The Sunday 'Report;' 02/06/2011

What The National Pamphleteers Don't Report
The NFL really get's 'their panties in a knot' if anyone uses these two words, conjoined in a phrase, sentence, question or exclamation: the word 'super' and the word 'bowl.'  So I just alter the term to:  'The Superbowel' or 'The Stupidbowl.'
As for 'the big game,' I think I'm going with the Green Bay Packers over the Pittsburgh Steelers (35-31).  Why?  Purely fanciful;  Ben has two rings, Aaron has zip rings.  Aaron is a clean-cut guy; Ben is one of the NFL's most profound assaultists among the young ladies!

Democrats plan weeklong advertising blitz against Rep. Ann Marie Buerkle

Published: Monday, January 31, 2011
By Mark Weiner / The Post-Standard
U.S. Rep. Ann Marie Buerkle has attracted the attention of national Democrats who see her as vulnerable in 2012.
Washington -- Democrats on Monday launched an ad campaign against U.S. Rep. Ann Marie Buerkle, less than a month after she took office following one of the closest House races in the nation.  The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in Washington, D.C., began airing a series of radio and Web ads across Central New York. The campaign includes live and automated telephone calls and emails.  Buerkle is among 19 [....]

Obama pals provoked Egypt chaos
Published by Chimera on 2011/2/3

JERUSALEM – Months before protests erupted throughout Egypt aimed at toppling the regime of President Hosni Mubarak, "Clown Prince" obama's own associates provoked anti-regime chaos on the streets of the now embattled Middle East country and longtime U.S. ally.
Egypt has accused the obama regime of championing the protests and of pressuring Mubarak to resign. The main opposition group, the Muslim Brotherhood, stands to gain a major foothold in the region as a result.  Yesterday, hundreds were wounded and at least one person was killed as thousands of Mubarak supporters clashed with anti-government protesters in Cairo, with some throwing petrol bombs, wielding sticks and charging on horses and camels.  A similar scene unfolded in January 2010, when obama associates provoked chaos in Egypt in an attempt to enter the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip to join in solidarity with the territory's population and leadership.
WND reported at the time those protests were led by former Weather Underground terrorists William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrnclose Obama associates for yearsAnother protest leader was Jodie Evans, co-founder of [....]

Fed Passes China in Treasury Holdings

The Federal Reserve has surpassed China as the leading holder of US Treasury securities even though it has yet to reach the halfway mark in its latest round of quantitative easing, according to official figures.
Based on weekly data released on Thursday, the New York Fed’s holdings of Treasuries in its System Open Market Account, known as Soma (Soros-obama?!?), total $1,108bn, made up of bills, notes, bonds and Treasury Inflation Protected Securities, or Tips.  According to the most recent US Treasury data on foreign holders of US [....]

obama 'Socialist Policies' Cause Foreclosures
The following story is produced in partnership with The Dylan Ratigan Show's week long "No Way To Live" series on the financial crisis and its impact on ordinary Americans, and in collaboration with Meetup.com, which is hosting HuffPost Mortgage Modification Madness Meetups across the country, where homeowners can meet others who've had similar difficulties with lenders.
After nine months of dutifully making lowered mortgage payments under the Obama administration's foreclosure-prevention program, Bea and Terry Garwood of Pinckney, Mich., are all set to move out. Despite the promise of relief, they are losing to foreclosure the two-story house that has been their family home since 1994. They say the administration's initiative has effectively pushed them out the door.
The Garwoods are among nearly 800,000 American households that have managed to enroll in the program before failing to secure permanently lowered monthly payments. Their experience underscores why many housing experts and lawmakers have proclaimed the effort a failure. Though President Barack Obama promised it would help three to four million homeowners avoid foreclosure, only 522,000 had successfully secured so-called permanent loan modifications by the end of last year, according to the Treasury Department.
More homeowners have actually been bounced from the program than have been helped, the data show. Despite widespread anticipation that foreclosures will only accelerate in 2011, breaking a record set last year, the number of new borrowers entering the program [....]

From 'Great Apologizer' To 'Great Communicator #2?'
By Michael Scherer and Michael Duffy Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011    In May 2010, barack obama invited a small group of presidential historians to 'barack-ingham Palace' for a working supper in the Family Dining Room. It was the second time he'd had the group in since taking office, and as he sat down across the table from his wife Michelle- 'The Moocher', the "Clown Prince" pressed his guests for lessons from his predecessors. But as the conversation progressed, it became clear to several in the room that obama seemed less interested in talking about Lincoln's team of rivals or Kennedy's Camelot than the accomplishments of an amiable conservative named Ronald Reagan, who had sparked a revolution three [....]

Ronald Reagan 100 years:

Ronald Reagan served as the 40th President of the United States. The actor turned politician was born in Tampico, Illinois on February 6, 1911and passed away on June 5, 2004. Ronaldus-Magnus-"The Speech!"
Program Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, we take pride in presenting a thoughtful address by Ronald Reagan. Mr. Reagan:

Reagan: Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you and good evening. The sponsor has been identified, but unlike most television programs, the performer hasn't been provided with a script. As a matter of fact, I have been permitted to choose my own words and discuss my own ideas regarding the choice that we face in the next few weeks.
I have spent most of my life as a Democrat. I recently have seen fit to follow another course. I believe that the issues confronting us cross party lines. Now, one side in this campaign has been telling us that the issues of this election are the maintenance of peace and prosperity. The line has been used, "We've never had it so good."
But I have an uncomfortable feeling that this prosperity isn't something on which we can base our hopes for the future. No nation in history has ever survived a tax burden that reached a third of its national income. Today, 37 cents out of every dollar earned in this country is the tax collector's share, and yet our government continues to spend 17 million dollars a day more [....]
(Blogger Note:  This speech, entitled: "A Time For Choosing," has long been held as President Ronald Reagan's finest speech-made in support of Barry Goldwater's presidential candidacy {Air date 27 October 1964, Los Angeles, CA}.)

Ronaldus-Magnus; Memorable Quotes:
"You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We'll preserve for our children this, the last, best hope of man on Earth, or we'll sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness." -- 1964 Republican National Convention, Oct. 27, 1964

"Our people look for a cause to believe in. Is it a third party we need, or is it a new and revitalized second party, raising a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors which make it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues troubling the people?" -- Second Annual CPAC Convention, March 1, 1975

"It is no coincidence that our present troubles parallel and are proportionate to the intervention and intrusion in our lives that result from unnecessary and excessive growth of government. It is time for us to realize that we are too great a nation to limit ourselves to small dreams. We are not, as some would have us believe, doomed to an inevitable decline. I do not believe in a fate that will fall on us no matter what we do. I do believe in a fate that will fall on us if we do nothing. So, with all the creative energy at our command, let us begin an era of national renewal. Let us renew our determination, our courage and our strength. And let us renew our faith and our hope." -- First inaugural address, Jan. 20, 1981
"Let it be said of us that we, too, did not fail; that we, too, worked together to bring America through difficult times. Let us so conduct ourselves that two centuries from now, another Congress and another president, meeting in this chamber as we're meeting, will speak of us with pride, saying that we met the test and preserved for them in their day the sacred flame of liberty this last, best hope of man on Earth." -- State of the Union address, Jan. 26, 1982

"The men of Normandy had faith that what they were doing was right, faith that they fought for all humanity, faith that a just God would grant them mercy on this beachhead or on the next. It was the deep knowledge -- and pray God we have not lost it -- that there is a profound moral difference between the use of force for liberation and the use of force for conquest. You were here to liberate, not to conquer, and so you and those others did not doubt your cause. And you were right not to doubt." -- The 40th anniversary of the Normandy invasion, June 6, 1984

Ronaldus-Magnus; 'One Liners'
  1. How do you tell  a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin.
  2. Entrepreneurs and their small enterprises are responsible for almost all the economic growth in the United States.
  3. Coersion, after all, merely captures man. Freedom captivates him.
  4. All great change in America begins at the dinner table.
  5. Abortion is advocated only by persons who have themselves been born.

Another 'Note'
Even as he consults presidential historians to remake his image-it must be noted that while "Clown Prince" obama aspires to be the next Ronald Reagan, he'll never be so much as a 'pimple on the ass' of The Great Ronaldus-Magnus!!

Til Next Sunday....
