This'n'That; April 1st[Drilling;ForeignAid;Quotes]

An "April Fool's" Joke?
Is the "Clown Prince" yet again 'playing the fool?'  That very well could be; with his sudden about-turn on offshore oil drilling.  Chances are very good though, that he's just aligning those fallen-away voters back into his "herd of sheep!!"  With his dis-approval rating at an unprecendented 50%, he has to do something--anything--to keep the KoolAid drinkers in line!!
"We're announcing the expansion of offshore oil and gas exploration but in ways that balance the need to harness domestic energy resources and the need to protect America's natural resources," obama said, according to his prepared remarks released in advance by the White House. "This announcement is part of a broader strategy that will move us from an economy that runs on fossil fuels and foreign oil to one that relies more on homegrown fuels and clean energy. And the only way this transition will succeed is if it strengthens our economy in the short term and long term."
Some Leaders "Get it!"
[As opposed to Fluffy obama and his congressional fascists, some international leaders 'get it!!'  Government dependency is proven over and again, to be detrimental for everyone except the politicians buying those dependent votes.]
Nelson Mandela’s wife says decreased aid to Africa due to the global recession could be a good thing for the continent.
Former Mozambican first lady Graca Machel told The Associated Press Wednesday that less foreign funding will force African governments to mobilize resources internally, reducing dependence on external support.
“If we are clever enough, and we are responsible enough… it’s time… to rely more and more on our own resourcefulness and the ability to engage our own people,” Machel said.
Machel advocated for industrialization and regional integration on the continent as an approach to developing a “win-win” situation for African countries and their trading partners.

A REAL College Graduate?
I found these quotes from Dez Bryant, a GRADUATE of Oklahoma State University.  This guy obviously WAS NOT an english major!!  [These quotes are from a recent interview with an AP reporter.]
“I ain’t never got in trouble with nobody. I never said anything."
"I don’t say anything wrong to nobody. I’m friendly."
“What do this got to do with me playing football?"
"Even if I did forget my cleats, what do that have to do with me playing football?"
“I haven’t did anything wrong to nobody.”
“Just because I’ve experienced bad things, that don’t make me no bad person. That don’t make my mom a bad person."
Til Nex'Time....
