This'n'That; August Third #2; The Five

The Five At Five Join The Five Best!!
Here's a quote from Alex Weprin of 'The Newser,' which rates cable news shows:
"Another winner was 'The Five,' which has grown to become a top five show on cable news.  It was up +34% in total viewers and +33% in the demo, and had its best month ratings-wise since it launched a year ago."

To paraphrase "Clown Prince" obama:  If I could have another daughter, I'd like her to be as nice, just as knowledgeable and as cute as Dana Perino!!  That being said, I enjoy all the panelists on 'The Five,' and I'm even learning to tolerate Bob Beckel, although it's been a l-o-o-n-g, hard path!!
Congratulations to the show's participants as well as the floor directors and producers without which nothing would hit the airwaves!!

This'n'That; August Second #2; Senatorial Worm!

Senator Harry Reid Demonstrating He's A 'Slimy Prick!'
obamacRATic Senate Majority Leader, Senator harry 'pinkyreid is deriding Mitt Romney over Mr Romney's filing or not-filing his personal income taxes 'for ten years:'
"He didn't pay taxes for 10 years!  Now, do I know that that's true?  Well, I'm not certain," the slimy senatorial prick told the Huffington Post.  "But obviously, he can't release those tax returns.   How would it look?"
What 'pinky' reid thinks of you and I!
"Pinky-the-Prick's" information ALLEDGEDY came from an anonymous caller from Bain Capital to the Prick's senatorial office.  Why would he spew forth without verifiable evidence to support his latest prick-ism?!?
I'll tell'ya why I think he did it.  Cuz "Clown Prince" obama has nothing else!! Cuz Governor Romney is so white-bread, squeaky-clean, The Bilderberg Group's hatchetmen can find nothing in his background with which to vilify the competition.  Always before, the "Clown Prince" has had--as I wrote about here-- 'friends in high places' to release embarrassing information to suggest an opponent has negative creditability issues.  This time, with this candidate, it seems just not possible due to the Governor's personal, professional 'cleanliness!'

At least 'pinky' ain't pickin' his ass!!
'pinky' reid has used this anonymous caller method several times, none of which ever amounted to 'a-pinch-a-shit!'  But strangely enough, the slimy senatorial prick's office never receives anonymous calls about the underhanded deals with casino owners and operators that netted him millions-of-dollars; strangely enough, the slimy senatorial prick's office never receives anonymous calls about the slimy senatorial prick's crooked land deals with the Las Vegas branch of the Mafia which netted him tens-of-millions-of-dollars; not'a peep about those!!

Were I Governor Romney, I'd not release any income tax records unless and until, "Clown Prince" obama released his educational transcripts-high school through Harvard Law School, inclusive.  Don'cha just think a man's education level and quality-of-achievement are more important than how much a man earned; how much a man paid in income taxes?!?

This'n'That; August Second #1; Major Anniversary!

EIB Network Begins Twenty-Fourth Year
Yesterday--August First--Rush Hudson Limbaugh III began his twenty-fourth year as the "Excellence in Broadcasting" Network's original, primary and ONLY regular, full-time host of 'The Rush Limbaugh Show!'  Dire predictions of his longevity have been pontificated upon since the show's debut on August 1, 1988.
Each time there's been a change--or a pending change--in the Oval Office (Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush {41}, George W. Bush {43}); or in the Ovary Office ("Slick-Willie" Clinton) or in the Offal Office ("Clown Prince" obama, as  choreographed by The Bilderberg Group) said pontificateurs have blathered:
"What will Rush Limbaugh talk about now?!?"
"With (the outgoing president or the imminent defeat of the current ruler) gone, this will be the end of Rush Limbaugh!"
With each passing year, the socio-fascist, marxist, communist, members of the left's media, Senate and House of Representatives et al, have predicted Mr Limbaugh's downfall, to no avail.  At the start of the show's national sindication, a 'hand-full' of stations were on-board; today the count is up to 612--and growing--radio stations carrying the program; the vast majority live (without 'tape delay').  As some kind of broadcasting record, 'The Rush Limbaugh Show (or 'Program,' as it's sometimes called) reaches over 20,000,000 listeners a week.
Ever the provocateur, Rush has never shied away from any topic, be it President Bush's (41) overcoming (as conjured up by Newsweek) 'The Wimp Factor,' to "Slick-Willie" boinking Monica Lewinsky in the Ovary Office, to
'the Armed Forces Radio (AFRTS, later AFN)' controversy, to the 'Michael J. Fox' controversy, to the 'Barack, the Magic Negro' controversy, to the 'Phony Soldiers' controversy, to the "I Hope He Fails (obama's policies)" controversy, and on, and on....
I--personally--was a late-comer to the program; my then-wife--the ever infamous 'Dragon Lady'--had a half-hour commute to and from work, coming home during the midnight hour.  She caught the show on a late night re-broadcast and turned me on to him.  I've been a faithful listener since about 1989-'90.
So.... in conclusion:  Don't let'em git'cha down, Rush, keep the 'good-word' coming!!  Much congratulations; much continued success!!

This'n'That; August First #2; Where Is He?!?

Where's The Good Doctor When We Need Him?!
Yesterday, July Thirty-First would have been Dr Milton Friedman's 100th birthday but sadly, he passed away in November, 2006.  Dr Friedman passed away long before he could have taken "Clown Prince" obama 'to school' on economic theory; on economic principles; on economic practice; on economic freedom!!  The good doctor was arguably the greatest American economic mind--nay, WORLDWIDE economic mind--of all time!!  But--in a positive light--there's much to be learned just by reading and adhering to the principles cited in Dr Friedman's quotes.
This, as it applies to federal bailouts, federal ownership of car companies, federal 'rewards' to on-going bankruptcies of 'green' energy companies:
"So that the record of history is absolutely crystal clear.  That there is no alternative way, so far discovered, of improving the lot of the ordinary people that can hold a candle to the productive activities that are unleased by a free enterprise system."
....or this, on the over-reaching federal control over the private citizen:
"The greatest advances of civilization, whether in architecture or painint, in science and literature, in industry or agriculture, have never come from centraized government."
....or this, on the causes and affects of "The Roosevelt Depression:"

"The Great Depression, like most other periods of severe unemployment, was produced by government mismanagement rather than by any inherent instability of the priveate economy."

....or this, on individual freedom:
"The only way that has ever been discovered to have a lot of people cooperate together voluntarily is through the free market.  And that's why it's so essential to preserving individual freedom."
  ....and this:
"Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself."

 ....and this:
"Every friend of freedom must be as revolted as I am by the prospect of turning the United States into an armed camp, by the vision of jails filled with casual drug useres and of an army of enforcers empowered to invade the liberty of citizens on slight evidence."

....or this, on the inept, complete failure of government political, market and economic controls:

"Concentrated power is not rendered harmless by the good intentions of those who create it."
....and this:
"If you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in 5 years there'd be a shortage of sand."

....and this:
"Many people want the government to protect the consumer.  A much more urgent problem is to protect the consumer from the government."

....and this:
"Only government can take perfectly good paper, cover it with perfectly good ink and make the combination worthless."
....and on, and on ad infinitum!!
As is illustrated by the aforementioned quotes, Doctor Milton Friedman was certainly a premier economist, and wasn't afraid to demonstrate the correctness of his thinking!  The November election will be THE MOST IMPORTANT election in terms of how the majority of Americans want to live:  in personal and economic freedom or in tyrannical dependency!!

This'n'That; August First #1; Soon!!

Let 'The Downfall' Continue!
One of the best things about today....??
There's but 96 days, 16 hours, 45 minutes until the polls close on the most disasterous landslide victory since President Ronald "Ronaldus-Magnus" Reagan's 47 state (by "Clown Prince" obama's count: 56 state) drubbing of Walter F. Mondale.  The re-election of President Reagan was a clear indication that the country as a whole, supported his efforts in bringing us back from the depths of the Jimmuh Cahtuh Depression.
The 1984 general election results by county:

RED: President Reagan; Blue: Walter Mondale
One thing to remember on November 6th--as is said in obama's Chicago--"Vote early, vote often!" Til Nex'Time....
