This'n'That; June Third #1; Whoa, WBZ!!

They're ALREADY Convinced!
    As we are wont to do, "the Young-Miss-Lovely" and I tune into WBZ-Radio, five-days-a-week as we wake up and get ready for the upcoming day.  'BZ' was my Northeast favorite as an over-the-road truck driver, before the advent of satellite radio, like WRVA (Richmond,Va) in the Mid-Atlantic region; like WSB (Atlanta, Ga) in the Southeast; like WOAI (San Antonio, Tx) in the South-Central; like KCMO (Kansas City, Mo) in the Central Plains; like KTNF (Minneapolis-St Paul, Mn) in the North-Central; all these stations are 'blowtorches' heard in 25-35 states during the overnight....  back to my point!
    The overnight show, "The Steve LeVeille Broadcast" has been hosted by Morgan White, Jr., during Steve's vacation; last Friday through this Friday (He'll return on the upcoming Sunday night into Monday morning).

 As they normally do around 4:50AM or so, the show host converses with the upcoming news anchor to create a segue into the news programming upon the conclusion of the overrnight show. During the conversation between Morgan White and news anchor Joe Mathieu, Mr Mathieu expressed the liberal blather that "Clown Prince" owe-bama is imminently re-electable!!  Well, nothing could be further from the truth!!  But,  Massachusetts--or, as we auslanders say: Massa2shits--in general; Boston in particular has long been the bastion of socio-fascist thought and deed.

  I remain steadfast in my belief the socio-fascists will never let logic or common-sense cloud their 'facts' while in the voting booth.  Many's the time I've wanted to 'call Mr LeVeille out' out on some of his statements in support of "Clown Prince" owe-bama!  The "Young Miss Lovely" reminds me that Steve is a dyed-in-the-wool liberal--not necessarily a bad thing--and no amount of conversation will ever change that; not even logic or common-sense.

 So far as I know, Mr Mathieu is a new personality to the WBZ 'family,' so other than his statement in support of the imminent re-election of "Clown Prince" owe-bama, I really don't have any idea on the specifics of his political positions and opinions.  We surely know that he fits well into the region's 'socio-fascist' typecast!

    My Grandfather was a glider infantryman in WWII, an advisor in Korea, and lost one of his sons, my uncle Gary Edwards, in Vietnam.  I worked in his auto repair station during high school and he flew his flag in front daily.  One day while I was sweeping the oil dry out of the bays it began to sprinkle rain.  He told me to go get the flag and I said "gimme a second."  He said, "It is raining, go get the flag NOW."  Well I popped off my mouth about how he should cool it, it isn't going to melt or some such typical teenage comment.
    My grandfather is the toughest man I've ever met.  He explained once that he thought basic training was some sort of country club during WWII, because he was used to hard work anyway, and at home he didn't have indoor toilets or hot running water!  And when I said whatever it was that I said to him, he turned deep crimson and I thought, "God save me, he's going to kill me for talking back."  Instead tears welled up in his eyes and he squeaked out "You don't understand what this family has paid for the right to fly that flag."  Then he turned his back on me and went out and got the flag.  I just stood there feeling like the smallest person to ever live.  Those words cut me so deep.  I wish the entire country could have heard them.
    [ I ] hope that this Nation might yet have enough people who understand the cost of liberty to turn things around.

Sarah Palin's Tour Bus-Whattsa Problem?!?

      The Soros/Jarrett/owe-bama Regime's control over the national pamphleteers has never been more evident than the kerfuffle generated by the Sarah Palin Bus Tour!   First and foremost, Ms Palin didn't release an itinerary!  The whinners have "their panties in a wad;" claiming that without an itinerary, the whole bus tour will be a traffic hazard; 20+ vehicle caravans following the Palin bus-what bullshit!!  They just don't want to have to do any 'lifting;' heavy or otherwise.  The pamphleteers just want to do what they've always done:  finish tearing Ms Palin asunder in one city; race to the next stop; arrange accomodations, meet in the local watering-hole for plenty of 'lubrication'  and wait for the next "tearing asunder" opportunity.
    The Soros' "bought-and-paid-for" pamphleteers' whining seems to have fallen on deaf ears.  The SJo regime has yet to issue a ruling to outlaw this itinerary-less trip around the country by Ms Palin.  The EPA has yet to stop the tour by virtue of the excessive carbon emissions spewed by this bus as it wanders around the Northeast; the National Labor Relations Board--unlike their oppostion to Boeing's move to South Carolina--has yet to file a complaint  restricting the Palin Bus Tour's visits to 'right-to-work' states; keeping the tour stops only to states where union thugs and the New Black Panthers' "enforcers" rule the day!!
    With the failings of the SJo regime; King Soros--his-own-self--and "Clown Prince" owe-bama--his-own-self--the regime has trotted out another of it's minions to '[whiz]-and-moan' about the Palin entourage showing vast amounts of disrespect to the American Flag by it's display on the bus!!
    The Soros "bought-and-paid-for" mouthpiece at [p]MSNBC--Martin Bashir--is having a hissy-fit; the only thing he can come up with is that Palin's flag display violates 'the flag code,' which it does seem to.  'The flag code'  is actually Title 36 USC, 173-178 and Ms Palin's display just may be in violation; I quote: {*}   Apparently Soros failed to remind Mr Bashir that the Supreme Court rendered 'the flag code' both gutless and toothless when they decreed that--in 1989--burning the flag was constitutional.  The 'Supremes' also opined that portions of 'the flag code' are unconstitutional.

{*}(a) The flag should not be displayed on a float in a parade except from a staff, or as provided in subsection (i) of this section.

(b) The flag should not be draped over the hood, top, sides, or back of a vehicle or of a railroad train or a boat. When the flag is displayed on a motorcar, the staff shall be fixed firmly to the chassis or clamped to the right fender.

    If she's inclined, Ms Palin's "violation" could easily be corrected by removing the displayed decal and affixing a 'flag-on-a-staff' as directed above.  It surprises me that the SJo regime has not--as they have, the various and several states--sued Ms Palin, et al, for this grevious violation.  Remember this is far more serious than state enforcement of federal immigration law; far more serious than opposition to owe-bamaKare!!
Give it up, fascists-Let Ms Palin get on with her life; no matter where it takes her, no matter the conveyence!!

owe-bama Boosts Fascist Limousine Fleet 73%!
    In just the first two years of their rule, the Soros/Jarrett/owe-bama regime has increased the federal limousine fleet by 73%, from 238 at the end of the 'Bush-43 Era' to 412 at the end of the second year of fascist rule.  For what reason?  It seems, foreign potentates and international dignitaries need armored limousines with which to go out-on-the-town trolling for hookers. 
    For each of "Clown Prince" owe-bama's monthly vacations--be they international, domestic or golfing--he takes his own fleet of a half-dozen or so armored limousines.  If the foreigners need limousines for trolling, let 'em bring their own!!  Oh, I got it.... to boost the Chevy Volt sales numbers: put those horney potentates in Volt sedans; let'em drive their own fuzzy, ample asses out-on-the-town, to their hearts content!!
    Why such a huge number of limousines?  The executive branch controls the vast majority of them; largely for every piss-ant owe-bama owes his election to!  They should be controlled, thus:

• "Clown Prince" owe-bama: One limousine for his use, a sedan for his security detail.
• "Plug" Biden:  One limousine for his use, a sedan for his security detail.
• Secretary of State: One limousine for the secretary's domestic use, a Chevy Volt for international use.
• Homeland Security Secretary: Chevy Volt for departmental use.
• Energy Secretary:  Chevy Volt for departmental use.
• HUD Secretary:  Chevy Volt for departmental use.
• Education Secretary:  Chevy Volt for departmental use.
• Defense Secretary:  Sedan for the secretary's use; Chevy Volt for departmental use.
• Treasury Secretary:  Chevy Volt for departmental use.
• Transportation Secretary:  Chevy Volt for departmental use.
• Commerce Secretary:  Chevy Volt for departmental use.
• Interior Secretary:  Chevy Volt for departmental use.
• HHS Secretary:  Chevy Volt for departmental use.
• Veterans Affairs Secretary:  Chevy Volt for departmental use.
• Labor Secretary:  Chevy Volt for departmental use.
• Agriculture Secretary:  Chevy Volt for departmental use.
• Attorney-General: Sedan for the 'General's' use; Chevy Volt for departmental use.
• Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff: One limousine for the Chairman's use; one sedan for each of the four Chiefs of Staff.
• Advisor for Consumer Financial Protection:  No vehicle authorized; no access to limo pool.
• barackingham Palace Chief of Staff:  No vehicle authorized; access to limo pool.
• Chairman, Council of Economic Advisors:  No vehicle authorized; no access to limo pool.
• EPA Administrator:  No vehicle authorized; no access to limo pool.
• US Trade Representative:  No vehicle authorized; no access to limo pool.
• OMB Director:  No vehicle authorized; no access to limo pool.
• UN Ambassador:  Sedan for the Ambassador's use.
• 50-or-so Czars/Czarinas of Soros' Shadow Cabinet: No vehicles, No Nothing!!

    There.... I just reduced the fleet from 412 to 4 assigned limousines, plus a limo pool of 10 vehicles.  To make it clear, my use of the term of 'limousine' means just that-a limousine.  When I use 'Sedan' I mean a Lincoln Town Car; a Ford Crown Vic; or equal, but not--NOT--SUVs!!
    The above only included only the 24 bobble-heads assigned to the executive branch.  There needs to be one limousine for the heads of the Senate, The House and the Chief Justice of the Supremes.  Each of the other 'Supreme's' get access to a sedan-sans driver.  I can't understand why no one asked my advice before this!!

owe-bama To Cut Military Pay!
    The Soros/Jarrett/owe-bama has its own way of showing appreciation of the military:  They cut their pay!!  In recent years, military pay has come along way; when I entered the Air Force--in 1964--the basic entry pay was a whoppin' $62.50 per month; per MONTH!!  Yup, a whole $750.00 per year; per YEAR!!
(Point of Reference: in 1965, a BRAND-NEW Chevy Impala 2dr hdtp, 327, 4-speed cost: $3,352.10!!  That's every penny of nearly 54 MONTHS' pay at 1964 rates.  At today's rates, a $20,000 car would equal 13 months, 3 weeks' pay.  Presidential pay, 1964: $100,000; current: $400,000)
    Presumably as a spending-cut measure, owe-bama has Defense Secretary Robert Gates trot out and announce that the regime would have to re-examine military pay, military health care benefits and the military retirement system.  Remember, Secretary Gates is on-his-way-out and has nothing to lose with this announcement.
    Military basic pay and allowances--and to a lesser degree, health care and retirement benefits--have had a tremendous impact on retention rates of soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen... and women.  Back in the early-to-mid Sixties--with the Viet Nam War looming--retention rates were in the less-than-20%-of-first-termers, area (as I recall-I can't find any statistics from earlier eras).  In the current era, rates aren't that dismal, but bad enough that the Defense Department is concerned about maintaining competent, educated, trained fighting forces in every military branch. 
    We've all seen them on the network newscasts; the grunts "humpin'" around with their packs and weapons; completely covered in long pants, long sleeved shirts, heavy boots and all kinds of crap hanging from their belts, packs and helmets.  Hell, those packs alone, outweigh our oldest teenaged child!!  Add to the weight--the blowing sand; the sticky-sweaty bodies; the ubiquitous insects; the strategic mission demands; concerns for relatives and friends 'back-in-the-world;'  these folks--the young and the not-so-young--earn every penny they're paid!!  They're not the super-fit members of Seal Team-6; the Army's Special Forces; the Army's Ranger Battalions--they're the military version of you and me; just average grunts "going to work" every day; doing the necessary heavy-lifting while not asking anything more than their superiors honor the contracts they have with the forces in general.
    The next time your in a 'big-box' home improvement store--like Lowes' or Home Depot--check the nametags until you find a department manager.  This civilian--a mid-level manager--would be comparable to (pay grade: E-5) an Air Force Staff Seargeant; an Army Sergeant; a Marine Sergeant; a Navy and Coast Guard Petty Officer 2nd Class, both having 6 years experience.  I've worked at one of the aforementioned BBS, I know that they're paid considerably more than the military basic pay of $31,442.40 annually.  Search out the store manager.  This guy or gal makes around $70-80,000 to manage the store and it's personnel.  In my opinion the store manager position would be comparable to an Army Company Commander, a captain who--after ten years' service--has a basic annual pay of around 75,000 bucks.  It would seem to me that--much like the civilian workforce--the upper echelons of the miltary have had their annual pay creep up to civilian standards alot faster than the mid- and lower- level soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines.
    The store manager--unlike his military counterpart-- does not have the daily concerns of life-and-death!!  The military manager bears the responsibility of feeding, clothing, housing, transporting and insuring the safety of their charges!
This desire by the SJo regime to financially placate the opposition partially on the backs of the military is unconscionable!!  The military--for the most part--go "above-and-beyond" on a daily basis!!  The military pay scale should be defended at all costs; should not be a part of the 'chess match' that is budget negotiation.
    As with the 'Texas vs Mexico' disaster assistance; with the Joplin, Mo disaster vs a weekend round of golf, the threat of military pay cuts very well may be based on their collective voting records.  The military--as a class, on average--vote republicRAT or the most conservative plutocRAT on the docket.  This might very well be their undoing-paywise!!  A recent Gallup poll reveals that just 37% of military members support the SJo regime's policies!!
