This'n'That; March Thirtieth #2; George Washington

George Washington Refused To Be 'King!'
Early on, the framers of the Constitution wanted George Washington to be the head of state of the United States.  As such, they wanted said head-of-state to be 'King of America.'  After Mr Washington refused the 'kingship,' it was determined he would be president with a definite term of office.
George Washington was the only U.S. President in history to have been unanimously elected to office.
George Washington--while too poor to fund his trip to his inauguration--refused to accept the presidential $25,000 annual salary.
Look what Mr Washington gave up:  Said $25,000 would equal $316,325.12 in 2010's purchasing power!!
Anyone confused enough to think "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist" would refuse any of the above:  the 'kingship' or the purchasing power of $316,325?!?  owe-bama certainly had enough money to get from Tony Resko's house in Chicago to barackingham Palace!!
'Splain to me again why YOU elected this Arschloch!?!
Til Nex'Time....
