More "Smoke And Mirrors"
If I thought the "Campaign of Fluff" was nothing but fluff, the Presidency is getting even "Fluffier" than the campaign!!
Fluffy obama really can't be so stupid as to believe that the "work-a-day" Americans I know will swallow this latest bit of "Fluffy Math!!" Well, maybe he can be that stupid-he's just well-handled.
Fluffy has asked department heads to cut $100Mln from their budgets, W-O-W!! That's attacking the problem!! With all the big figures floating around the DC Cesspool, the taxpayer is easily deceived by the millions, billions and trillions they spend. The millions of dollars talked about today are quite similar to the thousands of dollars talked about in my day-the 1960s.
In today's vernacular, this $100Mln has as much comparative value as a bucket of warm spit!! The $100Mln The Fluffer wants cut by those several departments equals less than one two-thousandth of the current budget proposal!! That same $100Mln equals only one-seventh of the 2009 interest on the Porkulus Bill!!

Why $100Bln; Why Now?
Remember those meetings of last Wednesday.... those Tea Parties? This is The Fluffer's way of placating the masses..... using fluffy math to lull the listener into believing his fluffy motives are just!! Think about it..... "$100" is greater than "$4;" greater than "$8"........ never mind the word behind each as a multiplier!! $100MILLION is FAR LESS than $4TRILLION; is FAR LESS than $8TRILLION!! This way, Der Fluffmeister will be able to say that he's aware of the Tea Partiers' message and has done something about it-HA!! A fractional amount that WON'T EVEN REGISTER "on the Richter Scale"!! I suggest you not believe any more bovine feces emanating from the DC Cesspool!!
Ya Gotta Admire The Testicular Fortitude!
[When somebody; anybody starts seriously talking about Texas reverting to the republic they once were-I'M ON BOARD, just gimme a half-hour to pack my crap and put Miz Daisy onna trailer!! Given that most new business start-ups are in Texas; Given that the headquarters of most "Fortune 500" companies are in Texas cities-secession from the union might be the best idea yet!! No more "screwball" Fluffy socialism; No more oppressive gun control-just to name two.]
Texas Gov. Rick Perry joined a group of lawmakers Thursday in speaking out against the federal government and for a Texas House resolution [H.C.R. No. 50] that supports states' rights in the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
"I believe that our federal government has become oppressive. I believe it's become oppressive in its size, its intrusion into the lives of our citizens and its interference with the affairs of our state," Perry said.
Perry's anti-Washington remarks have been heating up lately in his race for re-election against U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, a fellow Republican.
Texas' House Concurrent Resolution Number 50
[The H.C.R. No. 50 mentioned above {verbatim}:]
CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the
United States reads as follows: "The powers not delegated to the
United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the
States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people";
and
WHEREAS, The Tenth Amendment defines the total scope of
federal power as being that specifically granted by the
Constitution of the United States and no more; and
WHEREAS, The scope of power defined by the Tenth Amendment
means that the federal government was created by the states
specifically to be an agent of the states; and
WHEREAS, Today, in 2009, the states are demonstrably treated
as agents of the federal government; and
WHEREAS, Many federal laws are directly in violation of the
Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States; and
WHEREAS, The Tenth Amendment assures that we, the people of
the United States of America and each sovereign state in the Union
of States, now have, and have always had, rights the federal
government may not usurp; and
WHEREAS, Section 4, Article IV, of the Constitution says,
"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a
Republican Form of Government," and the Ninth Amendment states that
"The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not
be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people";
and
WHEREAS, The United States Supreme Court has ruled in New
York v. United States, 112 S. Ct. 2408 (1992), that congress may not
simply commandeer the legislative and regulatory processes of the
states; and
WHEREAS, A number of proposals from previous administrations
and some now pending from the present administration and from
congress may further violate the Constitution of the United States;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas
hereby claim sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the
Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise
enumerated and granted to the federal government by the
Constitution of the United States; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That this serve as notice and demand to the federal
government, as our agent, to cease and desist, effective
immediately, mandates that are beyond the scope of these
constitutionally delegated powers; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That all compulsory federal legislation that
directs states to comply under threat of civil or criminal
penalties or sanctions or that requires states to pass legislation
or lose federal funding be prohibited or repealed; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That the Texas secretary of state forward official
copies of this resolution to the president of the United States, to
the speaker of the house of representatives and the president of the
senate of the United States Congress, and to all the members of the
Texas delegation to the congress with the request that this
resolution be officially entered in the Congressional Record as a
memorial to the Congress of the United States of America.

In Case You Lost Yours
A few days ago, I received my copy of the United States Constitution from the U.S. Government Printing Office. You need one? They have two models: a $3 one and a $10 one.
The $3 one is published for 'U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services'-I presume for immigrants [the legal variety] to study for their test. This booklet is about 6-1/4" high by 3-1/4" wide. It contains the the text of the Declaration of Independence, text of the Constitution, the text of all 27 amendments, "important dates to remember," index to the Constitution and it's amendments and quotes by James Mason, John Marshall and James Madison.
I find the $10 model an easier read, only due to it's size- 9" high by 6" wide. This one contains a historical note [a kinda preamble to the possibility of revising the Articles of Confederation], the text of the Constitution, the Amendments, Proposed Amendments Not Ratified and an index to the Constitution and Amendments.
There WILL come a time when the "work-a-day" Americans as well as "the KoolAid drinkers" will need a copy for reference. There WILL come a time when KoolAid AND non-KoolAid America will see the injustice done to the WORKERS in favor of the WORTHLESS and RISE UP to resist more intrusions!!
