This'n'That; May Twenty-seventh[Incompetence;

Will DNC Rethink Vetting Process After obama?
   Definition:  Vet, To vet;
  1. To subject to thorough examination or evaluation: vet a candidate.
  2. To examine: to check for validity, accuracy or authenticity.
  3. A veteran.
  4. A soldier, especially one who has fought in a war.
For the past 300+ days we've been subjected to the foremost case of "vetting" failure in American history!!  "Clown Prince" obama has proven--almost daily--that he's just not up to the task of competent federal governance.  To be competent, one should:
  1. Have the ability of cognizant thinking, reasoning.
  2. Have the ability to see "the big picture."
  3. Have the ability to set aside one's own ego for the betterment of "the people."
  4. Have the ability to delegate authority and retain responsibility.
  5. Have the ability to praise those who accomplish rather than assume "the glory" for oneself.
  6. Have the ability to discern the difference between truth and falsehood and err on the side of truth.
The "Clown Prince" seems to not have any rof the necessary qualities required for federal leadership.  He has demonstrated he's the epitomy of everything a chief executive SHOULD NOT BE!!

What is his thinking, reasoning in halting all offshore drilling?  Why include projects thousands of miles away, in Alaska?  Why was the drilling shutdown necessary given that Russsia, China, Cuba, Venezuela among others are still drilling IN THE SAME GULF OF MEXICO??

Where is "the big picture" here when obama suspends all offshore drilling in light of America's dependency on foreign oil and their demand for oil related products?

I could go on and on, but why recap "Clown Prince" obama's ongoing failings?
You get sick of reading it; I get sick of researching and writing it!

Ya know--just 'tween you and I--I wish he'd start STEALING and forego his continual lying!!  Where the thief is concerned: you know when he's stealing;  the liar.... You never know until "all Hell breaks loose!!"

The [insert your choice of negative title here] continues to lie, even as the actual truth is pointed out to anyone who wants to read it:

He says he's in charge and been 'on the case since day one'  I wrote here on May 1st, that he took twelve--count'em 12--days to even acknowledge that "something had happened" in the gulf!!  If he was 'so incharge,' why on day #4 [April 24th] did he and "The Chin" spend the day cavorting about Asheville, North Carolina!!  Shouldn't he have been in a 'command center,' somewhere??

Aw, F*^k It!!!  He ain't gonna stop lyin' and I ain't gonna stop being pissed off about it!!

This'n'That; May Twenty-sixth[BoobTwo;Guns;FUBO]

obama Apology Tour Continues; biden Stands In
Here we go....from on incompetent boob to another incompentent boob!!   "Boob Two,"  with his opportunity to substitute for "Boob One," illustrated his true level of incompetency during a blather opportunity--on May 6th--before the European Parliment in Brussels, Belgium:
"As you probably know, some American politicians and American journalists refer to Washington, D.C. as the 'capital of the free world,'" biden said. "But it seems to me that in this great city, which boasts 1,000 years of history and which serves as the capital of Belgium, the home of the European Union, and the headquarters for NATO, this city has its own legitimate claim to that title."
We must remind "Boob Two" of some events that transpired during the darkest days of WWII:
  • In May of 1940, Germany invaded Belgium and for more than four years, was occupied by Hitler’s Nazi Germany [the Fascists!!].
  • During the winter of 1944/'45, one of the most well known battles of World War II took place.  The Battle of the Bulge, where more than 19,000 American servicemen were killed in action and another 75,000 wounded. Another 1,400 British were killed or wounded.
  • The Battle of the Bulge was the single largest battle fought in World War II. Between 60,000 and 120,000 Germans were killed or wounded, and another 3,000 civilians were killed.
  • If  not for the many members of the Allied forces who paid the ultimate price, Belgium might very well be the last country in existence ruled by Nazi fascism!!
To be completely fair [although the fascists never are] we should commend "Boob Two" for opening the thought that probably Brussels--as the capitol of the planet--would be the better choice for the home of The United Nations!!  The Belgians can then deal with the crime and associated bullshit brought in under the guise of 'diplomatic immunity!!!'

"Clown Prince" obama STILL Wants YOUR Guns!!

[This, from The Moral Liberal [ http://www.themoralliberal.com/ ].  Everyone should check in there--from time to time--for some informative reading!!
{Remember NAFTA....?  Those who inquired were told that it was an 'agreement' and as such, didn't need to be ratified by the U.S. Senate.   The treaty power is a coordinated effort between the Executive branch and the Senate. The President may form and negotiate a treaty, but the treaty must be advised and consented to by a two-thirds vote in the Senate. Only after the Senate approves the treaty can the President ratify it. Once a treaty is ratified, it becomes binding on all the states under the Supremacy Clause.]
Bet you hadn’t heard how the obama Regime intends on sidestepping the 2nd Amendment when this past Wednesday Secretary of State Hillary "Rob'em"  Clinton announced her support for the U.N. small arms treaty, reversing the previous position of the United States under the Bush Administration. All I’ve heard was how BP’s oil was going to destroy the Florida Keys as it meandered its way out of the Gulf of Mexico, a steady assault on Arizona’s border legislation, Elena Kagan’s nomination to the Supreme Court or how a Suni Muslim won the Miss America pageant. All these stories are newsworthy and deserve a nod; but why wasn’t Hillary’s signing off on a treaty with the U.N. mentioned, a treaty that will eventually lead to total disarmament of civilians?

“Once the US Government signs these international treaties, all US citizens will be subject to those gun laws created by foreign governments.”
I learned of this treaty signing through an ‘email forward’; you know, that medium which overloads the average person with too much information as Obama has warned . It would be a mistake to rely on the ‘drive-by media’, as they have come to be called, since they seem to be in the back pocket of Obama; reporting only stories which have been approved for general release.
“Speaking at Hampton University in Virginia, the "Clown Prince"  raised alarms when he said “information becomes a distraction, a diversion” that is putting “pressure on our country and on our democracy.’”

It has been determined by the Obama administration that the citizenry might be better off not knowing about the U.N. treaty signing. It might be more than our little minds can take; show them some more pictures of water foul covered with slime or plumes of oil spewing from 5,000 feet below the surface of the Gulf; but for heaven’s sake don’t mention anything about taking away guns; American’s take offense to the very thought.
The first step to taking away private ownership of guns has been taken. In a few short years the next step, registration of all guns; followed by a period of time when citizens will be asked to turn in their guns; all this to make the world a safer place. The final step is confiscation of guns not previously relinquished voluntarily. A citizenry without guns is the easiest to control.

I've gotten several searches, looking for the definition of "FUBO" and for the FUBO t-shirts, mugs, flags and a wealth of other stuff.
Here are just a few of the many designs they have:

This'n'That; May Twenty-fifth[MemorialDay;ACORN]

"Clown Prince" obama To Ignore Memorial Day Obligations!
Man-oh-man-oh-man!!  This federal shit-bag is far more than incompetent; He goes to great lengths to vilify the contributions of both the living and the disceased veterans.  In his stead, he intends to send joe biden; the other member of the team, "The Boobsey Twins." The bidens will host a breakfast for "Gold Star" families--those who lost a family member to war.  If I were a Gold Star family... I'd BE DAM'ED if I'd attend when that political punk couldn't be bothered!!
While I feel great sorrow for those in uniform who must serve under this incompetent boob, I understand their devotion to duty; to country!!  My military service--in both the Air Force and the Army--ended years ago, but even today I like most veterans, have an affinity of brotherhood for the good, brave, selfless ladies and gentlemen who honorably serve!!
I do not remember, nor can I find any reference to; ANY OTHER chief executive who ignored this unspoken duty to the veterans and war dead... FOR A TRIP BACK HOME!!!  Remember SHITBAG, these guys and gals fought and died to give you the freedom to royally fuck up the greatest country on the planet!!!
...And YOU Thought "Clown Prince" obama Got Rid Of ACORN; Ha!!!
[This incompetent boob merely has to wait until all the name changes are in place to resume the funding for his primary voter fraud organizations!]

This'n'That; May Twenty-Fourth[PORKlosi;SEIU]

PORKlosi STILL Giving YOUR Money Away!!
Nancy PORKlosi {the "RAVING lunatic beauty" at right} is now telling the creative types--writers, artists,etc--the fascists in government consider obamaCare: entrepreneurial legislation.  She's telling those same creative types to quit their jobs to concentrate on their creativity and the American taxpayer would be forced to pay their health care premiums!!
How's that 'Hope and Change workin' for ya, now?!?!

How Long Can "Clown Prince" obama's Thugocracy Continue??

 {Fascist--Saul Alinsky’s Rule # 12 states:
“Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)”
On 05/23--Sunday, last--hundreds of members of the nation's largest, most crooked union–the SEIU–stormed the front yard of Bank of America deputy general counsel Greg Baer’s home, after being escorted to the scene by the DC Metro Police's Civil Disturbance Unit. They then broke the law by trespassing to bully Baer’s teenage son, the only one home at the time, who locked himself in the bathroom out of fear.

This is what unions do.
  • They pressure politicians into spending too much.
  • They push government into bad policy decisions.
  • They sacrifice the private sector for the public sector.
  • They trespass and break the law only to scare the children of private citizens to get their way.
These unions DO NOT work alone!!

  • These protests are being carefully coordinated with the White House to increase their profile against the financial fat cats and help pass "Crooked Chris" Dodd’s financial regulatory bill.
  • Remember it was SEIU boss Andy Stern who was the most frequent guest at the white Out House.
There are NO coincidences in politics.
From the G.M. bondholders, to the Black Panthers at polling stations, to ACORN to these assaults on private citizens, obama is running a Hugo Chavez-style thugocracy.
  • Like Chavez, obama gets non-official "allies" to act as his henchemen and do the intimidation work.
  • obama provides the narrative and tells the story of "greed."
  • The SEIU provides the muscle.
  • This is about power, not prosperity.
  • This time it’s gone too far.
Unions see the writing on the wall.
  • The goose that laid the golden egg is bleeding on the operating table – and they’re the ones who killed it.
  • They are bankrupting local and state governments, and putting a strain on the federal budget.
  • Unions have also put us at a major trade imbalance.
  • The stimulus has gone to create more public sector union jobs.
  • These jobs cost on average, 30K more than their private sector equivalents.
Take New York State, for example, once upon a time there was manufacturing, a robust Wall Street engine of growth, Fortune 500 companies aplenty. That “Empire State” is no more. The unions lobbied to ensure that these companies were taxed to death and made it extremely challenging to do business -- so much so, that it became easier to do business in communist China.

The SEIU has made no apology!
Their spokespeople argue that the protest was over home foreclosures under Bank of America’s watch.
  • That doesn’t give them carte blanche to break the law.
  • That doesn’t allow them a "carve-out" like they demanded and received in the health care bill for their costly Cadillac insurance plans.
  • The unions feel they deserve special treatment because they are connected to the party in power.
In this economy, you can't punch someone without feeling it yourself. Punch the bank, they stop making loans, thus hurting the private sector. Punch the private sector, you hurt the markets. Hurt the Street and you hurt the pensions funds, in fact, the very same ones unions are going gangster to protect.

There's nothing the SEIU won't do!!
  • There's  nobody the unions won't intimidate.
  • "Clown Prince" obama, who promised to preside over an administration free from special interest influence, should be held accountable.
  •  As long as we continue to feed the unions, the country will continue to decline.

Taxpayers, send a message loud and clear:
We will not be intimidated!!

"Clown Prince" Weekly Blather; May 22nd

A Patriotic Response To The "Clown Prince;" 05/22/2010
Saturday, May 22, 2010
Washington, DC
One month ago this week, BP’s Deepwater Horizon drilling rig exploded off Louisiana’s coast, killing 11 people and rupturing an underwater pipe. The resulting oil spill has not only dealt an economic blow to Americans across the Gulf Coast, it also represents an environmental disaster.  In response, we are drawing on America’s best minds and using the world’s best technology to stop the leak. We’ve deployed over 1,100 vessels, about 24,000 personnel, and more than 2 million total feet of boom to help contain it. And we’re doing all we can to assist struggling fishermen, and the small businesses and communities that depend on them.   Folks on the Gulf Coast – and across America – are rightly demanding swift action to clean up BP’s mess and end this ordeal. But they’re also demanding to know how this happened in the first place, and how we can make sure it never happens again. That’s what I’d like to spend a few minutes talking with you about.
    First and foremost, what led to this disaster was a breakdown of responsibility on the part of BP and perhaps others, including Transocean and Halliburton. And we will continue to hold the relevant companies accountable not only for being forthcoming and transparent about the facts surrounding the leak, but for shutting it down, repairing the damage it does, and repaying Americans who’ve suffered a financial loss.  But even as we continue to hold BP accountable, we also need to hold Washington accountable. Now, this catastrophe is unprecedented in its nature, and it presents a host of new challenges we are working to address. But the question is what lessons we can learn from this disaster to make sure it never happens again.   [What I'm not telling you:  Yes, the 'Deepwater Horizon' drilling rig exploded.  Yes, eleven souls were lost in the disaster.  Yes, to some this should be my "Hurricane Katrina."  I WILL NOT allow it to become so!!  I intend to treat this as I do any other negative incident to my plans, my ideologies, my ego--I shall ignore it until it goes away!! Why do you think it took me eleven days to  acknowledge the disaster had even happened??  Hell, "The Chin" and I even spent a wasted day cavorting around Asheville, North Carolina--THAT'S how important this is and was, at least to me.  Actually all those eleven days had a purpose:  It takes time to determine all those with enough culpability to blame the whole mess on; to emplace enough who can AND WILL deflect any political 'spatter' away from me!!    Particular administrations aside, the residents of the Gulf coast are rightly skeptical about the speed and dependability of the government's efforts in the containment and clean-up areas.  {I still wonder why those involved in the Nashvill, Tn., floods weren't on rooftops, screaming for federal give-aways, like the residents of New Orleans!!}
Although I never intend to assume them, by extension  I'm responsible for ALL DECISIONS made in and by, my administration.  Part of the reason for my acknowledgement delay is hoping that no one would connect BP's campaign donation of $3,500,000 with their exemption from a detailed environmental impact analysis.  'Someone' concluded--after three half-assed reviews--that a massive oil spill was unlikely.   On April 6, 2009, the Minerals Management Service gave BP's Deepwater Horizon a categorical exclusion from the 'National Environmental Policy Act.  In addition:  We've been trying to 'slam' Halliburton since they were primary contractors in Iraq and Afganistan.  I think we gott'em this time!!  Plenty of time to manufacture evidence and steer inquiries toward their guilt!!]
If the laws on our books are inadequate to prevent such an oil spill, or if we didn’t enforce those laws – I want to know it. I want to know what worked and what didn’t work in our response to the disaster, and where oversight of the oil and gas industry broke down. We know, for example, that a cozy relationship between oil and gas companies and agencies that regulate them has long been a source of concern.   Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar has taken steps to address this problem; steps that build on reforms he has been implementing since he took office. But we need to do a lot more to protect the health and safety of our people; to safeguard the quality of our air and water; and to preserve the natural beauty and bounty of America.   In recent weeks, we’ve taken a number of immediate measures to prevent another spill. We’ve ordered inspections of all deepwater operations in the Gulf of Mexico. We’ve announced that no permits for drilling new wells will go forward until the 30-day safety and environmental review I requested is complete. And I’ve called on Congress to pass a bill that would provide critical funds and tools to respond to this spill and better prepare us to confront any future spills.   But we also need to take a comprehensive look at how the oil and gas industry operates and how we regulate them. That is why, on Friday, I signed an executive order establishing the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling. While there are a number of ongoing investigations, including an independent review by the National Academy of Engineering, the purpose of this Commission is to consider both the root causes of the disaster and offer options on what safety and environmental precautions we need to take to prevent a similar disaster from happening again. This Commission, I’d note, is similar to one proposed by Congresswoman Capps and Senator Whitehouse.   [What I'm not telling you:    We have far more laws 'on-the-books' than ANY government ANYWHERE should need; most of them being more for control of nearly every aspect of the individual American's  way of life, rather than for the American's benefit.  No matter how we try, the federal government has yet to find a way to legislate human behavior, morality or work ethic!    This was an accident, plain and simple!  Yet, we fully intend to hang the responsibility on the ENTIRETY OF "BIG OIL;" barring that, somehow on President Bush.  Working against my supposition, BP immediately stepped up to the plate, accepted full responsibility for the human error and is standing behind the entire cleanup expense!! Eventually, my--and my administration's--culpability will come to light unless I can get it quashed by the fascist media.  As I mentioned before, if the culpability comes to the fore, I shall combat it by ignoring it!! Aren't I the cleaver one...?!?!  Demanding that the Congress lay the expense of any future spills, accidents directly at your feet--the American Taxpayer!!  It would make far more sense for 'big oil' to put 'XX' cents/dollars per barrel extracted into a reserve cleanup fund--but where's the 'wealth redistribution' in that??  Just what we need.... MORE EGGHEADS studying something they know little about.  With any luck, we can continue this commission into a mature, permanent agency--thus more government expansion by more government EGGHEADs!!]
I’ve asked Democrat Bob Graham and Republican Bill Reilly to co-chair this Commission. Bob served two terms as Florida’s governor, and represented Florida as a United States Senator for almost two decades. During that time, he earned a reputation as a champion of the environment, leading the most extensive environmental protection effort in the state’s history.   Bill Reilly is chairman emeritus of the board of the World Wildlife Fund, and he is also deeply knowledgeable about the oil and gas industry. During the presidency of George H.W. Bush, Bill was Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, and his tenure encompassed the Exxon Valdez disaster.   I can’t think of two people who will bring greater experience or better judgment to the task at hand. In the days to come, I’ll appoint 5 other distinguished Americans – including scientists, engineers, and environmental advocates – to join them on the Commission. And I’m directing them to report back in 6 months with recommendations on how we can prevent – and mitigate the impact of – any future spills that result from offshore drilling.  [What I'm not telling you:  We {read: 'I'} need some republicRATs on this silly commission; we've gotta have someone to blame any errors or delays on!!  'Greater experience' does not mean 'better experience.'  Notice there's no mention of ANYONE from BIG OIL on the commission;  who would have greater knowledge and experience with the effects of oil, both positive and negative??   Most of 'my' voters are too young to remember the "Exxon Valdez" DISASTER.  That was truely a disaster that I hope is never dredged up; the spillage may end up being less, but the economic and environmental expense was exponentially greater than "Deepwater Horizon" will ever be!!  The 'Valdez' HEAVY crude created a far greater cleanup expense.  The 'Deepwater' LIGHT, SWEET crude will cause damage not nearly the magnitude of the 'Valdez!'  Light crude has been leaking from the ocean floors for eons; nature cleans that up-primarily through evaporation.]
One of the reasons I ran for President was to put America on the path to energy independence, and I have not wavered from that commitment. To achieve that goal, we must pursue clean energy and energy efficiency, and we’ve taken significant steps to do so. And we must also pursue domestic sources of oil and gas. Because it represents 30 percent of our oil production, the Gulf of Mexico can play an important part in securing our energy future. But we can only pursue offshore oil drilling if we have assurances that a disaster like the BP oil spill will not happen again. This Commission will, I hope, help provide those assurances so we can continue to seek a secure energy future for the United States of America.  [What I'm not telling you:  Energy independence is so far down on the list as to be of negligible value.  If I placed any value on the oil demand, would I have continued the 125 mile no-drilling zone on the American coastline--while China, Russia, Cuba {in partnership with both China and Russia}, Venezuala and Mexico all drill within that limit, in the waters between Cuba and Key West, Florida??  Would I have cancelled potentially profitable, productive leases in Wyoming and Alaska??  Would I have moved solar panel production to the federal prisons, thus taking jobs out of the workforce??  As you can tell by now, all those promises I made during the "Campaign of Fluff" are just that..... FLUFF!!]

This'n'That; May Twenty-Third[Carlisle Car Show;Restaurant]

One "Helluva" Weekend!
Well, almost everything went well over the course of the weekend.  The possible exception was our first  night's lodging.  The closest to Carlisle, Pa., I could get a reservation was a Rodeway Inn, Shippensburg, Pa.  This was run by a WHOLE Indian {India} family and, as one might expect, the room was far inferior to those run by real, legal, Americans!  But, not to dwell on that, we were able to get the second night's lodging right in Carlisle!!  About four miles from the car show at the Carlisle Fairgrounds.  As luck would have it.... the Super8 was almost directly across the street from our FAVORITE RESTAURANT in the area, The Middlesex Diner.

Anyone running up and down I-81, the Middlesex Diner is a MUST SEE-MUST EAT!!  {Enter 1803 Harrisburg Pike, Carlisle Pa., 17013 into your GPS!!}  The Young Miss Lovely and I have the same tastes in food and frequently order the same thing.  This is what we got for FIVE BUCKS, EACH:
  • {All this completely filled one of those oblong 'china' platters}
  • Two eggs, any style [we chose scrambled]
  • One huge portion of home fries
  • One huge portion of Corned Beef Hash
  • One 'bottom-less' cup of coffee
[I honestly don't know how they make a profit; stay in business!!]

Here's photos of some the cars we saw, some are 'kits' that I was interested in:

This is a "Woody-Wagon" kit car.  It sits on an S-10 frame with a Chevy V-6, and GM running gear.  The owner has about 6 months of part-time assembly into the project.

This [blue] is a fiberglas [kit] replica of a 1938 Simca, sedan-delivery.  The body sits on a 4" square tube frame with Mustang II front end. It's driven by a SUPER-tweeked Buick V-6; it has hit 130 mph, a couple of times!!  Owner says it needs 'wheelie-bars' to keep it from going over backward!!

This appears to be a near-perfect replica of a 1936 Mercedes Benz Cabriolet.  With the exception of the seats, the car looks as if it could be an original.  I couldn't find a single mark on the body; someone takes really good care of this beauty!!

This'n'That; May Twentieth[GovBrewer;Hiatus;Falcons;Smerlas]

Gov Brewer Hands "Clown Prince" His Ass!!
[This is from the Rush Limbaugh website; a press conference by Arizona Governor Jan Brewer.  She displays 'Palin-esque testicular fortitude' in calling out "Clown Prince" obama for his condemnation of Arizona cutting into the obamacRAT illegal alien voting block!]
BREWER: While the president is making wisecracks and playing racial politics, some groups have suggested that Arizona be punished for enforcing laws that our federal government has failed to enforce. That is misguided at best. Our purpose today is to help the rest of the nation understand the crisis which confronts our state. Our nation's government is broken. Our border is being erased, and the president apparently considers it a wonderful opportunity to divide people along racial lines for his personal political convenience.

RUSH: I mean that is what you call a blast. That's last Saturday, the governor of Arizona, Jan Brewer, with fortitude, courage, and guts rarely seen in the Republican Party these days. She has no fear of what anybody's going to say about her because what she knows is, they're already saying it. She's not waiting around for a puff piece from the Washington Post style section or the New York Times, nor is she attempting to avoid being criticized in either. She is representing the people of the state of Arizona, and particularly those who elected her. And she wasn't through.

BREWER: It's fair to ask whether he intends to be the commander-in-chief or the comic-in-chief. Since the president's joke was so inappropriate, I suppose if I wanted to join in the comedian game, I could suggest that he not give up his day job. Unfortunately, though, he isn't doing very well at that one, either.

RUSH: And here's Obama, this is what she was talking about from May 1st, the White House Correspondents Dinner. Keep in mind this is the president of the United States.

RUSH: There's Barack Obama, his material written for him by the writers, the 12 writers on Jon Stewart's show at Comedy Central. Twelve writers from Comedy Central wrote the Bamster's routine.
OBAMA: We all know what happens in Arizona when you don't have ID. (laughter) Adios, amigos!

Personal Hiatus
Cuz "The Young Miss Lovely" works for a livin' and I'm mostly retired, we've decided that she needs a 'mental health' weekend away from the high stress levels of her job.  We're gonna take a long weekend; a run southward to a car show or two--maybe even a historical sight.
So..... the analysis of "Clown Prince" obama's Weekly Blather and the [almost] daily "This'n'That" columns will be a bit late!!  BUT.... Hopefully, there'll be some photos of really cool cars.... Stay Tuned!!

Fred Smerlas--our best hope to 'repeal' the Slaughter Solution--still hasn't made a decision on whether to defeat her or not!!  While some Buffalo print media had reported that Fred had decided not to run, he told Bob Matthews that he'd love to run; to be in politics, but was still in a quandry where his family was concerned.  Before his final decision, Fred wanted to discuss the run with a couple of political friends in the Boston area.

This'n'That; May Nineteenth[Stocks-Inflation;Beck-Goldline]

"Clown Prince" obama Continues To 'Screw!'
NOW I GET IT....!!!  I finally get it--when Rush Limbaugh says: "obama is the most inept, most inexperienced, most incompetent individual in any room he enters!!"  Since this incompetent boob fixed the economy, fixed the investment community; we've been 'takin' a bath' in the stock market!!  I'm considering selling out both the "Young Miss Lovely's" and my individual Scottrade investment accounts.
We were making substantial gains in the market until Q4--2008.  We even held our own through the "Clown Prince's" early, inept tweaking of the economy and financial markets.  Since Q3--2009, we've been unable to stem the losses.
While the saying is true; "It ain't a profit or a loss 'til ya sell," and it applies to any investment: the stock market, real estate markets, precious metals.  While gold is prices way out of our range, precious metals have been in the back of my mind for years, since the '80s, when silver sold for $4.50 per ounce.
In Q1--2010, I made the decision to start accumulating silver bullion at the expense of depositing to the "Young Miss Lovely's" Roth IRA.  The spot price in the beginning was in the low 18 dollars.  Until "Clown Prince" obama's immaculation, I had been an optimist where the economy and my finances were concerned.  He "dam' shore" broke me of that!!
One only has to look to those who surround the "Clown Prince" to know that there's a fascist--socialist--communist plot [if not a 'conspiracy'] afoot to take the U.S. economy and it's financial sector to a net worth of "zero-point-shit!!"  The Greek deficit is 125% of GDP; Japan's deficit is 200% of GDP.  At current borrowing/spending rates; in five years or less, the U.S. deficit will be at or near 100% of GDP.  If Greece is being 'bailed out' at the 125% point, how many years [or even MONTHS!!] after we reach the 100% point, will we be at the mercy of those third-world ratholes, "Clown Prince" obama has pissed off along his way to a one-world government??
With our impending stock sell-off, "Miss Lovely" will take away a 54% gain; I will take away a 151% gain.  If we were to maintain our current positions in the market, it's conceivable that we could "ride 'em all the way to the bottom!!"  At the bottom point, every share of those stocks would be at or near "the obama approved" value of zero-point-shit!!  [We each have positions in Bershire-Hathaway {BRK-B} that we intend to keep]
In my obama regime era pessimism, I see America going the way of the Weimar Republic
[pre-  The engraving reads:
WWII Germany].  Between 1918 and 1923, hyperinflation became s-o-o-o-o bad that one gold Reich Mark went from 1-to-1 [gold mark to paper mark], to 1-to-1TRILLION paper marks!!!  Somewhere in this post [blogspot isn't real good at keeping photos and charts where the author wants them], there will be a graph that illustrates the aforementioned; a commerative medallion to illustrate prices in 1923.

  • On 1st November 1923
  • 1 pound of bread cost 3 billion,
  • 1 pound of meat: 36 billion,
  • 1 glass of beer: 4 billion.
Get Ready, America!!!  Unless someone intervenes we'll see this in the good ol' U.S. of A.!!!

Speaking Of Precious Metals....
Nearly everyone knows Glenn Beck; if not through his radio program, then through his FOXNews TV program or the several personal appearances he does throughout the year.
Mister Beck has been telling a well-researched truth about the economy, politics and society in general; although he could have been a bit more stringent where President Bush and his cabinet are/were concerned.
"Clown Prince" obama and his minions seem to be having fits over this truth-telling, to the point of advocating boycotts of his programs and advertisers.

  • First, Van Jones and his front group boycotted Mister Beck after Beck was instrumental in Jones leaving his advisory position with the regime.
  • Then, the regime's NUMBER ONE union--SEIU, boycotted Glenn when he brought to light the tens of millions of dollars donated to the "Campaign of Fluff" as well as the union's purple-shirt THUGS voter intimidation in Philadelphia, among others.
  • Next came the "Clown Prince's" spiritual advisor Jim Wallis' boycott when Glenn revealed that wallis espouses a far-more-radical socialist, fascist adgenda than Reverend Wright [whom obama "through under the bus" when his views came to light!] ever did.
All of the boycotts combined to give Fox News its best year ever in 2009 and the first quarter of 2010 was its best quarter ever both ratings-wise and financially.

Now comes the "Beck-Goldline Boycott" of 2010!  This guy--a Congressman Weenie.....er......Weiner; a democRAT of course; from New York, of course; who is attempting to silence Beck by considering charging one of his advertisers of wrong-doing!!
[From http://www.noisyroom.net/ ]:
So Glenn--on his Tuesday radio show--interviewed Goldline's CEO and President Mark Albarian to illustrate how inaccurate and~~quite frankly~~stupid, the Weiner's accusations are:
In a blatant attack to silence Glenn Beck, New York Congressman, Weiner (D-NY) is attacking Goldline, a sponsor of the Glenn Beck Show on Fox and on the radio. Weiner claims that Beck and Goldline are profiting from people’s fears and driving up the price of gold. This is a ridiculous and stupid claim since Beck does not have the funds or clout or will to subvert the gold market. And Goldline does not physically affect the worldwide gold market with their buying and selling. They also fully disclose how much of a profit they make off of buying and selling gold which is entirely on the up and up.

  •  GLENN: I want to start with a, I guess there is a press conference at noon today in Washington with Congressman Weiner. Congressman Weiner who, is it his executive assistant or chief of staff or whoever that used to work for Media Matters? What was — we'll look into it, Tony. But he has launched an investigation now in the most McCarthy sort of way. He is using the power of congress to come after me and a sponsor on my program, Goldline. Mark Albarian is on the phone now. Mark is — go ahead and pick him up, please. Mark is the president of Goldline. Goldline is a sponsor, but I am also a — am I a rather large customer of yours, Mark, or are there —
  • ALBARIAN: You are a rather large client but there are actually larger.
  • GLENN: I'm sure there are. You are saying there are crazier people than me?
  • ALBARIAN: Well, maybe not crazier but there are people that —
  • GLENN: More committed to their philosophy?
  • ALBARIAN: That's fair.
  • GLENN: Yes. Mark, let me just go over a couple of things in our relationship. How long have you been a sponsor in this program?
  • ALBARIAN: I believe it's been about three years.
  • GLENN: Do you remember a time when we had a conversation at the beginning where I said if you don't treat our customers — if you don't treat my customers, my listeners with respect, it isn't going to end well for you?
  • ALBARIAN: Yes.
  • GLENN: Yes. Do you believe me when I said that to you?
  • ALBARIAN: Yes.
  • GLENN: Okay.
  • ALBARIAN: I take you very seriously.
  • GLENN: We've had a great relationship, but I have also been a customer of yours and purchased gold. Now let me reverse the roles. Do you remember telling me when I told you what I wanted to buy that I'm buying the most expensive, the hardest to get and I'm paying a real premium for it. Do you remember saying that?
  • ALBARIAN: I do. You purchased a coin where the round trip costs of buying and selling it are about 36%. So about 18% to buy and about 18% to sell. That's the category that you're in.
  • GLENN: And the category — and that is the most expensive way to buy it?
  • ALBARIAN: That's the most expensive product we have.
  • GLENN: Okay.
  • ALBARIAN: 36% round trip, both in and out.
  • GLENN: Okay. And let me ask the listeners. Do you remember me saying on the air that the way I buy gold coins, the way I buy gold is expensive and some people would say it's nuts. Listeners, you'll have to decide for yourself if you remember me saying that.
  • ALBARIAN: Well, Glenn, I frankly don't think they're nuts. You are buying coins with certain features and benefits. Some of the coins are, as you refer to them, as antique coins. Other coins are small, small in size. Other coins are private meaning that when you sell them back, you won't have to give your home address and your name and Social Security number. There are certain features and benefits to these coins that you are paying these higher premiums for and people make that choice. You could have purchased a one ounce Krugerrand, for example, and the round trip cost would have been, you know, less than 5% in and 5% out. So about 10% round trip. And many, many people who listen to you make that choice. So it's really up to them and it's really up to you.
[JustinCase:]  Quite frankly, the government--rather than going after those who sensibly voice well researched and truthful opposition to "Clown Prince" obama's fascist, one-world principles and policies--would fare better looking to those with the wherewithal to actually sway the gold market and/or benefit in the market's gyrations:  Al Gore, George Soros, Maurice Strong and Joel Rogers.
[Again, JustinCase:]  If Congressman Weiner's true objective is ferreting out the abuse of playing on the public fear, why has he not initiated House hearings on the [former] "Chicago Climate Exchange?"  The same four previously mentioned individuals stand to profit in the TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS in the buying and selling of carbon credits!!

This'n'That; May Eighteenth[DHIMMITUDE?;

Looking For Reasons....
[I found this word on http://www.wesurroundrochester.com/  and decided to research it.  This article explains a lot.  I've long wondered why Muslims and radical Islamics acted the way they did--Their religion and the force they impose to subject EVERYONE to it!!]

The Dhimmitude of the West

Mark Durie
August 2002
To appear in the Newsletter for the Centre for Islamic Studies
London Bible College
Dhimmitude:
  1. An Islamic phenomenon.
  2. Defines the condition of submissive surrender to Islamic rule, yet without conversion to the Islamic faith.
  3. Under classical theological formulations developed in the first centuries of Islam, the region where Islam rules is known as Dar al-Islam 'the House of Islam'.
From the very beginning the Dar al-Islam included many non-Muslims, indeed they were normally in the majority after initial conquest.  The dhimma [Pact of Protection] was granted by the conquerors as one possible outcome of military jihad. It assured the vanquished an institutional legal framework which guaranteed their religious freedom, and determined their social and economic place in the Islamic state. In return the people of the pact, or dhimmis, were required to pay tribute in perpetuity to the Muslim Community (Umma), and to adopt a position of humble servitude to the Umma.

The Koranic verse which dictates this fundamental character for dhimmitude is Sura 9:29:
Within the Islamic state, all non-Muslims who are not objects of war are considered to be dhimmis - communities who are allowed to exist within the Dar al-Islam by virtue of surrender under the conditions of a dhimmi pact. These are the permanently conquered peoples of Islam.
"Fight against those who do not believe in Allah nor in the Last Day, and do not make forbidden what Allah and His Messenger have made forbidden, and do not practice the religion of truth, of those who have been given the Book [i.e. Jews and Christians], until they pay the jizya [head tax] readily and are humbled."
The historian Bat Ye'or has documented the social, political, economic and religious conditions of dhimmi communities - Jews and Christians - in the Middle East. It is a sad history of dispossession and decline. Legal provisions applying to dhimmis ensured their humiliation and inferiority, and to this was added the often crippling taxes which were allocated to support the Muslim community. Under conditions of dhimmitude there was also a constant risk of jihad conditions being reinvoked - of massacre and dispossession - if the dhimmi community is considered to have failed to live up to the conditions of their pact. History records many examples where dhimmis were attacked by their fellow Muslim citizens on such grounds, for example the massacres of the Jews of Granada in 1066, and of the Christians of Damascus in 1860.
"The law required from dhimmis a humble demeanor, eyes lowered, a hurried pace. They had to give way to Muslims in the street, remain standing in their presence and keep silent, only speaking to them when given permission. They were forbidden to defend themselves if attacked, or to raise a hand against a Muslim on pain of having it amputated. Any criticism of the Koran or Islamic law annuled the protection pact. In addition the dhimmi was duty-bound to be grateful, since it was Islamic law that spared his life.
Like sexism and racism, dhimmitude is not only manifested in legal and social structures, but in a psychology of inferiority, a will to serve, which the dominated community adopts in self-preservation.

The whole corpus of these practices … formed an unchanging behavior pattern which was perpetuated from generation to generation for centuries. It was so deeply internalised that it escaped critical evaluation and invaded the realm of self-image, which was henceforth dominated by a conditioning in self-devaluation. … This situation, determined by a corpus of precise legislation and social behaviour patterns based on prejudice and religious traditions, induced the same type of mentality in all dhimmi groups. It has four major characteristics: vulnerability, humiliation, gratitude and alienation."

As one Iranian convert to Christianity put it 'Christianity is still viewed as the religion of an inferior class of people. Islam is the religion of masters and rulers, Christianity is the religion of slaves'. Often dhimmi Christians can be seen to collude to conceal their own condition, finding themselves psychologically unable to critique or oppose it.  Although many of the laws of dhimmitude were dismantled during European colonization, today they are making a comeback.
The requirement that dhimmis affirm and serve Islam greatly limits the repertoire of responses that dhimmified Christians can have towards it. Where there are grounds for confrontation, the only way of struggling permitted to the dhimmi is by saying soft things. Such political correctness is itself an injustice that needs to be exposed and challenged. This dynamic, when combined with the meanings of 'struggle' (jihad) that Islam claims as its divine right without apology of any kind, can intimidate and debilitate Christians who are free and do not live under Islam. The cumulative effect can be that the gross injustices come to seem as somehow excusable or unexceptional. An infamous example is the weak international response today to the persecution of non-Muslims (not just Christians) under Islam. This is epitomized in the slavish attitude adopted by Mary Robinson, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, in a statement she read to an Organisation of Islamic Conference Symposium on Human Rights in Islam held at the Palais des Nations in Geneva in 2002. After offering praise Robinson adopts the strategy of affirming the inherent righteousness of Islam:
Islam is exerting an increasingly important influence in the destiny of Western cultures. Through immigration, oil economics, cultural exchange and even terrorism, the remnants of what was once Christendom now find themselves having to attend to Islam and its distinctive 'take' on the world. We increasingly hear that we have an 'Abrahamic' civilization - an Islamic perspective - not a Judeo-Christian one.   Within the Islamic self-consciousness, there are limited options for the roles that non-Muslims communities can play. The only real alternative to 'enemies of Allah' is dhimmitude.
No one can deny that at its core Islam is entirely consonant with the principle of fundamental human rights, including human dignity, tolerance, solidarity and equality. Numerous passages from the Qur'an and sayings of the Prophet Muhammad will testify to this. No one can deny, from a historical perspective, the revolutionary force that is Islam, which bestowed rights upon women and children long before similar recognition was afforded in other civilizations. …And no one can deny the acceptance of the universality of human rights by Islamic States."
"It is important to recognize the greatness of Islam, its civilizations and its immense contribution to the richness of the human experience, not only through profound belief and theology but also through the sciences, literature and art.

Observe here the dhimmi themes of gratitude, affirmation of moral superiority of Islam (with the implication of inferiority of the infidel), and the denial of any possible voice of protest against human rights abuses in Islamic states. It is a classical dhimmi strategy to avoid confrontation by affirming what is best in Islam. Change for the better is only allowed to arise from values which Muslims can see as springing from their faith itself. This strategy conceals and disempowers the moral worth of non-Muslim value systems. It is the strategy of those whose existence is marginal and threatened.
For Christians there is a special challenge here. In adapting to this requirement of grateful service, Christians can interpret their own submissiveness in gospel categories of forgiveness and service. But from the Islamic side this just looks like 'submission', i.e. the program of 'Islam' itself is working. Islam interprets such submissiveness as its rightful due, not an expression of grace, and affords itself the right to the feeling of generosity. Likewise international aid is interpreted as tribute, a rightful due. This perception is reinforced when the most peaceful Islamic nations receive the least aid.
For those living in liberal democracies this is not in the end a healthy way to engage with the 'other' that is Islam. It establishes a framework in which Islam takes on the role of a dominator that expects to be praised, admired, and stroked. The reaction to deserved criticism, when it manages to find a voice, can be shock, denial and outrage.

Another cost of this dynamic is a widespread Islamic pattern of claiming the role of victim, whilst inculpating others for problems not of their making. Since Islam is not confronted with its own difficulties, whilst having its virtues affirmed, Muslim communities have permission to feel themselves aggrieved. This is enormously costly for the ongoing social and economic development of Islamic nations, and it is costly for Western societies.

Appeasement and the softly, softly approach only buys time. Sooner or later the will to dominance inherent in the jihad stream of the Qur'an and Sunna will rear its head when a faithful believer reads the Qur'an and finds that it says to struggle against unbelievers and subjugate them. Frank exposure and critique offers the best way to contain this outcome.

This'n'That; May Seventeenth [Housing;TedNUGENT]

Ted Says It All!!
[I found reference to this Ted Nugent editorial on my local 'tea party' site.  I can't and wouldn't CHANGE ONE WORD!!!]

NUGENT: My gun control
By Ted Nugent

Water, water, everywhere water. Know it, embrace it, manage it or drown. Same goes for cars, trucks, chain saws, knives, crowbars, blowtorches, teakettles and guns. I will not be denied the pragmatic, functional utility of anything based on the inept, clumsy, irresponsible failure of brain-dead, uncoordinated numskulls.
I will not drown; drink and drive; chain-saw massacre anyone; stumble; slice, burn or shoot myself, nor will I ever hold up a bank. So the best advice would be to think, improvise, adapt and overcome, man up, but by all means, leave me alone. You don't ban electric guitars just because someone may have a lapse in logic, goodwill and decency and spontaneously break out into country and Western music. The vast majority of sensible people will use electric guitars as God intended and whip out good, sexy rock 'n' roll licks.
I need my cars, trucks, chain saws, knives, crowbars, blowtorches, scalding-hot water, guitars and guns, thank you. Amazingly, I have mastered them all, and they are all wonderful ingredients for my American dream of rugged individualism, declared independence and self-sufficiency. They all serve me well, and I am not giving up any of them. Ever.
The masses must never be controlled for the sake of the lunatic fringe. Remember "Don't Tread on Me"? Don't.
The National Rifle Association (NRA) was formed 139 years ago. Members of this ultimate "we the people" grass-roots family organization dedicated to the self-evident truth of self-defense will gather together in Charlotte, N.C., May 14 through 16 for our annual meetings to celebrate good over evil. It is a beautiful thing. I will be there.  With NRA memberships increasing and gun and ammo sales and concealed-weapons permits surging at unprecedented rates, never in the history of mankind have more people possessed more firepower and, most significantly, carried more concealed weapons on their persons than today across America.
    And the inescapable truth-
as FBI crime reports and numerous law enforcement and academic studies conclude - is that more guns clearly equal less crime. Where there are more guns per capita, violent crime goes down, particularly crimes of assault, such as rape, burglary and robbery.
This is good. This is what the NRA stands for. Anti-gunners, not so much.
It is indeed Chicago Mayor Richard Daley's gun-ban dream of "gun-free zones" that have proved to be the guaranteed slaughter zones, where the most innocent lives are lost every time. Think Columbine, Virginia Tech, Lane Bryant, Northwest Illinois University, New Jersey, Salt Lake City and Omaha malls, Luby's Cafeteria, Calgary University, Toronto, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Boston, Flight 93, the mayor's office in San Francisco, ad nauseam. Peace and love will get you killed, and unarmed helplessness is a welcome matt for evil. It's common sense unless, of course, your anthem goes "baaa ... baaa ... baaa."
So why in God's good name would any human being wish to force unarmed helplessness on another? That level of cruel indecency and forced victimization is incomprehensible to me and about 100 million Americans who own guns and believe in self-defense. The lunatic-fringe left won't dare touch the issue of gun control. Self-defense is the most powerful, driving instinct in good people everywhere. To deny this is evil personified.
Write this down: Gun-free zones are a felon's playground. Ban gun-free zones now. Join the NRA.
Good people don't want the rapist to succeed. We want him dead. We don't want our homes invaded. We want invaders dead. We don't like carjackers. We like them dead. We don't like armed robbers. We like them dead.  We have examined all the evidence we could possibly need to know that calling 911 is a joke unless, of course, the cops bring a dustpan and a mop to clean up the dead monster we just shot while protecting our families.
The choice is clear: Gun control as forced by the Chuck Schumers and Michael Bloombergs of the world is complicit in every violent crime committed. Conversely, gun control a la Ted Nugent is putting the second shot through the same hole as the first shot, where innocent lives are saved and recidivistic maggots come to a screeching halt, felled by the lovely ballet of good over evil we call the "Double Tap Center Mass Boogie." Learn it, know it, love it, shoot it. Good guys should live, bad guys, not so much.
It is reassuring and ultimately convenient that fresh from escaping the scourge of tyranny and slavery of kings and emperors, our brilliant, sensible Founding Fathers knew it was important to write down the self-evident truth that the right to self-defense is surely a God-given individual right to keep and bear arms.
Write this down, too: "To keep" means it is mine, you can't have it. "Bear" means I've got mine right here on me. "Shall not be infringed" echoes that beautiful "Don't Tread on Me" chorus. Sing it.
I like the U.S. Constitution and our sacred Bill Of Rights, but quite frankly, I don't really need them to know in my heart and soul the list of self-evident truths therein. Those came from thinking, common-sense men who refused to be helpless, dependent slaves to anyone or anything. Those truths are all burned forever into my soul. I live them, no matter what.
Meanwhile, in order to stop the drowning and murders, I will work on banning water; President Obama can try to ban guns. Good luck. Save an innocent life, join the NRA and celebrate 139 years of keeping and bearing. Drive a bad guy nuts. Then shoot him.
Ted Nugent is an unstoppable American rock 'n' roll, sporting and political-activist icon. Author of "Ted, White & Blue: The Nugent Manifesto" and "God, Guns & Rock 'N' Roll" (Regnery Publishing), he serves in the NRA board of directors.
