Can I Be A Slave....?!?
    Of course it's "all about the money," which is why Adrian Peterson's comments are oxymoronic, at best!!  (Mr Peterson is on track to 'earn' $10.72million if the 2011 NFL season actually happens. (All that money-just to play a game!!) A couple of quotes from Mr Peterson:

• "[....] Hey--without us, there's no football." 
• "It's modern-day slavery, you know?" [....]
• [....] "....the players are getting robbed.  They are.  The owners are making so much money off us to begin with. [....]"

    Come on, Adrian!!! Really--slavery?!?  Nearly eleven million bucks for sixteen games?!?  That ain't chump-change ($670,000 per game; which equals $670,000 per 'game-clock' hour; $11,167 per 'game-clock' minute; $186 per 'game-clock' SECOND)!!  I stand corrected!!  It ain't about the money; it's all about the GREED, on both sides!!
    Adrian really needs a 'reality check!'  Here it is:  Without a stadium to play in; without a predetermined schedule, there's no football!!  The NFL Owners don't need 'name-brand' players to make a game!!  They can just hire 'off-the-street.'  For the fans-it's all about the competition, very little about the current crop of prima donnas !!
   This begs one question-has Adrian Peterson been studying under 'General' Holder (of....my people....fame)?!?
