"Clown Prince" Weekly Blather; March 31st

A Patriotic Response To The "Clown Prince;" 03/31/2012

Over the last few months, I’ve been talking about a choice we face as a country. We can either settle for an economy where a few people do really well and everyone else struggles to get by, or we can build an economy where hard work pays off again – where everyone gets a fair shot, everyone does their fair share, and everyone plays by the same rules. That’s up to us.  Today, I want to talk to you about the idea that everyone in this country should do their fair share.  Now, if this were a perfect world, we’d have unlimited resources. No one would ever have to pay any taxes, and we could spend as much as we wanted. But we live in the real world. We don’t have unlimited resources. We have a deficit that needs to be paid down. And we also have to pay for investments that will help our economy grow and keep our country safe: education, research and technology, a strong military, and retirement programs like Medicare and Social Security.  That means we have to make choices. When it comes to paying down the deficit and investing in our future, should we ask middle-class Americans to pay even more at a time when their budgets are already stretched to the breaking point? Or should we ask some of the wealthiest Americans to pay their fair share?
[What I'm not telling you:  Here I go again!!  On-and-on with my wealth re-distribution schemes.  Some Americans are too rich!!  Some Americans are too poor!!  To that end, those evil rich Americans must be made to fund the wants (not the NEEDS) of the poor.  Discussing those in the poorer--serf--class is distressing to me, on two counts.  First, the mere fact that there is an American 'serf class' is primarily a function of the federal government; secondarily a function of the lack of drive; the lack of self-esteem; the lack of desire, of those participating in life as serfs.
Society's "do-gooders" may or may not have had the public's best interests at heart when the federal mindset of the 1950s and early '60s was slowly transformed into the basis of Lyndon Johnson's "Great Society" of the mid-1960s.  What had started as a plan to end racial and economic segregation, to end housing and employment discrimination; evolved into what it is today:  Programs that continue a mindset that 'the government' will take care of those who can't--or won't--work; that the federal government exists solely to pass out "owe-bama money!!"  The "Great Society" came along at exactly the wrong time; America's booming post-WWII economy was winding down although the economic slowdown had yet to be felt by the majority of Americans.  In anticipation, President Kennedy had reduced the top marginal tax rate from 91% to 71%!!  This caused a 10% increase in GDP, IMMEDIATELY; a 15% increase in personal disposible income in 1966, ALONE!!  The current crop of socio-fascists forget these statistics, preferring to continue--across-the-board--wealth re-distribution, no matter the affects on the general economy, on the national mindset.
Those evil rich guys--and gals--I continue to vilify by-and-large, are only rich on paper.  The vast majority are on the lower rungs of the rich 'ladder;' having most of their wealth invested in plant-and-equipment; making products for the American public; employing--by a huge percentage--the largest number of Americans.  You'll note though, that I use Warren Buffett and Bill Gates--the uber-rich--as examples that you should associate with all those I consider the evil rich!  There is no other way to say it: this is class-warfare; pitting the middleclass against those evil rich guys!!  While using both Buffett and Gates as my 'poster guys' for the evil rich, I intentionally leave out 'big' Hollywood, 'big' football, 'big' basketball, 'big' baseball, 'big' social-networking, 'big' internet, 'big' college coaches, practically anyone 'big' who just--coincidentally--happens to be an owe-bama supporter, an owe-bama donor!!  How cleaver is that?!?
For example if we were to include--say--'big' baseball in our vilification efforts:  In 2010, the total league payroll surpassed $2,725,000,000!! That's nearly THREE-BILLION-DOLLARS, which only increases each--and every--year.  If the socialists are going to denegrate the country's 'producers'  we may just as well start with sports and continue on to Hollywood, the internet, social networking, et al!!  Much like the visual effects of oil drilling:  Everyone wants more-and-more access to fossil fuels, but no one wants an oil derrick in their back yard!  The same with taxation: everyone wants 'the other guy' taxed out of existence, but "leave my money alone!!"
The deficit.  Oh, how I love deficit spending!!  I get to piss-away billions-upon-billions and never have any ill affects, either financially or personally or politically!!  The 'pot-of-gold' will never be emptied, so long as China has funds to loan!!  I make all the appropiate 'noises' about the necessity of paying down the existing deficit--meanwhile--overspending every known 'yardstick' in existance!!  I'd never consider reducing the federal budget--IF the socio-fascist majority in the Senate EVER approves one--there's far too many supporters and donors who deserve continuing bribes!!
Sorry folks!  I kinda got sidetracked over to that blather about professional baseball. Again, sorry!  The "Great Society" and the myriad of other socio-fascist programs have been wildly successful.  The majority of Americans are--finally, under my rule--"riding in the wagon!"  52% are 'riders' while 46% are hard-working, wagon-PULLERS!!  So long as we can maintain this ratio, the socio-fascist will be the default American ruler for generations to come.  The only thing that can stop us:  A total economic collapse when the 46% FINALLY realize they're essentially "workin' for nuthin'!!"
When the American voter finally wakes up and replaces the majority--if not all--of the socio-fascists in government; the economy will begin to recover, the jobs market will begin to recover, et al.  To that end, a question:
Will the new political majority in office finally alter the meaning of 'American Freedom?!?'  During the revolution a rallying cry was "No Taxation Without Representation!"  I contend that those evil republicRATics will--SHOULD--alter that phrase--just a lil' bit--to read: "No Representation Without Taxation!"  And, rightfully so.  Without 'skin-in-the-game' what keeps the 'wagon-riders' from continuing to vote themselves a raise--much like any bureaucrat--with no actual work to earn their "owe-bama money!" A 10% tax on all UNEARNED benefits would not be out of the question!!  Everyone feels better when they contribute to the total effort.]
That’s the choice. Over the last decade, we’ve spent hundreds of billions of dollars on what was supposed to be a temporary tax cut for the wealthiest two percent of Americans. Now we’re scheduled to spend almost a trillion more. Today, the wealthiest Americans are paying taxes at one of the lowest rates in 50 years. Warren Buffett is paying a lower rate than his secretary. Meanwhile, over the last 30 years, the tax rates for middle class families have barely budged.  That’s not fair. It doesn’t make any sense. Do we want to keep giving tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans like me, or Warren Buffett, or Bill Gates – people who don’t need them and never asked for them? Or do we want to keep investing in things that will grow our economy and keep us secure? Because we can’t afford to do both.  Now, some people call this class warfare. But I think asking a billionaire to pay at least the same tax rate as his secretary is just common sense. We don’t envy success in this country. We aspire to it. But we also believe that anyone who does well for themselves should do their fair share in return, so that more people have the opportunity to get ahead – not just a few.  That’s the America I believe in. And in the next few weeks, Members of Congress will get a chance to show you where they stand. Congress is going to vote on what’s called the Buffett Rule: If you make more than $1 million a year, you should pay at least the same percentage of your income in taxes as middle class families do. On the other hand, if you make under $250,000 a year – like 98 percent of American families do – your taxes shouldn’t go up. You’re the ones struggling with the rising cost of everything from college tuition to groceries. You’re the ones who deserve a break.
[What I'm not telling you:  Why do socio-fascists--like myself, your exalted ruler--continue to denegrate the concept of 'enjoying the fruits of your labor?!?' It would seem that if we--as socio-fascists--truly want to see wealth re-distribution, we should do it ourselves, with voluntary checks to the national treasury.  But.... do we?!?  Not no but HELL NO!!  Much like the oil derrick analogy, "don't touch my money!!"  We expect everyone in the country to fund our grandiose ideas of economic and social Utopia!!
As for taxation in general, the more money the public is allowed to keep, the more money is invested.  Said investment goes to fund industries which hire and retain workers for the betterment of the entire American society no matter the level.  On the other hand, the more money the public is allowed to keep, the less that's confuscated through taxation.  The end result--to we socio-fascists--is the less we confuscate via taxation, the less power we have over society in general!  The socio-fascist mindset is all about power and control
During my vilifications, I--as your exalted ruler--NEVER blather "apples versus apples,"  it's always "apples versus oranges!"  Those evil rich: Warren Buffett, Bill Gates.... even Mitt Romney, receive the vast majority of their income as 'capital gains' NOT earned income!  Warren Buffett--for instance--only receives $100,000 in annual salary; the remaining--the vast majority--of his income comes as 'capital gains;' the result of his--and his companies'--investments.  The average middleclass worker--NON-wagon rider--doesn't have the investments necessary to produce more income than his level of EARNED income!  Most--if not all--of Mitt Romney's personal income comes from investments he made in those evil companies he worked for, plus the family trusts he and his wife set up to insure their family's financial future.  Wise investments, all!!
The 'congressional vote.'  My re-immaculation campaign is based solely on a 'do-nothing CONGRESS.'  I can't use the republicRATics as a campaign topic; said party members are more-than-willing to vote on various pieces of legislation where 'pinky' reid just ignores those that don't meet his socio-fascist requirements!   I can't use my party--the owe-bamacRATics--in my campaign; they do little more than pass wealth re-distributive legislation.  The voting public--the NON-wagon riders--are seeing through that ploy; they want no more of it!!   My socio-fascists will find this 'Congress showing us where they stand' to be detrimental to our objectives.  By recording their votes against socio-fascist legislation, the Congress will indicate to the voting public just who is in support of logical, sensible legislation for the majority's benefit.]
So every Member of Congress is going to go on record. And if they vote to keep giving tax breaks to people like me – tax breaks our country can’t afford – then they’re going to have to explain to you where that money comes from. Either it’s going to add to our deficit, or it’s going to come out of your pocket. Seniors will have to pay more for their Medicare benefits. Students will see their interest rates go up at a time when they can’t afford it. Families who are scraping by will have to do more because the richest Americans are doing less.  That’s not right. That’s not who we are. In America, our story has never been about what we can do by ourselves – it’s about what we can do together. It’s about believing in our future and the future of this country. So tell your Members of Congress to do the right thing. Call them up, write them a letter, pay them a visit, and tell them to stop giving tax breaks to people who don’t need them and start investing in the things that will help our economy grow and put people back to work.
[What I'm not telling you:  The country--the federal budget--could easily afford to keep the tax rates just as they are, with just one alteration:
Stop Excessive--Deficit--Spending!!
The seniors have to pay more for their Medicare benefits because owe-bamaKare raided their funds by 500 BILLION DOLLARS!!
The students--as ingrained by foolish socio-fascist doctrine of entitlement--demand that their education come immediately, no matter the cost to their parents; no matter the future cost of interest and inflation!!
A change in tax rates--The Buffett Rule--will have little positive affect on the middleclass!!  Those evil rich who are affected by my rule change will just do less, economically; do less financially, until the federal government comes to it's senses and realizes that there's a limit to what any American will tolerate, no matter the subject!!
Oh.... BTW:  I--conveniently--forgot to mention:  Starting April Fools Day--TOMORROW--new EPA regulations will effectively STRANGLE coal-fired power plants!!  You remember the EPA, right?!?  Those unelected, unsupervised, uncontrolled, out-of-control bureaucRATs whose sole purpose-in-life is to make the American citizen miserable in the name of the 'global-warming scam, SHAM!!  Enjoy paying your future utility bills, as well as mine in barackingham Palace!!]
