"Clown Prince" Weekly Blather; October 30th

A Patriotic Response To The "Clown Prince;" 10/30/2010

The White House

October 30, 2010

Tuesday is Election Day, and here in Washington, the talk is all about who will win and who will lose – about parties and politics.  But around kitchen tables, I’m pretty sure you’re talking about other things: about your family finances, or maybe the state of the economy in your hometown; about your kids, and what their futures will bring. And your hope is that once this election is over, the folks you choose to represent you will put the politics aside for a while, and work together to solve problems.  That’s my hope, too.
[What I'm not telling you:   There's far more being discussed in American homes than family and hometown issues.  Everyone is wrapped up in the national, state and local elections like never before!!  The national pamphleteers are not always truthful and inclusive in their dissemination of the information and facts most helpful to the American voter.  Take for instance, the senatorial election in the State of Delaware.  This hotly contested seat was formerly held by the current Vice-President, Joe "Hair-Plug" Biden.  (We're close friends so I just refer to him as "Plug;" he calls me "Barry, or Bare.")  If that political-insider; obamacRAT cabal member--Chris Coons truly had an eleven-point lead in the pools; why would "The Plug and Barry Show" need to return to the Delaware campaign, week-after-week?!?!  This and every other strongly contested race uses the highly-biased national pamphleteers to develop and promote either a false sense of security or a false sense of hopelessness among the republicRAT voters!!
See, folks;  I don't believe most of this crap any more than the average American does.  All these weekly blathers are pre-approved by my higher-ups......no......, don't be silly.... NOT the American people!!  The final approvals come from the obama Handler Group-headed by George Soros-and others; very, very rich old white men; those who's 'old family money' bought parts of the original shares in The Fed.
I feel it necessary from time-to-time, to circumvent the original approved weekly blather copy and explain my personal position on issues of the day.  Most important to me during the latter half of my regime-and on into 'retirement'-is:  How will I be perceived on the issues; on the failures.  In that vein, the last thing I want is to have a bi-partisan relationship with the upcoming 112th Congress!!  If bi-partisanship exists, who will I blame for the massive debt I've run up??  Who will I blame for the ineptness with which the extreme unemployment and nearly total destruction of the economy were handled??  Who will I blame for the upcoming loss in the nullification of obamaCare??  Who will I blame when future fascist legislation 'goes down in flames??'  While I'm well aware "the bloom is off the rose" since my 'selection for election,'  my immense ego demands that I be held in high regard amongst "my subjects!!"]    Whatever the outcome on Tuesday, we need to come together to help put people who are still looking for jobs back to work. And there are some practical steps we can take right away to promote growth and encourage businesses to hire and expand. These are steps we all should be able to agree on – not Democratic or Republican ideas, but proposals that have traditionally been supported by both parties.
We ought to provide continued tax relief for middle class families who have borne the brunt of the recession. We ought to allow businesses to defer taxes on the equipment they buy next year. And we ought to make the research and experimentation tax credit bigger and permanent – to spur innovation and foster new products and technologies.  Beyond these near-term steps, we should work together to tackle the broader challenges facing our country – so that we remain competitive and prosperous in a global economy. That means ensuring that our young people have the skills and education to fill the jobs of a new age. That means building new infrastructure – from high-speed trains to high-speed internet – so that our economy has room to grow. And that means fostering a climate of innovation and entrepreneurship that will allow American businesses and American workers to lead in growth industries like clean energy.
[What I'm not telling you:  I'm not so arrogant that I don't see the obamacRATs taking "a real thumping" at the polls!!  I'm not so arrogant that I don't see the obamacRATic candidates and incumbents not campaigning on the accomplishments; there are 'precious few!!'  I'm not so arrogant that I don't see the obamacRATic candidates and incumbents preferring that I not campaign for them!!
On the 'jobs' front:  my regime has not only stifled the employment market with the vast increases in  federal debt and bailouts of those companies deemed "to big to fail;" we've also stifled Americans' "will to succeed;" we've also stifled that great American spirit: entrepreneurship!!  The huge debt levels each American is saddled with--'right out of the womb'--make it virtually impossible for any businessman of any size, to plan for the future; to plan for the expansion of factory capacity; to plan for even making the next payroll!!   The continued extending of unemployment benefits--while a near-term benefit--undermines the will to succeed.  When the unemployeds and the underemployeds combine cash benefits with what 'under-the-table' work they can find,; they seem to have enough to succeed--maybe even better themselves--all the while thumbing 'their noses' at the IRS, the federal government and ultimately--ME!!   Too many political careers--including mine, albeit lackluster, at best--depend upon 'big money; big corporations' that demand the continuation of NAFTA.  Nullification of NAFTA and the subsequent tariff assessments on imported goods formerly of American manufacture would have a short-term positive effect on the national budget; the national economy.  Upon nullification, steps could be put in place to repatriate these American companies.
On the 'tax relief' front: Although inept so far as the economy is concerned, I'm not naive enough to believe that 'the rich' aren't an important part in the national economy. As much as the obamacRATs and I continue to enjoy vilifying 'the rich;'  we realize the rich continue to fund what little small-company expansion the country has enjoyed since my immaculation.  Actually, my refusal to continue the 'Bush Tax Cuts' for the rich will probably have little affect, if any.  These guys were smart enough to earn it during the 'republicRAT good times;'  they're smart enough to invest for capital preservation and appreciation in preparation for 'the obama Great Recession'.  Although "Geeze-Louise" McIntosh Rodham Slaughter (obamacRAT-NY28) needs a monument to herself, the regime would bode well to consider the value and useage of some of these innane 'infrastructure projects!'  I point toward her demand for high-speed rail investment in western New York State;  after "the fad wears off," who will actually use it?  Will the prospective ridership justify the billions in investment?  We have to remember that aside from the cities of Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany, western New York is primarily rural in nature; 'fly-over country,' if you will.  I know.... You're thinking: "This from a guy who's real claim-to-fame is throwing bales and 'bails' of money at every problem to see how much sticks?!?!" The future of the country depends upon more 'attention to detail' and value justification for all this infrastructure crap!
The economic growth area of 'clean energy' as yet to prove itself.  Sustainability, practicality and economic viability are a must in this age of 'The obama Great Recession!'  This is the exact area and reasoning that validate the continuation of 'The Bush Tax Cuts' AT ALL LEVELS!  Without vast government funding through grants and tax relief, none of the current 'clean energy' resources are economically viable.  The country nor the government at any level can continue to prop-up this area, just with the hope that someday they can be self-sufficient!!]
On these issues – issues that will determine our success or failure in this new century – I believe it’s the fundamental responsibility of all who hold elective office to seek out common ground. It may not always be easy to find agreement; at times we’ll have legitimate philosophical differences. And it may not always be the best politics. But it is the right thing to do for our country.  That’s why I found the recent comments by the top two Republican in Congress so troubling. The Republican leader of the House actually said that “this is not the time for compromise.” And the Republican leader of the Senate said his main goal after this election is simply to win the next one.  I know that we’re in the final days of a campaign. So it’s not surprising that we’re seeing this heated rhetoric. That’s politics. But when the ballots are cast and the voting is done, we need to put this kind of partisanship aside – win, lose, or draw.
[What I'm not telling you: That "....seek out common ground...." thingie?!?!  The blather authors only ment ....common ground among 'the ruling class!!'  Obviously, they didn't mean common ground with 'the serf class!!'  Had they, we would have considered the opinions of the vast percentage of Americans who OPPOSED OBAMACARE!!!  That 'Republican Leader in the House' is on the right track!!  It's not in the country's best interests to compromise on policies that have thus far, been so destructive to the American economy; put the country in a hole that will be decades in recovering from.   (The First Law of Holes:  When you're in one [debt], stop digging [spending]!)    The 'Republican Leader in the Senate' is on the right track as well; gaining and keeping republicRAT majorities in both houses of Congress at least until the country recovers from 'the obama Great Recession' is essential to the very existance of the country!!]
In the end, it comes down to a simple choice. We can spend the next two years arguing with one another, trapped in stale debates, mired in gridlock, unable to make progress in solving the serious problems facing our country. We can stand still while our competitors – like China and others around the world – try to pass us by, making the critical decisions that will allow them to gain an edge in new industries.
Or we can do what the American people are demanding that we do. We can move forward. We can promote new jobs and businesses by harnessing the talents and ingenuity of our people. We can take the necessary steps to help the next generation – instead of just worrying about the next election. We can live up to an allegiance far stronger than our membership in any political party. And that’s the allegiance we hold to our country.
[What I'm not telling you:   I too, realize that when stalemates occur--no matter the premise, the location--all actions grind to a halt.  This, so far as the federal government is concerned, is not necessarily a bad thing!   The 'work stoppage' will do much to slow the growth of government; the growth of the dependency class; spending on the aforementioned 'infrastructure crap.'  We WILL be surpassed by the likes of China, India, Indonesia, Thailand and most Central and South American countries so long as NAFTA remains 'the law of the land' in North America!!  NAFTA is not the only fault in the American decline; it is hand-in-hand with the unions and 'big money.'  The unions' and big money's stranglehold on the American way-of-life is draining the very life out of the economic engine!!  In any future legislation, policy changes, etc., the affect on this way-of-life must be considered above all.
Where's the economic benefit of the PORKulus bill being used to take over any remaining choice in student loan origination?
Where's the economic benefit of PORKulus finds being forced upon some banks who neither wanted nor needed them?
Where's the economic benefit of the PORKulus bill being used to bailout insurance companies, who will--meer months later--convey billions of dollars in bonus payments to their employees?
Where's the economic benefit of the PORKulus bill bailing out the UAW retirement fund?  Where's the economic benefit of the billions in ANNUAL 'bailouts' of FREDDIE MAC and FANNIE MAE?
As we ALL should have learned in Econ101, bailouts do nothing more than prop up declining business plans and reward poor management.
Any and all federal programs--not self-sufficient--must be returned to the private sector.  All payments to the 'dependency class' must be scaled back severely.  Most of the American public is painfully aware that multiple generations of Americans have never held a money-paying job!!  No matter how painful, this "womb-to-tomb" abuse of the federal largess must come to an end!!]
