'pinky' reid: Save The 'Junk Mail!'
    'pinky' reid--in his infinite wisdom--wants to keep the United States  Postal Service just as it is, so senior citizens have junk mail to read and as a form of communication:
"Elderly American rely on the United States Postal Service....  I'll come home to my home here in Washington and there will be some mail there.  A lot of it is what some people refer to as junk mail.  But for the people that are sending that mail, it's very important.  And, talking about seniors--Seniors LOVE to get junk mail.  It's somteimes they only way of communicating or feeling they're part of the real world."
Last year the Nevada Dunce wanted to keep the 'National Endowment for the Humanities' and the 'National Endowment for the Arts' in the then-current federal budget proposal.  'pinky' said this about that:
"The mean-spirited bill, H.R. 1.... eliminates the National Endowment of the Humanities, National Endowment of the Arts.  These programs create jobs.  The national endowment of the Humanities is the reason we have in northern Nevada every January a cowboy poetry festival.  Had that program not been around, the tens of thousands of people who come there every year would not exist."
Last year again--around the same time--His 'pinkness' advocated eliminating hundreds--if not thousands--of jobs in Nevada.  The 'Prince of Pink'--in addressing the Nevada state legislature--advocating the elimination of LEGAL prostitution:
"The time has come for us to outlaw prostitution."
"....one of the businessmen in that meeting [considering moving a tech company to Storey County] told me he simply couldn't believe that one of the biggest businesses in the county.... is legal prostitution.  I've talked to families who feel the same way--parents who don't want their children to look out of a school bus and see a brothel, or live in a state with the wrong kind of red lights."
    Excepting "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist," can you imagine anyone in the federal government more out-of-touch with the American people than harry "pinky" reid?!?  I am a 'senior' and I deplore 'junk mail!!'  Said mail immediately finds it's way to the recycle box.  Almost all 'seniors' I know feel the same way.  Communications?!?  Come-ON, 'pinky,' REALLY?!?
    Can anyone agree with 'pinky,' that we actually need a Cowboy Poetry Fesitival in these times of owe-bamacRATically generated financial distress?!?
    Prostitution has been legal in most Nevada counties for decades.  The way 'pinky' reid spends "other people's money" it's understandable that he's not considered the millions in tax- and fee-revenue prostitution generates.  Not only the financial aspect, he's also not considered the public safety, public health and control aspects of legalized prostitution.
Not only is 'pinky' reid out of touch with the American public; he's out of touch with REALITY!!
