This'n'That; July fifth[Statistics]

Sixties, Still Good Numbers!
Sixties  [60s], NOT the 1960s, are the good numbers.  Well, I was talking about percentages, not the 1960s which were equally as good, but in a different vein!!
  • 62% say the U.S. Constitution should be left alone.  This is a four-point drop from last year.
  • 67% of Americans say city governments do not have the right to prevent citizens from owning handguns.
  • 60% of voters nationwide favor repeal of the recently passed obamaCare, including 49% who Strongly Favor repeal.  78% of Republicans believe obamaCare will be bad, as do 66% of unaffiliated voters.
  • 64% of likely Arizona voters agree that children born to illegal immigrants should not automatically become citizens of the United States.  84% of Republicans and 58% of voters not affiliated with either major party agree.
  • 66% of Arizona voters favor their new immigration law.  Since late April when Governor Jan Brewer signed the measure into law, support for it has ranged from 64% to 71%.
  • 63% of American Adults say that the Fourth of July is one of our nation’s most important holidays.  63% will have a barbecue with friends and family.  75% will be staying home, while 20% will be traveling this holiday season.
