This'n'That; August 6th[Bullshit;Rat;FluffyCare]

More democRAT Bullshit!
[For several years, the democRATs in the congress and later, the democRAT majority in congress, have continually forced both Fannie and Freddie to invest in questionable assets; effectively destroying their asset base and profit potential. Now obama and ACORN are gonna "fix it??" Yea....RIGHT!! When they both have "healthy balance sheets" the democRATs can RE-destroy their potential!!]
The White House is considering a plan that would strip hundreds of billions of dollars in troubled assets from Fannie Mae (FNM) and Freddie Mac (FRE). The assets would be placed in a government-backed 'bad bank,' leaving Fannie and Freddie with healthy balance sheets while the 'bad bank' would try to collect as much of the outstanding loan balances as possible. A White House spokesman said "it should come as no surprise that the administration is thinking through [government-sponsored enterprises] reform," but no final decisions have been made.
Fluffy Wants You To "Rat On Your Neighbor!"
If government-run health care is all that and a bag of chips, then those in congress who vote for it should have no problem having it as their insurance. Go here to sign a petition by Congressmen John Fleming asking that they do just that: http://fleming.house.gov/index.html
Why Read The "obamaCare" Bill??
[I found this while searching for the actual text of the obamaCare; FluffyCare; ACORN-Care, what'ta Hell ever the final title will be!! QUITE REVEALING!! To see the entire bill- http://edlabor.house.gov/documents/111/pdf/publications/AAHCA-Bill ] Why read the health care bill ? July 29, 12:42 PMLouisville City Hall ExaminerThomas McAdam The 1000-page health care legislation pending in congress will dramatically affect every man, woman, and child in this country; and yet, no one seems to be willing to read the damn thing. In a recent examiner.com article, we posited a rhetorical question: “What sort of sycophantic political hack would vote for a major piece of legislation without reading it first?” Sadly, the answer to this question seems to include most of the mainstream media and the entire Democrat party. Previously, we reported that Louisville’s congressman, John Yarmuth (D., 3rd Dist., Ky.), admitted to voting in favor of legislation he hadn’t read. And we quoted President Obama as confessing that he was “not familiar” with the pending health care legislation. Is it too much to suggest that leaders who vote on bills they haven’t read and don’t understand betray the people’s trust? And now, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee advises us that reading the most important bill pending in congress is pretty much a waste of time. During his speech at a National Press Club luncheon, representative John Conyers (D., Mich.) questioned the point of lawmakers reading the health care bill. “I love these members, they get up and say, ‘Read the bill,’” said Conyers. “What good is reading the bill if it’s a thousand pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?” Well, a lot of folks are taking the time to actually read this important piece of legislation. Alan Caruba, who writes for a number of web magazines, and blogs at Warning Signs, is one. In a piece titled “Page after Page of Reasons to Hate Obamacare,” he lists some scary provisions gleaned from America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009:
  • Page 22: Mandates audits of all employers that self-insure! • Page 29: Admission: your health care will be rationed! • Page 30: A government committee will decide what treatments and benefits you get (and, unlike an insurer, there will be no appeals process) • Page 50: All non-US citizens, illegal or not, will be provided with free healthcare services. • Page 95: The Government will pay ACORN and Americorps to sign up individuals for Government-run Health Care plan. • Page 102: Those eligible for Medicaid will be automatically enrolled: you have no choice in the matter. • Page 167: Any individual who doesn’t have acceptable healthcare (according to the government) will be taxed 2.5% of income. • Page 203: "The tax imposed under this section shall not be treated as tax." Yes, it really says that. • Page 335: Government mandates establishment of outcome-based measures: i.e., rationing. • Page 425: More bureaucracy: Advance Care Planning Consult: Senior Citizens, assisted suicide, euthanasia? • Page 425: Government provides approved list of end-of-life resources, guiding you in death. • Page 427: Government mandates program that orders end-of-life treatment; government dictates how your life ends. • Page 430: Government will decide what level of treatments you may have at end-of-life.
Thus far, the proposed legislation makes no mention of Soylent Green, but congress still has some tinkering to do before the final product is ready for President Obama’s signature; after which, he might even read it.
Til Nex'Time....
