"Clown Prince" Weekly Blather; February 12th

A Patriotic Response To The "Clown Prince;" 02/12/2011

"barack-ingham Palace"
    A few months ago, I received a letter from a woman named Brenda Breece. I wanted to share her story because it speaks to what a lot of families are going through – and it offers a good example of the kind of responsibility that’s needed in Washington right now.   Brenda is a mom and a special-ed teacher from Missouri. Her husband, David, was employed at the local Chrysler plant for nearly four decades. They’ve worked hard their whole lives. But like a lot of folks, they’ve taken some hits over the past few years. When the Chrysler plant closed, David had to take early retirement. His pension helps, but it’s half of what he earned before. Meanwhile, because of budget cuts, Brenda has had to buy school supplies for her students out of her own pocket – because it’s her job and she cares about those kids.
    Money has been tight, but they are doing the best they can. And like so many families, they are sacrificing what they don’t need so they can afford what really matters. This is what Brenda told me. “I feel my family is frugal,” she said. “We go to the movies…once a month, but usually we just wait for them to come out on TV… I watch the food budget… We combine trips into town [and] use coupons … and we trim each other’s hair when we need a haircut.”
    So Brenda and her husband know what they can do without. But they also know what investments are too important to sacrifice. Their daughter, Rachel, is a sophomore in college with a 4.0 grade point average. The tuition is a big expense. But it’s worth it, because it will give her the chance to achieve her dreams. In fact, Brenda is looking for a second job to ensure, as she told me, “the money is there to help Rachel with her future.”  Families across this country understand what it takes to manage a budget. They understand what it takes to make ends meet without forgoing important investments like education. Well, it’s time Washington acted as responsibly as our families do. And on Monday, I’m proposing a new budget that will help us live within our means while investing in our future.
[What I'm not telling you:  I was against 'trotting out' yet another family, subjecting them to a public "financial rectal exam!"  George Soros was for it.  Guess who wins that argument?!?  Of course, the family Soros selected had to be subjected to the worst results of the 'obama Great Recession.' I think the greater question here is:  where is the autoworkers union in this case?  Where's union president Richard Trumka in this case?  Aren't the unions in place to protect the worker from dismissal? There I go, off teleprompter again!!  George is gonna be pissed!!    The Breece family is doing nothing more--or nothing less--than millions of American families; those families not fortunate enough to live in a palace named after them!!
    Most American families have had to 'tighten their belts' to weather the 'obama Great Recession;' the Breece family is no different--except they were selected for the aformentioned 'examination.' Mrs Breece might look to the administration and management of the school district where she's employed.  With a MISSOURI average of  $7449 in per-pupil spending in her state--Missouri--and a state total of over $900 million in education spending; there's no practical reason why she should be spending her family's funds on her students' materials!
    I congratulate young Miss Rachael Breece on her 4.0 GPA!  One must wonder which college she's attending; George didn't have that information programmed into the teleprompter.  State schools are traditionally far less expensive that private institutions.  Has Miss Breece--as many, many other students do--considered a part-time job for herself?  With private tuition funding sources quickly drying up as a side effect of the now-unconstitutional 'obamaKare,' the growth of my regime will further curtail federal funding as we syphon off money to support the bureaucracy that administers the funding requests.  There Soros goes again!! That buzz-word: 'investment!'  The reader must understand that it's just a euphemism for the word: "spending!!"  Remember, George had the 'i-word' written into my speech at "The State of The Union" show??  Just as "Slick-Willie" Clinton told Soros:  "Repeated enough, any lie will become the truth!"  Seems funny that Soros would have 'Washington acting responsibly' written into this blather event.... I was under the impression we were obfuscating my inept, fascist, fiscal policies!?!  Oh well!!  Show's ya how much "in-the-loop," I am!!]
    My budget freezes annual domestic spending for the next five years – even on programs I care deeply about – which will reduce the deficit by more than $400 billion over the next decade. This freeze will bring this type of spending to its lowest level as a share of the economy since Dwight Eisenhower was president. We’ve stripped down the budget by getting rid of waste. For example, we’re getting rid of thousands of government-owned buildings that sit empty because they aren’t needed. I’ve also proposed freezing salaries for hardworking government employees, because everyone has to do their part. And I’m going to make sure politics doesn’t add to our deficit, by vetoing any bill that contains earmarks.
    And yet, just as the Breece family is making difficult sacrifices while still investing in the future – by helping their daughter pay her tuition – my budget does the same. I’m proposing that we invest in what will do the most to grow the economy in the years to come. This means job-creating investments in roads, high-speed speed trains, and broadband. This means cutting-edge research that holds the promise of creating countless jobs and whole new industries, like clean energy and biotechnology. And it means improving our schools and making college more affordable – to give every young person the chance to fulfill his or her potential, and receive the job training they need to succeed. Because it would be a mistake to balance the budget by sacrificing our children’s education.  So, after a decade of rising deficits, this budget asks Washington to live within its means, while at the same time investing in our future. It cuts what we can’t afford to pay for what we cannot do without. That’s what families do in hard times. And that’s what our country has to do too.
[What I'm not telling you:   Three important points are opened up in the first sentence!  After Soros 'suggested' that I run the deficit and the national debt out'ta sight in the first two years of my regime, this 'freezing of annual domestic spending for the next five years' will be wholly ineffectual so far as federal spending goes!  With the totals I've we've amassed, there will be essentially no difference in spending, going forward.  To have any effect at all, the freeze levels must be those prior to my 'selection for election!'  Another clever euphemism is that "....lowest level as a share of the economy since...." which is just another attempted obfuscation of the facts!!  The economy of the President Eisenhower Era was far smaller than that of today--in spite of my best efforts--so we can currently run a huge number in this economy and still be well within range of the Eisenhower stastic..... How clever is that?!?!  I tell ya; "That Soros is sharp as a 'bowling ball!!' "
{Note to Soros:  George, you know I'm the personification of the phrase:  "Education does not always equal intelligence!"  Several important points together in the same area of the blather are difficult for me to verbalize-even if they're loaded onto the teleprompter!  Please pass this on to your speechwriters.}

Soros is planning on selling those under-utilized buildings to the management of several REITs who funneled millions in illegal contributions to my "Campaign of Fluff," probably with the hope that they do the same for my "Campaign of Fluff-Redux!!"
Freezing of 'hardworking' federal employees is laughable, in and of itself!!  Take the techncians that make these weekly blather opportunities possible:  So this 'federal pay freeze' thingie is just another of my our euphamistic exercises!!  The republicRATs are taking the 'Tea Party' mandate to heart; they've sworn off earmarks for the upcoming budget cycles, which makes the 'politics adding to the deficit' thingie just another exercise..... well, you get where we're Soros is going with this!
They're paid in excess of $90,000 a year-far above the $49,000 a 'civilian' counterpart earns!!  With few exceptions, this disparity is pervasive throughout the federal government!

    Here he goes with the 'clean energy and biotechnology' again!!  Someone's gotta develop the balls to tell Soros these concepts just aren't resonating with the American public!  Investments; investments; INVESTMENTSWhada'load'a'bullshit!!  As the 'clean energy' doesn't resonate; neither will the 'investments' in highspeed trains and far-reaching broadband internet.  The American people want reduced spending far more than access to these 'air-castles!'  We'll spend untold billions on these only to breed "monsters" that will consume further untold billions in annual subsidies.  The American mindset of 'individual transportation' will not accept the concept of highspeed group travel--nor will they use it, after "the fad wears off."  The 'roads' thingie is the only proposal that makes any sense, but we'll Soros will have to explain away how all these roads were to be repaired/built with the $787Billion PORKulus package.  How will he explain that most of that went to pay off legal and illegal contributors  and supporters?!?!
    The two most important changes to improve the students' chances of actually graduating from high school are:{*}
If the students you teach require remedial instruction in the core courses upon their entry into college, your pay should be reduced for the upcoming school year!  True, there are a few dedicated teachers--experienced and inexperienced--in service today; DAM' FEW!! The quality education of 'the one-room schoolhouse' doesn't exist today!  Most are 'clock-punchers;' show up for work; mindlessly blather on about their topic of expertise; go home!!  For that, some teachers--usually the most worthless--get upwards of $60,000 for six months' work!!!  Someone, somewhere, has to 'bite-the-bullet' and fix the system!!]
{*}(1) Eliminate the federal Department of Education and
(2) Re-cast every school district in America from the current top-heavy, financially bloated, communistic, unionized teacher corps to a meritocracy.
