At Least Be HONEST!

All the political 'mouthpieces' in Washington are touting Robert Byrd as an "ambitious protector of the Constitution...."  At the very least his peers could be honest 'for a change!'  If the guy was such a 'protector,' why--for the last fourteen months--did he enable the current regime's trashing nearly every tenet of that document??

Second Amendment Defined By "Supremes"

    Justice Samuel Alito, joined by Chief Justice John Roberts, Justices Anton Scalia and  Anthony Kennedy as the majority, defined the Second Amendment to mean that it's protections applies primarily to individuals rather than the commie-libs 'well regulated militia,' meaning the national guard units of the various states.

    This puts the residents of Monroe County [Rochester area], New York in a quandry.  Pertaining to gun owner's rights, this is one of the most restrictive counties in the state!!  In Wayne County, our neighbor to the east, a 'pistol permit' can be had in as little as 10 days to two weeks.  In Monroe County, the SAME PROCESS takes OVER ONE YEAR to complete!!  How will this be rectified??  It probably won't be until someone with deep pockets gets really, really pissed off and sues the county government for the effective annulment of the residents' Second Amendment rights!!  We shall see...........
