"Clown Prince" obama and his stooges--hand-picked by the obama Handler Group--continue to "show their ass" at every opportunity!! In an attempt to wade through the obama lies, we must assume that the regime's position on border security is NO border security!! The border fencing and walls still await completion, making illegal alien control and border security doubly dangerous; doubly ineffective.
What can be the possible reason[s] that the "Clown Prince" demands the southern border remain as porous as it's been these recent years??
- A) Whomever 'selected' obama to be 'elected,' demanded porous borders as a condition of selection/election or more probably,
- B) The porous borders as well as 'comprehensive' immigration reform [defined as: AMNESTY!!] will insure a fascist dynasty far into the future!!
As usual, 'General' Holder isn't quite clear in his digestion of the facts:
The brief continues:
In a brief filed in the District of Arizona, the Department said S.B. 1070 unconstitutionally interferes with the federal government’s authority to set and enforce immigration policy................. Having enacted its own immigration policy that conflicts with federal immigration law, Arizona “crossed a constitutional line.”
Sorry, 'General,' Arizona's S.B. 1070 practically mirrors the federal statute. Arizona felt the need for an immigration law at the state level that could and WOULD BE INFORCED, contrary to the federal statute.
- ...................that S.B. 1070 will place significant burdens on federal agencies, diverting their resources away from high-priority targets, such as aliens implicated in terrorism, drug smuggling, blah, blah, blah.
- ...................will also result in the harassment and detention of foreign visitors and legal immigrants...........who cannot readily prove their lawful status.
Had you both read it, you'd both know that any request to prove nationality MUST BE SUBSEQUENT to a traffic or criminal stop, NOT just to harass the citizenry.
The brief continues:
- “Arizonans are understandably frustrated with illegal immigration, and the federal government has a responsibility to comprehensively address those concerns,” 'General' Holder said. “But diverting federal resources away from dangerous aliens such as terrorism suspects and aliens with criminal records will impact the entire country’s safety. Setting immigration policy and enforcing immigration laws is a national responsibility.............
- “Arizona impermissibly seeks to regulate immigration by creating an Arizona-specific immigration policy that is expressly designed to rival or supplant that of the federal government. As such, Arizona’s immigration policy exceeds a state’s role with respect to aliens, interferes with the federal government’s balanced administration of the immigration laws,............
I contend 'General,' there IS NO "administration of the immigration laws," BALANCED OR OTHERWISE!!
Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas), the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, and 19 other Republicans in the House sent a letter to 'General' Holder today saying that the suit against Arizona's law "reflects the height of irresponsibility and arrogance [quoted, in part]."
"Arizona has taken a reasonable, constitutional approach to dealing with a problem that has been ignored by the Obama Administration," the letter says. "This lawsuit reveals the Obama Administration's contempt for immigration laws and the people of Arizona. It reveals contempt for the majority of the American people who support Arizona's efforts to reduce human smuggling, drug trafficking and illegal immigration."
Arizona's Republican Sens. Jon Kyl and John McCain [the Great Apologizer] said in a statement today:
- It is "far too premature" for the administration to challenge the law, since it has yet to be enforced.
- "Moreover, the American people must wonder whether the obama Regime is really committed to securing the border when it sues a state that is simply trying to protect its people by enforcing immigration law," they said. " 'General' Holder speaks of the 'federal government's responsibility' to enforce immigration laws; but what are the people of Arizona left to do when the federal government fails in its responsibility?"
- The administration should not sue the state for taking action until the federal government has done everything in its power to protect people from violence and crime related to illegal immigration.
Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell made this statement:
"Suing the people of Arizona for attempting to do a job the federal government has utterly failed to execute will not help secure our borders. If the president wants to make real progress on this issue, he can do so by taking amnesty off the table and focus his efforts on border and interior security."
Siding with his fellow Arizona obamacRATs Reps. Ann Kirkpatrick and Gabrielle Giffords, Rep Harry Mitchell made the following statement:
"Illegal immigration didn't occur overnight, and the situation cannot wait simply because folks choose to play politics," Mitchell said in his statement. "While the President acknowledged last week that Arizonans are justifiably fed up with inaction, filing a lawsuit is counterproductive to his statements of appealing to the American people's highest ideals to create a sensible and workable immigration policy. Arizonans are tired of the grandstanding."
