them vote on the other parts of the jobs bill – putting construction workers back on the job, rebuilding our roads and bridges; providing tax cuts for small businesses that hire our veterans; making sure that middle-class families don’t see a tax hike next year and that the unemployed and our out-of-work youth have a chance to get back in the workforce and earn their piece of the American Dream.  That’s what’s at stake. Putting people back to work. Restoring economic security for the middle class. Rebuilding an economy where hard work is valued and responsibility is rewarded – an economy that’s built to last. And I’m going to travel all over the country over the next few weeks so that we can remind Congress that’s their job. Because there’s still time to create jobs and grow our economy right now. There’s still time for Congress to do the right thing. We just need to act.
[What I'm not telling you:  All these 'protected-class' jobs I refer to?!?  The teachers, the policemen and women, the firefighters, the first-responders, et al?!?  Those jobs that will come with the passage of my mis-guided Jobs and Tax' legislation will only be funded FOR ONE YEAR!!  After that year, it will become the responsibility of the states, counties and municipalities to either continue funding on their own, or lay off the added employees!!  How cleaver is that!!  I get the 'positive bounce' with the jobs 'creation;' they suffer the wrath of raising local taxes to continuing the funding OR to fire the workers!!  Again..... How Cleaver Is That?!? 
    Notice that--even though this regime's created dam' few jobs--I continue to wander aimlessly around the countryside (at taxpayer expense), blathering on incessantly about all the good I'm doing, all the jobs I've created.  In truth--if George Soros would allow it--all that's needed for an intense economic resurgence is the nullification of the many and vast, strangling rules and regulations small businesses suffer under, as well as the nullification of owe-bamaKare!!  owe-bamaKare has been the most destructive jobs-killer ever devised--and most of the provisions haven't even gone into effect, yet!! 
    Truth-be-told (a foreign concept to me!), the only thing stopping me (actually Soros) from being anointed "Ruler-for-Life" is that dam' "Tea Party" movement!!  The 'movement'--as opposed to those "occupy...." miscreants--protest as such a well-mannered, ordered gathering as to be practically impossible to vilify!  Try as we might, ordering the fascist-leaning media to continue to denegrate the movement never works.  The articles never gain any traction, except on shows like 'Mr Ed' Shultz and that idiot Sharpton's, reaching a combined viewership of about 16 people. 
    The "Tea Party" movement continually hold their representatives' and senators' feet-to-the-fire; making fascist legisation nearly impossible to pass!!  The current trend is circumventing the "Tea Party" movement with those "occupy...." miscreants by the fascist-leaning media.  Even that ain't workin'!]
