This'n'That; October Sixteenth #1; Compromise?!?

How The Hell Did We Get Here?
How did we get--yet again--to the brink of--as the obamacRATics would have you believe--bringing down the entire planetary economy?  The entire debacle can primarily be laid at the feet of the obamacRATics and old-line democRATics., secondarily at the feet of every member of Congress.
Federal law and the U.S. Constitution require that a federal budget be constantly in force.  The process usually starts with the president's (or in the current case, the "Clown Prince's") budget proposals to the Congress.  The Congress then--along with the Senate and the House's budget proposals--merges through compromise, the proposals put forth to end with a federal budget.  Said budget is then sent forward for the ruler's approval [disapproval] and signature into law [veto].  This is the point at which the federal government agrees to spend the taxpayers' money as if it grew on trees and with very little accountability.
Deficit spending--year by year--is generally a collusion between the two houses of Congress and the president.  This really came to bear during "Clown Prince" obama's first two years of reign with an obamacRATically controlled House and Senate.  We were subjected to the socio-fascist spending in TARP, in the Stimulus (PORKulus) as well as the early expenses involved with the major obama fiasco: obamaKare.  As noted in the two pie charts below, the "Clown Prince" and Congress habitually far outspend the treasury's receipts.
[The charts indicate a deficit of $1.09 TRILLION {$1.09 Thousand-Billion!!}]
File:U.S. Federal Receipts - FY 2007.png

File:U.S. Federal Spending - FY 2011.png

The debt ceiling is an entirely different matter.  The federal government--since 1910-1911--has had a national debt of at least $2.765 Billion and in most years--no matter the president or the majority party in Congress--has risen steadily.  The first serious "growth spurt" came between 1930-1940 when FDR tried to buy his way out of the Roosevelt Depression rather than cutting personal income taxes and gettin' ta hell outa the way!!  Not only did FDR continue to spend more-and-more money he didn't have, he did it with personal tax rates of between 25% (1930) and 79% (1940).  Just to illustrate what economic 'Whiz-Kids' the democrats are, WWII ended with a personal tax rate of 94%!!  That means the bracket allowed the earner to only keep a measly six bucks out of every $100 he earned!!  Again no matter the party or regime in power, the federal debt has grown to today's $16.964 TRILLION.  Without a congressionally controlled debt ceiling--as "Clown Prince" obama has actually suggested--one can just imagine how far the socio-fascist obamacRATics would have pushed it JUST in the past five years of obamanomics!!
Now we come to the "surrenderepublicRATs"  the very persons whose spines are as limp as their principles!  We have to await the 'votes-by-name' in both the House and the Senate, but those republicRATs who campaigned on fiscal responsibility must not get away with placating "Clown Prince" obama's enormous ego!!  At the least, each affirmative voting republicRAT MUST be primaried in his/her next election season; every socio-fascist MUST be opposed no matter the chances of success.  The majority of the country is opposed to both obamaKare and raising the debt ceiling!!
That's all I got.

This'n'That; September Fifth #1; Cool?!?

As The Convention Opened....
....as Debbie Wass'er'name Schultz gavelled the obamacRATic National Convention, the debt clock crossed the Sixteen-Trillion-Dollar threshold for the first time; the highest national debt for any country, in any era!!
Remember--no matter who wins in November--there's still a debt ceiling fight to be undertaken between the socio-fascists and the republicRATics!  Unless the republicRATics decide to treat the American taxpayer fairly, the national debt will be pushed far beyond the once unimagined level of Sixteen-Trillion-Dollars!!
Enjoy the rest of your day!!
'Splain to me again why YOU elected this Verdammte Arschloch!?!

This'n'That; January Twenty-Sixth #1: In Just Three Weeks!

owe-bamanomics In 2012
In just the past three-weeks--ALL of January, thusfar--the numbers just keep climbin'!!  "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist" is continuing his race, economic, gender warfare, onward toward a socio-fascist dictatorship:
January 25, 2012, 7:00PM, eastern
Nationwide Bankruptcies to date:      1,425,632
Nationwide Foreclosures to date:         874,459
Nationwide Foodstamp recipients:   47,051,147
NATIONAL DEBT:
Total:                                         $15.275 Trillion
Debt per citizen:                                $48,816
Debt per taxpayer:                            $135,268
NYS (My home state) Total Debt:  $303.619 Billion
Debt per NYS citizen:                          $15,658
NYS Food stamp recipients:               3,086,992
State of Missouri total debt:           $40.901 Billion
Debt per Mo citizen:                             $6,809
Mo Food stamp recipients:                    958,439
The state-level statistics are important because the debt is separate from the owe-bama debt and the per-citizen share must be added to the national per-citizen share.  This means that--at this moment--I owe approximately $64,474, and it's a steady climbin'!!  The "Young Miss Lovely" and I are planning to permanently re-locate to Springfield, Missouri.  When we do, my individual share of a state-level debt will drop by 57+%, to $6,809!!

This'n'That; January Tenth #1; Why Do We....?

Where's The Power?!?
Anyone whose watched any of the hundreds of GOP debates can ask the same question!  Particularly the debates of the past Saturday evening and Sunday morning.  Every question seemed to be phrased to guide the candidate away from the primary object of "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist's" complete failure as president; hell as a mid-level department store manager.
Not only is the topic "debates" wearing out it's welcome but every debate has been controlled either by the owe-bamacRATics, themselves or by proxy through the national pamphleteers.  Nearly every question is designed to pit one candidate against another; the more divisive, the better!!  Every host--moderator--is owe-bamacRATic leaning; every host--moderator--uses snide comments and facial expressions to guide the debate confrontations even more!! I point you toward former "Slick-Willie" mouth-piece George Stephanopoulos, the Saturday evening debate moderator.  "Steffie"  provided us with irrefutable evidence that everything GOP is owe-bamaically slanted.  With owe-bamanomics a proven FAILURE; with the economy in the cellar; with aboslutely NO owe-bama legislation save owe-bamaKare; with a nearly $16 TRILLION national debt; with another nearly $1 TRILLION debt-ceiling increase looming, the most important discussion point "Steffie" could come up with is contraception?!?!?!  He continually guided the candidates back to that point; even when the candidate had a far more important point to discuss!?!?
I'm sure everyone's picked up on the media bias in favor of 'Mitt' Romney; the national pamphleteers reserve "warm-'n'-fuzzy" comments for him while they point out every mis-conception of the other candidates--verification be dammed!!  Mr Romney is the candidate preferred by George Soros and his owe-bama handlers;  he'll be a poor campaigner--telling the public what they want to hear--while "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist" will take a 'middle-of-the-road' approach.  Soros has to be well aware of the verbal 'thumping' a Gingrich, or a Santorum, or a Perry presidential debate will provide "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist!!"  While a "Romney vs owe-bama" debate will be reminiscent of the Bobbsey Twins debating each-other; practically any other GOP candidate would hand the "Clown Prince" his-ass-on-a-silver-platter!!  "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist" is so dependent on the teleprompter, he will be 'tongue-tied' in a serious--topic based--debate!!
The owe-bamacRATic hierarchy as so 'poll-driven,' they miss one important point:  most Americans are so fed-up, so disappointed, so discouraged with the owe-bama Regime, they refuse to be forth-coming with pollsters; telling them whatever they want to hear; whatever will sway the polls in the wrong direction!!
"Tea Party" Movement: Keep the faith!!

"Clown Prince" Weekly Blather; October 29th

A Patriotic Response To The "Clown Prince;" 10/29/2011
barackingham Palace,
District of Corruption,
October 29, 2011
This week, a new economic report confirmed what most Americans already believe to be true: over the past three decades, the middle class has lost ground while the wealthiest few have become even wealthier. In fact, the average income for the top one percent of Americans has risen almost seven times faster than the income of the average middle class family. And this has happened during a period where the cost of everything from health care to college has skyrocketed.  Now, in this country, we don’t begrudge anyone wealth or success – we encourage it. We celebrate it. But America is better off when everyone has had the chance to get ahead – not just those at the top of the income scale. The more Americans who prosper, the more America prospers.  Rebuilding an economy where everyone has the chance to succeed will take time. Our economic problems were decades in the making, and they won’t be solved overnight. But there are steps we can take right now to put people back to work and restore some of the security that middle-class Americans have lost over the last few decades.
[What I'm not telling you:  As usual, most of today's blather is complete fabrication; complete--and bald faced--lies!!  Based on that premise, let's attempt to rewrite today's weekly blather with a modicum of truth.  Here are some facts as researched by some of America's best 'think-tanks:'
During the first decade of the twenty-first century, median income (50% of earners above; 50% below) dropped by 7%;
The wealthiest 20% of households saw their income drop by 16%!;
The remaining wage earners experienced a 25% drop over the same period;
Incomes are expected to rise only 5% in the next decade.
http://www.epi.org/publication/the_state_of_working_americas_wealth_2011/ }
Additionally--under my leadership, or the distinct lack thereof--the collapsed housing bubble cost $6 TRILLION in lost value, with another $2 TRILLION in losses expected in the coming year.  These realized and projected losses equal 53.6% of the current national debt.  How does this affect you, the taxpayer; you, the homeowner?!?  Not only do you, but your children, your grandchildren, your great-grandchildren are responsible for repaying this unconcionable level of national endebtedness;  these same folks are expected to suffer the affects of the monetary losses experienced by the American homeowner.
So in total, JUST the national debt and the housing losses equal $22.9 TRILLION!!
How is that figure even fathomable?!?
How is that figure even repayable?!?
Upon close review of the past two-and-a-half years, you'll find that not only do I "lead from the rear;"  I "lead from the golf course!"  And yet, I demand to be given credit for the demise of the planet's worst miscreants: owe-bama Osama bin Laden, Muammar Gaddafi as well as the ouster of our buddy in Egypt: Hosni Mubarak!  Said review will also reveal my penchant for being the personification of Albert Einstein's definition of insanity.  That definition being: doing the same thing over-and-over, expecting a different result!!  To that end, my regime continued the destined-to-fail TARP bailout authored by that evil President George W. Bush, 43;  then George Soros insisted on the $787 BILLION PORKulus bill to fund the requisite pay-offs for the regime's supporters and contributors as well as the unions' hierarchies.  Then we had that debt-ceiling increase kerfuffle that never should have been approved!  Now we have PORKulus 2.0 disguised as the American Jobs Act.
Not only have these programs not stimulated the jobs market, there will be no stimulation in the near future!  Everything the regime has done, was done in direct defiance of the logic of economics.  The only jobs that can be created by government--at any level--are government jobs!  To acquire funding for owe-bamacRATic policies; the government must either take the same amount of money from the American public or borrow the funds in the name said American public!!  If job creation is the true objective, the most effective path to accomplishment is tax reduction AND regulations-and-rules set-asides or nullifications!]
Right now, Congress can pass a set of common-sense jobs proposals that independent economists tell us will boost the economy right away. Proposals that will put more teachers, veterans, construction workers and first responders back on the job. Proposals that will cut taxes for virtually every middle class family and small business in America. These are the same kinds of proposals that both Democrats and Republicans have supported in the past. And they should stop playing politics and act on them now.  These jobs proposals are also paid for by asking folks who are making more than a million dollars a year to contribute a little more in taxes. These are the same folks who have seen their incomes go up so much, and I believe this is a contribution they’re willing to make. One survey found that nearly 7 in 10 millionaires are willing to step up and pay a little more in order to help the economy.  Unfortunately, Republicans in Congress aren’t paying attention. They’re not getting the message. Over and over, they have refused to even debate the same kind of jobs proposals that Republicans have supported in the past – proposals that today are supported, not just by Democrats, but by Independents and Republicans all across America. And yet, somehow, they found time this week to debate things like whether or not we should mint coins to celebrate the Baseball Hall of Fame. Meanwhile, they’re only scheduled to work three more weeks between now and the end of the year.
[What I'm not telling you:  By January, 2010--the start of my second year of rule--the owe-bamacRATic controlled Senate had held up 290 bills previously approved by the House of Representatives, which was also owe-bamacRATically controlled.  Since the "Tea Party" movement's victory in November, 2010, the Senate has continually held up legislation beneficial to the American economy; not necessarily beneficial to the regime's direction for the United States!
Remember the Rep Louie Gohmert "American Jobs Act of 2011?!?"  Rep Gohmert's proposal is diametrically opposite to my "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist"  'American Jobs Act.'
To date, have there been any negotiations to reconcile the two bills?!?
Absolutely not!!
Why not?!?
I've instructed little 'pinky' reid to not allow them; it's "my way or the highway!!"
If the reader cares to check the referenced URLs above, they'll find that to qualify as one of "the 1%ers" one must have an AGI (adjusted gross income) of $343,927!! The millions and billions of dollars that I elude to as I continue to vilify the the nation's most prosperous citizens is nothing more than my usual 'smoke-screen.'  As is my promotion; the citizenry gets 'a bad taste in their mouths' when they hear 'millions; billions' as it relates to wealth they don't have!   This is an example of 'class-warfare' that actually works!!  Nothing breeds anxiety and anger more than money, or the lack thereof!!]
The truth is, we can no longer wait for Congress to do its job. The middle-class families who’ve been struggling for years are tired of waiting. They need help now. So where Congress won’t act, I will.  This week, we announced a new policy that will help families whose home values have fallen refinance their mortgages and save thousands of dollars. We’re making it easier for veterans to get jobs putting their skills to work in hospitals and community health centers. We reformed the student loan process so more young people can get out of debt faster. And we’re going to keep announcing more changes like these on a regular basis.  These steps will make a difference. But they won’t take the place of the bold action we need from Congress to get this economy moving again. That’s why I need all of you to make your voices heard. Tell Congress to stop playing politics and start taking action on jobs. If we want to rebuild an economy where every American has the chance to get ahead, we need every American to get involved. That’s how real change has always happened, and that’s how it’ll happen today.
[What I'm not telling you:  I know it's tough, but try to bear with me as we reveal the truth--at least part of the truth--behind my policies and the legislative kerfuffles in the Congress.  Revealing that truth about me telling little 'pinky' reid to stall on the republicRAT-passed legislation, was a bit premeature so far as this blather opportunity goes.  Notice how I usually vilify 'the Congress' in my blusterful blatherings?!?  To my advantage, the average American will normally focus on the House of Representatives, not the entire congress.  The Senate is doing my bidding by little 'pinky' reid's stall tactics.
Much to my chagrin the Founding Fathers 'had-it-right' when they debated the merits, then approved the draft of the United States Constitution.  That the document was ratified by the required number of states, buttresses the basic logic contained therein.  The 'checks-and-balances' contained in the document makes my actions very difficult if not unconstitutional!!  The requirement that all financial, monetary legislation originate in the House of Representatives renders my Executive Orders unconstitutional on their face!
Take my Executive Order on student loans as an example:  I've managed to convince most of those with student loans--those educated in American colleges and universities--that my actions will save them untold amounts of money.  In actuality, the average student will save between $4.75 and $7.50 per month!!  Those with huge debt load (above $100k), will save a whooping $28.50 per month.  This is the relatively insignificant amount all those "occupy...." miscreants are demonstrating for!  I wasn't in favor of these demonstrations when George Soros started paying them to show up, nor when the current version of ACORN (with names like New York Communities for Change; New England United for Justice; et al) began aiding them.  The demonstrators are every bit the hypocrite the owe-bama Regime is:  the majority of demonstrators go home or to hotels during the cold, inclement over-night hours!!
Most of my "Executive Order" actions are either another duplication-of-effort, competing with current programs in place or they are a rehash of already-failed plans like the mortgage refinancing plan that very few Americans took advantage of!!   To correct the current housing kerfuffle and to prevent future kerfuffles; eliminate both Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.  The federal government should not be in the student-loan or the mortgage businesses!!  When I took over the student-loan programs, how many small businesses; how many jobs, were destroyed by my actions?!?]

"Clown Prince" Weekly Blather; August 20th

A Patriotic Response To The "Clown Prince;" 08/20/2011
August 20, 2011

[NOT From barackingham Palace]
Alpha, Illinois
Hello from the Country Corner Farm in Alpha, Illinois! For the past few days, I’ve been traveling to small towns and farm towns here in the heartland of this country. I sat down with small business owners in Gutenberg, Iowa; and ranchers and farmers in Peosta. I had lunch with veterans in Cannon Falls, Minnesota; and talked to plant workers at a seed distributor in Atkinson, Illinois. And to the girls volleyball team at Maquoketa High School, let me just say one thing: Go Cardinals.  Now, I’m out here for one reason: I think Washington, DC can learn something from the folks in Atkinson and Peosta and Cannon Falls. I think our country would be a whole lot better off if our elected leaders showed the same kind of discipline and integrity and responsibility that most Americans demonstrate in their lives every day.  Because, the fact is, we’re going through a tough time right now. We’re coming through a terrible recession; a lot of folks are still looking for work. A lot of people are getting by with smaller paychecks or less money in the cash register. So we need folks in Washington – the people whose job it is to deal with the country’s problems, the people who you elected to serve – we need them to put aside their differences to get things done.
[What I'm not telling you: Yea, yea; now that I've pandered to all the groups the "Tour d'Lies" campaign paid to show up at each blather opportunity, let's get on to the hypocracy I find so effective, so refreshing in a communist politician.... like myself!  The 'elected leaders' which includes myself; will not show the kind of discipline, integrity and responsibility I've shown during the past two-years, seven months!  Let's take the result of the recent debt-ceiling legislation as an example:  The owe-bama Regime was given an immediate debt-ceiling increase of $400BILLION.  By the end of the next business day I--by 'I,' I mean the Treasury Department--borrowed a whoopin' 60% of the available monies ($238Billion)!!  In One Day!!  Do the "Tea Party" members of the Congress need more proof that a socialist--nay, a  socio-fascist--should never be given a single-dime without hundreds of restrictions?!?!
Anyone need another example of my discipline, integrity and responsibility?!?  Let's talk about my failed "Dream Act."  Essentially, that legislation would have--secondarily--provided those illegal aliens born here a method to achieve citizenship after college graduation and/or military service.  The primary objective of this legislation was two-fold:  First, it would have provided a pathway toward an amnesty program; secondly--and quite probably, most importantly--the "Dream Act" would have increased the owe-bamacRATic voter-base by hundreds-of-thousands, if not millions!! These numbers don't even consider the thousands of votes the owe-bamacRATics garner through voter intimidation!!
OK...., ok!!  Just one more example:  Given my more-than-dismal approval ratings (south of 40% approval at last reading);  given my complete failure in federal governance, the only things we--George Soros, Valarie Jarrett and myself--can come up with are widening the 'racial divide,' expanding the 'class warfare' we began during the last presidential campaign and vilifying the opposition!! Ta'hell with the populus, the only thing that matters is winning another round as your "Clown Prince; as your Messiah!!"
Oh, I almost forgot!!  Here's something you might not know, primarily cuz I didn't sign it until just before I left on the 'hard-earned,' well deserved, monthly vacation-this time to a $50,000-per-week estate called 'Blue Heron Farm' on Martha's Vineyard.  Before we left I signed Executive Order #13,583:
"Establishing A Coordinated Government-Wide Initiative To Promote Diversity And Inclusion In The Federal Workforce."
This does little more than blatantly expand said 'racial-divide' and racial tensions within the federal workforce.  It does absolutely "zero-point-crap" about the current U-6 unemployment rate approaching 18%!!]
There are things we can do right now that will mean more customers for businesses and more jobs across the country. We can cut payroll taxes again, so families have an extra $1,000 to spend. We can pass a road construction bill so construction crews – now sitting idle – can head back to the worksite, rebuilding roads, bridges, and airports. We’ve got brave, skilled Americans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Let’s connect them with businesses that could use their skills. And let’s pass trade deals to level the playing field for our businesses. We have Americans driving Hyundais and Kias. Well, I want to see folks in Korea driving Fords, Chevys and Chryslers. I want more products sold around the globe stamped with three words: Made in America.  These are commonsense ideas – ideas that have been supported by both Democrats and Republicans. The only thing holding them back is politics. The only thing preventing us from passing these bills is the refusal by some in Congress to put country ahead of party. That’s the problem right now. That’s what’s holding this country back. That’s what we have to change.  Because, for all the knocks we’ve taken, despite all the challenges we face, this is still the greatest country on earth. We still have the best workers and farmers, entrepreneurs and businesses, students and scientists. And you can see that here in Alpha. You can see it along the country roads that connect these small towns and farmlands.
[What I'm not telling you: My careless, disingenuous use of federal spending--i.e., the PORKulus spending fiasco--is what has exacerbated an already-devistating situation: The owe-bama Depression!!  More spending was not the cure in 2009; more spending will not be the cure in 2011 or beyond!!
The 'Soros Philosophy' is heaping federal control upon more federal control over as much of daily American life as is humanly possible!!   The returning military veterans are intelligent enough to have performed their duties with distinction; with valor so why are they not intelligent enough to connect with civilian companies and organizations that can use their unique talents?  They do not need yet additional programs which will essentially impede their searches for areas inwhich to fit in with existing America!
Can you imagine Koreans driving Ford, Chevy or Chryser products?   Now that would be comical if it weren't so sad!!  Primary supporters of my--and Soros';and Jarrett's--socio-fascist policies and programs: the labor and teachers unions share most of the responsibility for this.  Both--in their respective areas--have driven up costs while driving down quality:  Comparatively, the average American high school graduation rate is dismal when compared with any Asian school system!!  The labor unions have driven up wage and benefits expenses to the level as to be unaffordable in today's world demanding cost-control, product quality and manufacturing efficiencies.  In short: Why would the Korean people opt for an American vehicle when their own monikers have the quality levels that U.S.-made vehicles had in the -fifties and -sixties!  Product selection is a whole-nuther matter.  Take Chevy's VOLT for instance.  I demanded--as owner of General (or Government) Motors--that they develop and market an electric vehicle.  That proves that messiahs don't know shit about the economy or the public's preferences!!  July, 2011's sales were but 115 vehicles-NATIONWIDE!!
As for the "Made in America" philosophy:  That's gone the way of the buggy-whip!!  NAFTA, the US tax code, among other negatives, have more-or-less killed that idea.  Take General Electric as an example:  In 2010, that corporation made a profit of $14.2BILLION while paying aboslutely zero, zip, nadda in federal taxes.  Why, you ask?!?  They managed to keep $9++BILLION off-shore!  Not only did they not pay a single dime in taxes, your federal government gave them a $3.2BILLION tax credit against future earnings!!! Another interesting little tidbit:  I gave General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt a do-nothing, no-show position in the regime: that of "Jobs Czar" as a partial pay-off for his monetary support, as well as his less-than-subtle campaigning among GE employees during the last presidential election season.
Still, I can and will, use all these topics as well as others, to vilify those evil, obstructionist republicRATics and "Tea Party" members of Congress!  Here again, I--and the Soros/Jarrett/owe-bama Regime--have been a complete failure with respect to improving the economy, improving the unemployment rates, improving the jobs market and jobs creation, et al!!  We've been a complete success in advancing the communistic, socio-fascist policies of Saul Alinsky and Frank Marshall Davis!!]
These past few days, I’ve been seeing little kids with American flags and grandparents in lawn chairs. I’ve shaken hands with folks outside machine shops and churches, corner stores and farms. It reminds me why I got into public service in the first place. Getting out of Washington and spending time with the people of this country – seeing how hard you’re working, how creative you are, how resourceful you are, how determined you are – that only makes me more determined to serve you as best I can as President. And it only makes me more confident in our future.  That’s why it’s so important that folks in Washington put country before party. That’s why it’s so important that our elected leaders get past their differences to help grow the economy and put this nation back to work. Because here in Alpha it couldn’t be more clear: if we can come together, there’s no stopping the United States of America. There’s no doubt that our future is bright.
[What I'm not telling you: I got into public service due to the principles of communism, socio-fascism; NOT anything to do with Americans or America!  I have a vindetta against that same philosophy of freedom, liberty and American individualism which made this country great.  The largest part of the reason is the shabby way my father was treated by the U.S. Government when he tried to stay here while persuing--and achieving--his advanced degrees.  I've always claimed an affinity with; an attachment to middle-class America.  One claim-to-fame is my growing up in a broken home, raised by a divorced mother.  Neither of these points are true in the whole.  I idolized my father even though he didn't give "two-hoots-in-hell" about me; having visited me just once in my lifetime-when I was ten-years-old.  For those who don't know, he was an upper-level employee in the Kenyan government for years, developing socio-fascist, communistic policies of oppression.  I've modeled much of my thinking along his lines of thought!!
Speaking of 'growing the economy and putting the nation back to work;'  How 'bout that Rick Perry, aye?!?   Now there's a guy who doesn't mind saying what's on his mind!!  We've got to insist that the owe-bamedia and the 'KoolAid drinkers' promote someone like that dismal Willard Romney--someone I have the potential to beat!  I--as well as the rest of the Regime--fear that an owe-bama vs Perry race would not end well....er for us anyway!]

This'n'That; November 14th [Economy; Politics]

Is There Any Direction BUT DOWN? Recent reports indicate that first-time unemployment filings rose to 516,000. This number has pushed the unemployment rate to 6.5%. Unemployment is not expected to decline until the estimated peak rate of 9.0% is reached sometime in 2010. Maybe It's Time To Return To The "Misery Index" The "Misery Index" is an economic indicator created in the late 1960s by Arthur Okun, an economic advisor to President Johnson. The index is determined by adding the unemployment rate and the inflation rate. It assumed that both a higher rate of unemployment or a worsening of inflation both create economic and social costs of the [or any] country. So, to determine the current "Misery Index" we must add: The unemployment rate: 6.5% The inflation rate: 4.94% ---------- " Misery Index" 11.44 An unintended indicator: Some economists contend that the components of the "Misery Index" drive the crime rate to a dregree. They've found that the "Misery Index" and the crime rate correlate strongly and that the "Misery Index" seems to lead the crime rate by a year or so. I found a chart that ranks all the Presidents since World War II, with the lowest rank indicating the lowest average "Misery Ranking:" ** #1 Dwight Eisenhower [1953-1960] 6.26 #2 Lyndon Johnson [1963-1968] 6.78 #3 John Kennedy [1961-1962] 7.27 #4 William Clinton [1993-2000] 7.80 #5 Harry Truman [1948-1952] 7.87 #6 George Bush [2001-2005] 7.98 #7 Richard Nixon [1969-1973] 9.98 #8 George H.W. Bush [1989-1992] 10.68 #9 Ronald Reagan [1981-1988] 12.19 #10 Gerald Ford [1974-1976] 15.93 #11 James Carter [1977-1980] 16.27 Obamanyms [One can't understand the game without a playbook] OBAMAPHORIA: A worldwide euphoria that spread over his supporters. OBAMANATION: Expressed by evangelicals and other conservatives who opposed many of his stances. OBAMARAMA: The Inauguration Day celebrations. OBAMANOS: "Let's go" among his fans in Mexico. OBAMATOPIA: The political paradise supporters expect him to usher in late on the afternoon of January 20th. OBAMALUJAH: Exultation shouted by his fans. OBAMATRONS: The "policy wonks" in his White House. OBAMASCOPE: Media scrutiny of the new leader. OBAMANATOR: Hollywood nickname for the new leader. OBAMALICIOUS: Term used by supporters who like his looks. OBAMALOHA: Goodbye from his birthplace, Hawaii. Oh-BAMA: Joyful exclamation. OBAMERIKA: Headline from the Croatian paper; Slobodna Dalmacija. BARACKSTAR: He's the "Mick Jagger" of politics. What PEBO Is Up Against PEBO is inheriting the ongoing economic crisis and a two-front war. Lest we forget biden's forecast of PEBO test by crisis!! He started rolling back his "pie-in-the-sky" promises during his election night acceptance speech. "Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even in one term." Research by Harold Holzer, author of Lincoln, President-Elect, indicates that 'the most successful transformative presidencies were patient between the election and the inauguration.' Here We Go..... Next week the congress returns. They will meet to finish remaining business before the 110th Congress. In September, the House passed a $57 billion stimulus package which was to focus primarily on infrastructure projects. The previous stimulus was $150 billion; the one that sent checks to American Taxpayers. The infrastructure stimulus package should have a net positive effect on the economy. A major problem with this action is that it requires MORE DEFICIT SPENDING. ***As of November 11, 2008, then National Debt is $10.6 TRILLION!! What most taxpayers don't know is that the THIRD LARGEST EXPENSE in the federal budget is the interest paid on the National Debt [2008=$412 billion]!! The LARGEST SINGLE ITEM in the budget is social spending; welfare, food stamps, etc. "For society as a whole, nothing comes as a 'right' to which we are 'entitled.' Even bare subsistence has to be produced.... The only way anyone can have a right to something that has to be produced is to force someone else to produce it.... The more things are provided as 'rights,' the less the recipients have to work and the more the providers have to carry the load." ............................Dr Thomas Sewell, economist, columnist for Forbes Magazine. EVERY YEAR SINCE 1969, Congress has spent more money than it's income!! Even when governmentofficials say they have a surplus, they still SPEND MORE THAN THEY TAKE IN!! We pay interest on a very large debt. "A politician cannot spend one dime on any spending project without first taking that dime from the person who earned it. So, when a politician votes for a spending bill he is saying that he believes the government should spend that particular dollar rather than the individual who worked for it." ...............................................Neal Boortz, national talkshow host, WSB-Atlanta. "There is no such thing as government money-ONLY TAXPAYER MONEY." .............................William Weld, Former Governor of Massachusetts. Til Nex'time....................
