This'n'That; August Second #4; Duffy 'Favors'

Another "Duffy Favor!"
    Although a very well liked police chief and mayor, the current Leutenant Governor Bob Duffy did us no favors before becoming an apprentice member of 'the ruling class!'  At the time, I thought Mayor Duffy did a pretty good job-for a dam democrat.  After then governor "Client #9" (Spitzer) and Paetec Founder Arunis Chesonis (pron: Chess-own-iss) announced the 'destruction' of Midtown Plaza, Mayor Duffy presided over the start of the 'Midtown Plaza,' tear-down; Mayor Duffy presided over negotiations with Chesonis on the size and scope of the planned PAETEC world headquarters.  Mayor Duffy participated in most of the unp-teen revisions from the original 17 story tower, to a 3 story office building, to a 3-hole outhouse!! (Just kiddin' 'bout that last part!)
    Now we find that Chesonis sold the company to the Windstream Corp., of Little Rock, Arkansas for a pile'a'money! It sure looks like both Duffy AND Chesonis sold out 'the little guy;'  PAETEC's 975 employees in Perinton, NY, won't amount to "a fart in a whirlwind" when compared to Windstream's 10,100 employees!!
    Looks like Duffy bailed at the right time!!
