The City of Rochester (N.Y.,) is already making a veritable fortune off those who can least afford the charges. They stand to make skads more!! The city has cameras installed at twelve intersections and plans to install up to a total of fifty (50!) cameras! Run one of these lights and you'll owe the city fifty-bucks; don't pay it in thirty-days, they add a 50% surcharge, for a total of $75.00!!
The cameras are located at the following intersections:
Goodman Street at I-490
State Street and Allen Street
West Avenue and Ames Street
West Main Street and Brown/Genesee Street
691 Saint Paul Street (pedestrian crossing)
North Clinton Avenue and Alexander Street
North Clinton Avenue and Norton Street
Broadway Street and Andrews Street
State Street and Jay Street
East Avenue and Culver Road
Dewey Avenue and Ridgeway Avenue
