This'n'That; January Seventeenth #1; A$$h0!es!!

Where Do We Find These Assholes?!?
There's been several on-going dialogues going on since the 'Sandy Hook' tragedy; the vast majority being successive layers of 'political theatre!!'  All this 'political theatre' seems to be regionally motivated as well:
where was the outcry from Arizona officials after the Giffords shooting?!?
where was the outcry from Colorado officials after the 'theatre' shooting in Aurora?!?
where was the outcry from Texas officials after that evil muslim terrorist (masquerading as an Army officer), murdered several service members as well as civilians at Fort Hood?!?
Stupidity as well as 'political theatre' seems more prevalent here in the northeast United States than in the rest of the country.  A perfect example is New York's Governor, "Andy-the-Czar" Cuomo!!
As soon as "Czar Andy" found out that The Bilderberg Group was ordering "Clown Prince" obama to destroy as much of the Second Amendment as possible while the "Sandy Hook" iron is hot, his Czar-ness left no state politician UNTURNED!!  It was just like New York's state budget negotiations.... "Three Men In A Backroom!!"  All laws.... all issues financial.... begin similarly in The Grand Duchy of New York.
Czar Andy--for his national political future--had to be first out with his knee-jerk reaction so as to have bragging rights during his Bilderberg Group Candidate Interview required prior to his run at the U.S. presidency.  The Grand Duchy in Albany has some pretty slick communists who ghost-write legislation for them i.e., the legislation has far less to do with child-safety than it does circumvention of the aformentioned Second Amendment.  The communists have selected 'S-E-V-E-N' as the magic number in their anti-gun bill.  The 'S-E-V-E-N' refers to the number of rounds in a newly legal magazine for handguns, rifles.... ANY PROJECTILE DISPENSER!!  Said "magic number" essentially outlaws handguns in New York State!!  See, most most manufacturers provide 10-, 14-, 17-round magazines with the purchase of their weapons.  Given the size of the New York market compared to the United States as a whole, the demand for "S-E-V-E-N round magazines" wouldn't be great enough to warrant the change in production lines for the manufacture....
hence....
No more LEGAL handguns in New York State.
Bob Lonsberry has an excellent article on Czar Andy accomplishing what King George III COULD NOT!!
You wait America....
the Asshole in Albany may be the next Ruling Asshole in the District of Corruption!!

This'n'That; January Tenth #2; SoS!

As Usual, State of the State 'Barks up Wrong Tree'
As with his father; as with his fraternal brothers--the obamAlinskyites--Young Andy is only giving half of his subjects half of the story during his reading of the "State of the State" blather!  Not only that, Cuomo-The-Younger--as is the norm--routinely only speaks to New York City concerns, problems, solutions; to hell with upstate, to hell with Western New York.... possibly excepting the Finger Lakes wine industry.
Let's have a look at just some of the points Young Andy brought up:
Gun Control--As is most of the rest of the nation, Governor Cuomo (pron: kwoo.MOO) is providing us with his usual knee-jerk reactions and knee-jerk legislative proposals.
A.  The governor wants the toughest gun control laws in the country.
B.  The governor wants to eliminate multi-round magazines.
C.  The governor wants background checks on every individual involved in every sale/purchase, even when I sell my rifle to you.
D.  The governor wants enhanced punishments for various classes of miscreants.  This'll sure deter those like Adam Lanza (Sandy Hook); like William Spengler (West Webster, N.Y., fires; murders), aye?!?
E.  The governor wants to end 'lifetime' pistol permits; revert to bi- or tri-annual subsequent checks.
The governor fails to realize the true purposes of the Constitution's Second Amendment:
1.  To "correct the thought processes" of a tyrannical federal government;
2.  To defend the individual 'hearth and home;'
3.  To defend the homeland against foreign miscreants.
Using the governor's logic--or lack thereof--one or two or three or four bullets will be legal, the next on will not!  Where will the state's incursions stop?!?
Governor Cuomo--if allowed--will follow in The Bilderberg Group's footprints through "Clown Prince" obama.  Said clown has "plug" biden studying how to further limit the individual American's liberties while members of his regime are buying 450,000,000 rounds of 40 cal, jacketed, hollow-point ammunition!!
That's enough ammo to shoot every resident of any age in the United States, Canada and Mexico, once!!
But.... there's a bit of "poop-in-the-puddin'" here:
the 40 caliber round is not standard military issue;
by international agreement, a jacketed bullet cannot be used in an organized, armed conflict;
by international agreement, hollow-point ammunition cannot not be used in an organized, armed conflict.
But--dear friends--we constitutionalists can use any caliber, any type ammunition to protect our rights; we're--currently--not an organized military unit!!
I digress; let's get back on topic:
State Minimum Wage--The governor is whining that New York State's minimum wage is below 19 states with higher wage laws.  The governor is forgetting--or better yet, ignoring--the fact that increasing the wage employers are forced to pay will undoubtedly reduce the number of jobs currently available; will reduce the number of jobs created in the future.  Cuomo wants the forced hourly-wage raised from $7.25 to $8.75!!  The proven way to increase a standard of living is to allow market forces to establish the level of pay, NOT a particular level of government.  The subject employee can aspire to a higher level of pay with experience, education and performance.
Stop and Frisk--The governor is kinda pissed that statistics show most "open view" whacky-weed arrests are centered around the negro and the hispanic miscreants; 82% (versus 18% 'other races').  To make his statistics look better, he'd like to reduce the requirements for arrest for these various amounts of 'weed.'
Education--In this category, Governor Cuomo does have some--rather, few--positive proposals.  The governor wants to lengthen the daily and annual amount of learning time:  full-day kindergartens and increasing the length of the school day; of the school year by 25%.  The problem is he wants to use state grants as the primary brigery reward.
Additionally, he wants to throw more and more money at teachers and principals.  These funds--likely to fail as before--will reinforce--bribe--those individuals' desires to enhance the success levels of the students under their care; their instruction.  These silly incentives will include a "bar exam" for teachers as well as $60,000 bribes (4X$15,000) for "master teachers."  The better path is to emulate Wisconsin's Governor Scott Walker and his actions to reduce the taxpayers' liabilities, redirect the saved funds toward the aformentioned bribery rather than burdening New York's property-tax payers ever further!!
The reader can check out the full transcript for other points the governor addressed.

This'n'That; May Thirty-First #1; New York Stupidity

New York Legislature, In It's Infinite Wisdom...
....and in retaliation for the release of damaging information, is attacking yet another segment of New York taxpayers.  A couple of days ago, The Tax Foundation released some information gleaned from IRS public information as well as the latest census activity.
Between 2000 and 2010 3.4 million persons left the State of New York.  During the same period, 2.1 million persons foolishly migrated INTO the state making a net population loss of 1.3 million lucky persons.  The departing citizens took $45.5 billion in earnings with them!  With the State of New York being Number Two on the 'states with the highest state and local tax burden' list, the departures mean a hell'uva bite in the expected revenue to the state treasury.
Given said loss in tax revenue over the 2000-'10 decade, the New York legislature has found a solution:  find another taxpayer segment and tax THEM out-of-existence!!  They've decided on independent contractors in the state's trucking industry.  With enactment of
"The New York State Commercial Goods Transportation Industry Fair Play Act," the state's legislative miscreants will essentially force the state's segment of the trucking industry companies to bear costs originally the responsibility of the independent contractors (also known as 'owner-operators).  The so-called 'Fair Play Act' is anything but fair!!  It makes said independents trucking company employees, to be organized and ruled by that evil Teamsters Union.  And adding unmanagable expenses to the individual trucking companies.
I know from whence I speak.  I was an over-the-road truck driver for almost eleven years (7 years of that as an owner-operator) until an insane federal law forced me out of the tractor I owned.
A bit of definition:  Those independent contractors were different than myself, in that they relied on 'load-boards' to find loads.  I leased my tractor to Crete Carrier Corporation who offered me loads, rather than me having to find them on my own through said 'load-boards'.
Various manufacturers--actually, anyone with frieght to have hauled--list on  load-boards from time-to-time for unexpected freight movements.  Independents consult these boards, contact the shipper and negotiate various aspects of 'the deal.'
The 'arschlocher' in the New York legislature are grasping at straws to continue to fund:
one of the best--worst, if you're a taxpayer--welfare benefit systems in the country;
one of the best state employee union retirement systems in the country;
one of the best state employee union medical benefit systems in the country;
one of the best legislator financial perquisite systems in the country, et al.
The way to continue the lavish career of a state politician must not be partially on the backs of the state's trucking industry.  These guys--and gals--'fight-tooth-and-nail' every day just to make ends meet in the caree they love.
Every arschloch that votes to enact this legislation must be resoundingly kicked out on their collective asses at the next election!!
Blogger sidebar:  I thoroughly enjoyed my eleven years 'on the road.' Even better were the seven of those years as an owner-operator.  Without the federal interference I'd still be out there, discovering something new each-and-every-day!  Anyone who's nomadic by nature would bode well to check out the trucking industry for his--or her--next career endeavor.
I've met retired doctors, dentists, nurses, accountants, corporate executives, among us 'commoners'' who call ourselves truck drivers.  There are handicapped drivers, one of which was a wheel-chair bound driver I met in a truckstop, somewhere!! Truck driving as a career--while it looks cool--is not for the fainthearted; the stress levels can be hellish!!  With an open mind, the rewards can far outweigh the negatives.

This'n'That; May Sixteenth #1; NYS Idiots!

owe-bamaites In NYS Senate
Last month New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced his plan for an "Energy Superhighway" from the electricity producers in Canada to Central and Western New York, down into New York City.  Although details are skimpy, the Governor's plan purports to eliminate--or lessen the effects of--the bottlenecks in this energy supply channel.
In following "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist's" 2008 campaign pledge for consumers' electric bills "to necessarily skyrocket," Senator George Maziarz's newly introducted bill--if passed--will do just that!  Senator Maziarz introduced Senate bill S-7391, "An Act to amend the transportation corporation law, in relation to the powers of gas and electric corporations."  At last count, there were seventeen co-sponsors.  Said senator and his co-sponsoring cohorts are whining that the future transmission lines--either new, or upgraded--will subject the state's rate-payers to increased costs of both construction and product.  As proposed, the Maziarz bill will limit the right of eminent domain to public purposes.
Given the state of both the national and state economies, now is not the time to 'kiss obama's fuzzy brown ass!!"  Or to kiss--and protect--the various colored 'fuzzy asses' of the The Business Counsel of New York State,  the NYS IBEW (utility workers') union as well as several small in-state electricity producers of questionable effeciency.  Or to think of one's future political career as a determining factor in proposing or voting on legislative measures.
Most of the state's legislators--of any political stripe--are self-serving miscreants who should be tossed out on their "fuzzy (insert color here) asses" at the soonest possible election!!

This'n'That; April Sixth #2; 'Ya Can't Fix STUPID!'

New York State Assembly Promotes Poverty
Right after 'the-three-white-men-in-a-backroom' fashioned the next New York State budget--which incidently, gives welfareRATs a 10%'raise'--they're going after the individuals and businesses whose taxes pay for said budget.
The same three pasty-white guys want to raise New York's minimum wage from $7.25 to $8.50 per hour.  With their 'fuzzy-math,' this increased labor cost will create 4,800 additional jobs; generate $600,000,000 in annual economic activity.  The major problem here is--as is the norm--downstate will reap the benefits while upstate, the North Country and western New York will 'pay-the-piper!'
How can these guys, the "smartest people in the room," reconcile increased labor expense with a net-increase in jobs?!?  It only stands-to-reason in this owe-bamaDepression that employers--fearful of the future--will lay-off enough workers to bring the total labor expense back to the pre-raise level.  How tough is that to understand?!?
Exactly how does an increased cost-of-doing-business 'generate $600 million in increased economic activity?!?'
"Beats the snot out'a me!!"
"Ya can't fix STUPID!!"

This'n'That; January Twenty-Sixth #1: In Just Three Weeks!

owe-bamanomics In 2012
In just the past three-weeks--ALL of January, thusfar--the numbers just keep climbin'!!  "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist" is continuing his race, economic, gender warfare, onward toward a socio-fascist dictatorship:
January 25, 2012, 7:00PM, eastern
Nationwide Bankruptcies to date:      1,425,632
Nationwide Foreclosures to date:         874,459
Nationwide Foodstamp recipients:   47,051,147
NATIONAL DEBT:
Total:                                         $15.275 Trillion
Debt per citizen:                                $48,816
Debt per taxpayer:                            $135,268
NYS (My home state) Total Debt:  $303.619 Billion
Debt per NYS citizen:                          $15,658
NYS Food stamp recipients:               3,086,992
State of Missouri total debt:           $40.901 Billion
Debt per Mo citizen:                             $6,809
Mo Food stamp recipients:                    958,439
The state-level statistics are important because the debt is separate from the owe-bama debt and the per-citizen share must be added to the national per-citizen share.  This means that--at this moment--I owe approximately $64,474, and it's a steady climbin'!!  The "Young Miss Lovely" and I are planning to permanently re-locate to Springfield, Missouri.  When we do, my individual share of a state-level debt will drop by 57+%, to $6,809!!

This'n'That; January Seventeenth #1;Commonalities/Compromises

Comparisons Easy To Make; Verify
More than just occasionally, I start on one project and get easily sidetracked.  We are planning to move from the God-forsaken State of New York; from the God-forsaken, crime-ridden; miscreant-infested City of Rochester.  To that end, it's my self-determined responsibility to begin packing the non-essentials even though the move--if it actually comes to pass--won't happen until late spring, early summer.
The current project is to pack my 'conservative' publications, be they hard-bound books or magazines.  I managed to get about one-half a kitty litter tub packed (I've found the 35++ pound 'Tidy Cats' litter containers work really well for this) when I ran across a book on "Ronaldus-Magnus;" my political; legislative; 'public figure' hero!!  Before I realized it, I had consumed 128 of 271 pages of RONALD REAGAN IN PRIVATE; 'A Memoir of My Years in the White House' by Jim Kuhn!!
As is the norm with most A-D-Ders, I began to side-track into 'blog-mode;' "there has to be a blog entry in here, somewhere!!"  And in my fuzzy little mind, I think I've found that entry.  Check this out:
The aforementioned book starts with Mr Kuhn's work on various political campaigns, on into Mr Reagan's first presidential campagn of 1976.  There are many facts; much information of that 'early' era of national politics; comparisons of Mr Reagan to the democRAT 'flavor of the day;' like Jimmuh Cahtah, Robert Byrd (W.Va), Michael Dukakis (Ma), Geraldine Ferraro (NY), John Glenn (Oh), et al.
As with many--if not most--DINOs, I've become so disenchanted with "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist," as to do my utmost to aid him.... in his political destruction!! To that end, I'll undertake the easily constructed comparisons of our current ruler to the aforementioned Cahtah as well as contrasts with "Ronaldus-Magnus."  In the coming comparisons and contrasts, I'll try to remember to give you page and paragraph of any quotes and facts.
"Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist"--in agreement with the 'national decline' narrative--on September 30, 2011, said:
*"The way I think about it is, you know, this is a great, great country that had gotten a little soft and, you know, we didn't have that same competitive edge that we needed over the last couple of decades.  We need to get back on track."
Mr Reagan (speaking at the New York City launch of his 1980 presidential nomination campaign):
**"I don't agree that our nation must resign itself to inevitable decline, yielding its proud position to other hands,  I am totally unwilling to see this country fail in its obligation to itself and to the other free people of the world."
    Then-President Cahtah--during his failed re-election campaign--said:
***....Reagan was a divisive, trigger-happy cowboy who would lead America into numerous, unnecessary armed conflicts.  During a speech in Chicago, Cahtah said:
"Americans will be separated, black from white, Jew from Christian, North from South, rural from urban."
As hindsight tells us, none of this ever happened; Mr Cahtah  was only spouting the democRATic (future owe-bamacRATic) divisive, derisive lines from their 'Keeping the White House' playbook.
To create the illusion of improving unemployment numbers, "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist" resorted to 'creative accounting' to reduce the U-3 rate from 10.1% at his immaculation to the fabricated 8.5% current rate.
****In August 2011, "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist" proposed seven new regulations that would cost American businesses one-billion-dollars, EACH.  This is added to the $38 Billion in annual regulatory expenses and the $100 Billion in annual compliance costs!!
Mister Reagan--while speaking to union steelworkers during the 1980 campaign--responded to the question-'could he restore the lost jobs':
*****"You bet.  I think we've got a policy in our government for the last few years that is hostile.  It considers business--instead of part of the community--as an adversary.  It's time we got government off the back of industry."
******During the second presidential debate (Cleveland Convention Center Music Hall, October 28, 1980) Jimmuh Cahtah continued his on-going distortions of Mr Reagan's proposals, i.e., Mr Reagan's cutting Medicare.  "Ronaldus-Magnus" issued the now-famous line:
There you go, again."
# Each had their 'wrap-up' statements:
President Cahtah: "I think to close out this discussion, it would be better to put into context what we're talking about.  I had a discussion with my daughter Amy [then 12], the other day, before I came here, to ask her what the most important issue was.  She said she thought nuclear weaponry--and the control of nuclear arms."
Mr Reagan".....I think when you make that decision [the vote was the following Tuesday] it might be well if you would ask yourself, are you better off than you were four years ago?  Is it easier for you to go and buy things in the stores than it was four years ago?  Is there more or less unemployment in the country than there was four years ago?  Is America respected throughout the world as it was?  Do you feel that our security is as safe, that we are as strong as we were four years ago?...."
Prior to his presidency, "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist" was little more than an ineffectual, two-bit federal politican with 143 days' experience.  Before that, he was a--again a two-bit--community agitator on Chicago's Southside while 'part-timing' as a law school lecturer.  The "Clown Prince" has never worked for a paycheck that wasn't funded by the state or federal governments.   After his immaculation, the "Clown Prince's" ego went into hyper-inflation; the chips-on-his-shoulder grew exponentially to monumental proportions!!    ##  The presidency didn't change Ronald Reagan.  He didn't let the office intimidate him, nor did he permit it to affect his ego.  He was totally unaffected by the power of the office.
    ### EDITORIAL: obama and America's Decline; Washington Times; November 9, 2010: "....Always ready to underrection our country abroad, the president concluded that the upside to this relative decline in America's fortunes is that "This will keep America on its toes.  America is going to have to compete."  Mr obama ignores the fact that it was American invention, innovation and competative spirit that gave the country its economic pre-eminence in the first place.  Rather than lecturing American to get in the game, he would do better to reverse the anti-business climate he has helped foster...."
####During his first inaugural address--January 20, 1981--President Reagan noted democRATs had lost faith in the american people, elling them there was a 'malaise' in the United States, that America had to resign itself to a slow, relentless decline in its power, its wealth, its prestige.
"We have every right to dream heroic dreams.  Those who say that we're in a time when there are no heros, they just don't know where to look."
[A bit of a side-bar to the thoughts and actions of presidents:  After the president and former presidents Nixon, Ford and Cahtah attended Anwar Sadat's funeral on October 10, 1981, both former presidents Ford and Cahtah were flying back to the United States aboard one of the presidential aircraft.  As is the norm, the dignitaries pose for individual photos with the staff of the aircraft.  Mistah Cahtah was particularly hostile toward the staff and the whole photo opportunity; he had demanded that they be photographed in groups of four, while Mister Ford posed individually.
The author--Jim Kuhn--lamented to President Ford that Kuhn had 'really screwed this up for President Carter.'
"No you didn't, young man," Ford said warmly.  "That worked fine."  He grinned at me as if he were confiding a secret.  "I've always said," he told me, "that you can't make chicken salad out of chicken shit."  With that he shook his head.  President Ford made me feel human again.]
While 'boning' the republicRATs on compromises to avert an unnecessary government shut-down in April, 2011 "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist" had this to say:

#####"This is an agreement to investment in our country's future while making the largest spending cut in our history.  Like any compromise this required everyone to give ground on issues that were important to them.  I certainly did.  Some of the cuts we agreed to will be painful--programs that people rely on will be cut back; needed infrastructure projects will be delayed.  And I would not have made these cuts in better circumstances."
###### In June 1982, battles over the federal budget raged.  President Reagan's critics argued that if he would consent to cuts in the defense buildup, there would be more money for domestic spending.  But Reagan was determined to stick to his guns, so to speak.  He believed that only by demonstrating to the Soviets our detyermination to build up our military could we drive them to the bargaining table.  Then, and only then, could the two countries negotiate a reduction in nuclear arms and an end to mutual assured destruction (MAD) which had both counties aiming nuclear weapons at each other as some kind of bizarre deterrence from using them.

This exercise in 'comparative analytics' could go on forever; there's never been a more verbose president than "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist," while "Ronaldus-Magnus" was a man of as few words as necessary; a man of fierce determination and dedication to the Constitution; to the United States; uncompromising in his principles!!  President Reagan was as good for the country in his era as the "Clown Prince" is bad for the country in the current era.

The time has come for the GOP to coalesce behind the candidate most able to defeat the "Clown Prince;" coalescence to the point of having current candidates as members of the incoming president's cabinet.  While each current candidate has his individual flaws; each must take great care not to allow their egos and demands for power to get in the way of the betterment of the country as a whole; betterment of the citizenry in particular.  We've--for the past three years--experienced the detrimental effects of a complete lack of experience coupled with a massive ego!!
Study each candidate very carefully.  Seek both the pros and cons of each candidate's positions on the most pressing issues.  Do a 'pros and cons' chart of each candidate to determine those with the most favorable positions; the fewest unfavorable positions (to you).  Even if one has to "hold-his-nose" it is far better to vote against the Soros candidate (the "Clown Prince"), by voting for the 'less-than-perfect' GOP candidate (much like conservatives did in 2008!)!!!
