The State Of The 'Onion' Show
    Hell, anyone who has kept a checking account, a credit card account can 'look out the window' and tell 'The State of the Union!!'  We know that the "Clown Prince" is in FULL CAMPAIGN MODE--as noted by his 'Arizona Tragic Memorial Pep Rally--and will give the impression that he's 'leaning right,' willing to work the enemy, without punishing them too badly!!
    I expect that all the blather--if not bad--will be 'splenda-coated;' just a syrupy rehash of what we have all experienced.  I'd like to see the ten-or-twelve networks and major stations, decide who should actually broadcast the 'show' and leave the rest of us to regular programming!!
    My interest is in the republicRATic response-to be given by Rep Paul Ryan (r, Wi-1).  Mr Ryan appears to be a true fiscal guru; truthful on the economy-no matter who's offended.  I found an interesting article wherein both Rep Ryan and the author Peter Orszag defend their individual positions-VERY INTERESTING!!

New information has come to the fore that explains in detail why President Obama simply does not want to show his birth certificate. The controversy has to do with the idea that the President’s legal name on his birth certificate is Barry Soetoro not Barrack Obama. It also has to do with the idea that all kinds of white lies may have been on his college transcripts so he could qualify for student aide as a foreign student under the name Barry Soetoro. This is a story about potential fraud on a grand scale which is why the President does not want to show his birth certificate.
    Recently, the newly elected governor of Hawaii Neil Abercrombie ran on a platform of proving once and for all that Obama’s birth certificate was legitimate and that he would show it for all to see. It turns out now that Abercrombie is weaseling out and has even suggested that the birth certificate cannot be found. Do you have any idea of the importance of this statement? The state of Hawaii now says it cannot find the birth certificate of president of the United States. Who exactly is it we have holding that office?
