obama Shows Determination In Louisiana

"Clown Prince" obama is determined to trash the nation's economy, one state at a time!!  Here's how he's destroying Louisiana's economy:

• It took eleven whole days for the "Schlub-in-Chief" to even acknowledge there had been 'an event' in the Gulf of Mexico, somehow involving a oil drilling rig.
• The "Schlub-in-Chief" closed 26% of federal waters to fishing--1% of Louisiana's economy.  This was done before anyone apparently thought to catch some fish and test 'em OR dip a net and see if there's any oil on it!!
• The "Schlub-in-Chief" has trashed another 16% of Louisiana's economy with his moratorium on off-shore drilling!!  Of course he thought no farther out 'than the end of his nose!'  In total percentages, this will have a far greater affect than just the loss of drilling:

1. What about the helicopters and boats that ferry the workers to the platforms?
2. What about the suppliers of helicopters and boats?
3. What about the suppliers of helicopter and boat repair parts?
4. What about the diners and restaurants where oil related workers have their lunch?
5. What about the food-service supply companies?
6. What about the car dealers where the workers buy their vehicles?
7. What about the auto suppliers--some of which the "Schlub-in-Chief" bought?
8. What about the retailers where the workers spend to repair and improve their homes?
9. What about the lumber companies, plywood mills, truss builders?
10. What about the Chinese nationals that supply the sub-quality crap?
11. What about the suppliers who depend on drilling to consume replaceable equipment and parts and provide their replacements?
12. What about the beer joints where the workers "unwind" after their several days on the rigs?

Here once again, is a clear example what blather and photo ops plus a complete lack of any substantive experience can accomplish!!

Why I Carry a Gun:
   My dad told me "Son, there comes a time in every man's life when he stops bustin' knuckles and starts bustin' caps and usually it's when he becomes too old to take an ass-whoopin'."

1. I don't carry a gun to kill people:  I carry a gun to keep from being killed.
2. I don't carry a gun to scare people:  I carry a gun because sometimes this world can be a scary place.
3. I don't carry a gun because I'm paranoid:  I carry a gun because there are real threats in the world.
4. I don't carry a gun because I'm evil:  I carry a gun because I have lived long enough to see the evil in the world.
5. I don't carry a gun because I hate the government:  I carry a gun because I understand the limitations of government.
6. I don't carry a gun because I'm angry:  I carry a gun so that I don't have to spend the rest of my life hating myself for failing to be prepared.
7. I don't carry a gun because I want to shoot someone:  I carry a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my bed, and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon.
8. I don't carry a gun because I'm a cowboy:  I carry a gun because, when I die and go to heaven, I want to be a cowboy.
9. I don't carry a gun to make me feel like a man:  I carry a gun because men know how to take care of themselves and the ones they love.
10. I don't carry a gun because I feel inadequate:  I carry a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I am inadequate.
11. I don't carry a gun because I love it:  I carry a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful to me.

 Police protection is an oxymoron.

Free citizens must protect themselves.

Police do not protect citizens from crime, they just investigate the aftermath then call someone in to clean up the mess.

Personally, I carry a gun because I'm too young to die and too old to take an ass-whoopin' .....author unknown (but obviously brilliant)

• In 1938, Germany established gun control.  From 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others--unable to defend themselves--were rounded up and exterminated.
• In 1935, China established gun control. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents--unable to defend themselves--were rounded up and exterminated.
• In 1964, Guatemala established gun control.  From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians--unable to defend themselves--were rounded up and exterminated.
• In 1970, Uganda established gun control. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians--unable to defend themselves--were rounded up and exterminated.
• In 1956, Cambodia established gun control.  From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people--unable to defend themselves--were rounded up and exterminated.
• Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.

Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property;  gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.  Take note Americans, before it's too late!
The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of this history lesson.
