This'n'That; August Sixteenth #2; Eric Bolling

Eric Bolling: What A Guy!

On the Wednesday Edition (08/15) of "The Five," one of the features was the lady in Philadelphia who was donating her own time to conduct 'food give-aways' to benefit the poor kids in her neighborhood.  Most ALL of members of "The Five" thought the actions of the City of Philadelphia were deplorable!!  Said city--actually, the Chester Township zoning board--was subjecting the lady--a Ms Angela Prattis--to $600 PER DAY, fines for acting without a permit.  Not only that, Ms Prattis must also 'fess-up' up to $1,000 in 'administrative fees' to obtain the necessary permitting.

Angela Pettis
The all-around nice-guy that he is, Eric Bolling of "The Five" intends to donate said $1,000 from all the hosts, to Ms Pettis and on-air, asked the show's floor directors and/or it's producers to find an address where he could mail the check!!

This'n'That; August Third #2; The Five

The Five At Five Join The Five Best!!
Here's a quote from Alex Weprin of 'The Newser,' which rates cable news shows:
"Another winner was 'The Five,' which has grown to become a top five show on cable news.  It was up +34% in total viewers and +33% in the demo, and had its best month ratings-wise since it launched a year ago."

To paraphrase "Clown Prince" obama:  If I could have another daughter, I'd like her to be as nice, just as knowledgeable and as cute as Dana Perino!!  That being said, I enjoy all the panelists on 'The Five,' and I'm even learning to tolerate Bob Beckel, although it's been a l-o-o-n-g, hard path!!
Congratulations to the show's participants as well as the floor directors and producers without which nothing would hit the airwaves!!

This'n'That; July Twenty-Fifth #1; What Happened?

What Happened To Bob Beckel?!?
If anyone saw yesterday's (July 24) "The Five" on the Fox News Channel, can you explain Mr Beckel's sudden attack of civility?  He almost heaped seemingly genuine, sincere, heartfelt praise on President George W. Bush and Laura Bush for their activities in AIDS prevention and control in various third-world ratholes.
[See a President Bush interview on the subject  here ]
Most recently, President and Mrs Bush spent their 4th of July week in Africa repairing, remodeling a cervical cancer center.  After being accused of modeling his post-presidency after any or some of his predicessors, Karen Hughes--a long-time Bush presidential aide and confidant--said:
"He is very much charting his own course and it's a continuation of things he really cares about going back to his term as Governor.  He really believes in the biblical imperative 'To whom much is given, much is expected.'"
So--in conclusion--I for one, thank Bob Beckel for TEMPORARILY burying his 'commie-lib hatchet' and giving praise where praise is due, regardless of political affiliation!
So.... Thanks, Bob!!

This'n'That; June Twenty-Eighth #1; A 'Found' Site

Ever Heard Of 'Fastnote.com?'
I don't remember what prompted me to stumble on the site but since I've found it, I enjoy reading the posts and comment on some.  So far, I've created one 'individual' (Dana Perino) and one 'organization' ('The Five').
On the 'Fastnote' site, there is a bit of a write-up about it's founding, what it's all about: http://www.fastnote.com/media-room#WBTV1  I've created my account which is completely anonymous, as opposed to Facebook which I think is far too open; far too much information!  You can check out 'Fastnote' without creating an account; it's well worth the read!

This'n'That; May Twenty-Seventh #1; Roadtrip!

Courtesy Of Dana Perino and "The Five"
Most of the "The Five" shows I see are DVR'd so I kinda lose track of what day's show I'm watching.  I normally do have a pad and pen at hand for notes on important political topics.  One of the two shows I watched Friday evening had Dana Perino talking about a 'debt-and-deficit-roadtrip.'  So I giggled it and found this URL:
www.bermanpost.com
On the 'Berman' site, I found the video to which Ms Perino referred:
http://politicalmath.wordpress.com/2009/05/15/the-national-debt-road-trip/
Not only is said video/audio well made, most informative, it seems to be factually correct.  Although originally produced in May of 2009, it uses the "Clown Prince's" own budget projections as well as factual spending numbers.
The 'politicalmath' URL has a written narrative for those who are audio-ically challenged!!
I thank Dana Perino and those producers on "The Five" who found this video and brought it to a 'second-life.'
Til Nex'Time....
[Closed circuit to Mitt Romney:]  Governor, this video should be incorporated into your next '"Clown Prince" owe-bama versus republicRATics spending' video ads.
