This'n'That; December Thirty-First #2; obama-Douglass

obama And Frederick Douglass Wouldn't Be Friends!
I'm a voracious reader of nearly any topic; nearly any writer.  One of my favorites is Dr Thomas Sowell who writes columns for several publications.  One of my most disliked is "Clown Prince"--Barry Soetoro--obama, a person who's had not even a passing acquaintance with the truth, except as it's misconstrued within communism and his own brand of socio-fascism.
Here, read this Frederick Douglass quote I found on Dr Sowell's site (1/2-way down the page):

Everybody has asked the question. . .
"What shall we do with the Negro?"
I have had but one answer from the beginning.
Do nothing with us!
Your doing with us has already played the mischief with us.
Do nothing with us!
If the apples will not remain on the tree of their own strength, if they are wormeaten at the core, if they are early ripe and disposed to fall, let them fall!
I am not for tying or fastening them on the tree in any way, except by nature's plan, and if they will not stay there, let them fall.
And if the Negro cannot stand on his own legs, let him fall also.
All I ask is, give him a chance to stand on his own legs!
Let him alone!
--Frederick Douglass

Can anyone imagine the "Clown Prince" befriending Mr Douglass, were he alive today?!?  We can see the mistreatment 'Arschloch obama' has foisted upon the negro individual, the negro family.  When his predecessors expanded the "taker-class" of the Lyndon Johnson era from exclusively negro to any race that agrees to vote obamaKRATic in any future elections, the "Clown" gladly continued the tradition.
I find it difficult--given my readings of history--that Mr Frederick Douglass would ever elect to be a republican as these quotes indicate:

I am a Republican, a black, dyed in the wool Republican, and I never intend to belong to any other party than the party of freedom and progress.
--Frederick Douglass
....and this:

I recognize the Republican party as the sheet anchor of the colored man's political hopes and the ark of his safety.
--Frederick Douglass

If only we could get "Clown Prince" obama to renounce his allegiance to the teachings of Saul Alinsky; to renounce his communist, his marxist, his socio-fascist standards of governance and stand on HIS OWN TWO FEET; to break away from the support and dominance provided by The Bilderberg Group, how much better would the country as a whole--and the "Taker-Class" in particular--be for it?!?
Your comments?

This'n'That; September Fifth #2; Convention Speech

Excerpts From Michelle "Antoinette's" Speech
Last night, September Fourth, Michelle "Antoinette" made a feeble attempt at keeping her husband, "Clown Prince" obama as the nation's--latest and most--socio-fascist ruler, in office.  As they always do, she verbally paraded victims of those evil President George W. Bush middle-eastern wars to garner feelings of actual support; didn't work with me!!  'Just for the fun of it,' let's have a look at some selected--verbatim--quotes from her blather opportunity:
"....he was the guy whose proudest possession was a coffee table he'd found in a dumpster, and whose only pair of decent shoes was half a size too small."
Really, Michelle?!?  You're gonna say that, unbelievable as it is?!?  He was more proud of a beat-up coffee table over a degree from Harvard Law?!? More proud of a beat-up coffee table over his 'Saul Alinsky discipleship' as a community agitator?!?  Come-ON!!  Some of us were born at night, but it wasn't LAST NIGHT!!
Do as you're told!!
"Barack knows the American Dream because he’s lived it … and he wants everyone in this country to have that same opportunity, no matter who we are, or where we’re from, or what we look like, or who we love."

Were I one of Michelle "Antoinette's" speechwriters, I'm not so sure I'd have included the aforementioned statements in the blather.  The obamacRATic policies have been to increase foodstamp participation as much, and as quickly as possible.  In that vein, "Clown Prince" obama eased the work requirements for participation--a massage is now considered work!  Good work, if ya can get it!!  Her husband took the unemployment rate from the 7.0% range [Jan, 2009] to the obama-high--so far--to 10.0% [Oct, 2009] to finally settle at the current--unacceptable--rate of 8.3% [July, 2012].  Many more statistics--mostly negative to the current regime--can be found here.

"He ["Clown Prince" obama] did it [health care reform] because he believes that here in America, our grandparents should be able to afford their medicine.... our kids should be able to see a doctor when they're sick.... and no one in this country should ever go broke because of an accident or illness."
obamaKare is bearing out to be the greatest income re-distribution scheme in American--if not WORLD--history.  The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates now peg the cost of obamaKare at $1.76 TRILLION; that's ANOTHER $1.76 Trillion that has to be borrowed from the Chinese!!  That aside, it's against federal law to deny ANYONE service at a public hospital emergency room; everyone has health care... that you and I pay for!!
"The letter.... from the woman dying of cancer whose insurance company wouldn't cover her care...."

Stephanie Cutter used this to illustrate the uncaring Governor Mitt Romney but it backfired and "Clown Prince" obama had more negative conservative press to ignore.  With conservative talk-radio and the single conservative television network gaining listener- and viewership on a daily basis, the "Clown Prince" would be an even greater fool to continue to ignore them!
Carter:  "This Guy's makin' me look good!"
GAWD!!  This is not only tough--to re-read the transcript--it's boring; there's no changing a devout socio-fascist!  I think Clint Eastwood hit-the-nail-on-the-head with this excerpt from his RNC speech:
"....and I think possibly now it may be time for somebody else to come along and solve the problem."

Mister Eastwood and I are of like mind!
'Splain to me again why YOU elected this Verdammte Arschloch!?!

This'n'That; February Fifteenth #1; The REAL reason....

Research Led Me To....
In researching the next post (Fifteenth #2) I came upon 38 quotes by one of the most famous marxists of all time:  Vladimir Lenin.  In reviewing the list (see URL, below) I've found distinct similarities between the Lenin quotes and the Soros--and by extension, owe-bama--methods of governance.  Here's just a few of the observed similarities:
"Fascism is capitalism in decay."
Now we know the REAL reason for the intention destruction of 'The American Dream;' the destruction of the American economy as a whole.
"Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted."
"Give us the child for 8 years and it will be a Bolshevik forever."
Now we know the REAL reason for the Department of Education.
Now we know the REAL reason for the lacklustre student performance--on average,--nationwide.
Now we know the REAL reason instructional staff and the teachers' unions at every level, refuse to consider learning benchmarks, doing away with tenure, advancement and/or compensation by merit, et al.
"It is true that liberty is precious; so precious that it must be carefully rationed."
Now we know the REAL reason--with blather to the opposite--the regime continually thwarts the growth; the very life of businesses at every level.
Now we know the REAL reason the regime continually adds regulations costing businesses and individuals billions-of-dollars annually, thus reducing 'liberty' at every level.
Now we know the REAL reason for 'Fast and Furious;' to falsely claim that more 'gun control' is needed.
Now we know the REAL reason for CFPB-the American citizen is too stupid to have the liberty to administer his/her finances/credit.
"One man with a gun can control 100 without one."
Now we know the REAL reason for the incessant attacks on the Second Amendment by regime activists.  Keep the proletariat 'as defenseless as possible!'
"Our program necessarily includes the propaganda of atheism."
Now we know the REAL reason for the obfuscations of 'separation of church and state.'
Now we know the REAL reason for court rulings--at all levels--against religious expression.
Now we know the REAL reason for theregime's forced 'Catholic contraception' edicts.
"The best way to destroy the capitalist system is to debauch the currency."
Now we know the REAL reason for the $787 BILLION PORKulus legislation.
Now we know the REAL reason for the constantly growing national debt.
Now we know the REAL reason for the constantly growing annual deficits.
Now we know the REAL reason for the Federal Reserve's continual printing of additional currency.
"The press should not only be a collective propagandist and a collective agitator, but also a collective organizer of the masses."
Now we know the REAL reason the national media has reduced itself to 'pamphleteers.'
Now we know the REAL reason the national pamphleteers continually refuse to report anything negative about the Soros--the owe-bama--regime.
Now we know the REAL reason the national pamphleteers continually denegrate anything 'conservative.'
Now we know the REAL reason the national pamphleteers falsely report negative information about the "Tea Party" Movement.
Now we know the REAL reason for the Soros creation/funding of 80++ socio-fascist websites.
'"The way to crush the [middle-class] is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation."
Now we know the REAL reason for the regime's insistance on higher taxes through class warfare.
Now we know the REAL reason for the regime's intentional misunderstanding of basic economics; nearly every regime fiscal action will create or increase inflation.
"There are no morals in politics; there is only expedience.  A scoundrel may be of use to us just because he is a scoundrel."
Now we know the REAL reason for the continued friendship between owe-bama and reverend Jeremiah Wright.
Now we know the REAL reason for the continued friendship between owe-bama and Bill Ayers.
Now we know the REAL reason for the continued friendship between owe-bama and Bernadine Dohrn.
Now we know the REAL reason for the continued friendship between owe-bama and Tony Resko.
Now we know the REAL reason for the continued friendship between owe-bama and jailed ex-governor Rod Blagojevich.
....and on, and on, and on, and on, ad infinitum!!!

The Sunday "Report;" 10/16/2011

What The National Pamphleteers Don't Report:
Obama’s Jobs Panel’s Recommendations Infested by Conflicts of Interest to Benefit GE
National Center for Public Policy Research
Reacting to the recommendation by President Obama’s jobs panel, chaired by GE CEO Jeff Immelt, that additional federal funds be dedicated to clean energy development, today policy experts from the National Center for Public Policy Research are calling attention to the conflicts of interest surrounding this advice.
“Immelt’s recommending more money for clean energy is a clear conflict of interest. GE has significant investments in solar panels and wind turbines and Immelt needs government backing to profit from his company’s investment in renewable energy. This is an outrageous example of crony capitalism at work,”said Tom Borelli,Ph.D.,director of the National Center for Public Policy Research’s Free Enterprise Project.
The interim report,“Taking Action,Building Confidence,” by the President’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, makes five recommendations to spur job growth. The first initiative,“Invest Aggressively and Efficiently in Cutting-Edge Infrastructure and Energy,” calls for government support to improve the country’s energy infrastructure and a new federal financing institution funded with $1 to $2 billion per year to amplify clean energy investments.  “The Solynda scandal proves the federal government can’t successfully function [....]

Former NY Governor’s Daughter Puts Abusive Boyfriend in the Hospital
by Victoria Uwumarogie
October 3rd, 2011
If  "What’s Love Got to Do With It?"  taught us anything, it’s that a woman can take so much foolery before she snaps back–and in a big way. Such is also true for the stepdaughter of former New York governor David Paterson. Ashley Dennis, 23, was arrested this weekend for clocking her boyfriend, Brian McGuinness, 30, over the head with a bottle. According to reports, when a heated argument turned physical in McGuinness’ West Village apartment around 4:45 a.m. on Saturday morning, the 30-year-old man (who should know better), tried to choke out Dennis. She allegedly picked up a nearby bottle and proceeded to break it over his head. Afterwards, she took [....]

Jimmy Hoffa and Feds Scheme to Control Teamsters
by John Ransom
TownHall.com
October 15, 2011
Fred Gegare, who is challenging Teamsters president Jimmy Hoffa in elections this month to head up the transport union, says that Hoffa and the US government are colluding to control the union by the use of intimidation.  If true, the allegations could mean that 50 years of work trying to rid unions of mob influence has come to an end.  Hoffa and the Justice Department, says Gegare, have abused a decades-old consent decree, “which was once used to remove mobsters two decades ago, [but] is now being used to target [Hoffa’s] critics” through a “rogue investigative unit set up by the decree.”  The result, according to Gegare, is a dwindling treasury and deficit spending from the union that is leaving the Teamsters in the red. In part, the financial difficulties have stemmed from an unprecedented spending spree, putting the union in debt and threatening the negotiating power of the union.  “Instead of buying pretty dresses and designer shoes,” says Gegare, “[Hoffa] put a stable of personal assistants and high-priced consultants on the Teamster payroll. Their jobs are to do little else than satisfy the every whim of James Phillip [Hoffa] and the rest of the Hoffa family.”  According to a statement [....]

Hank Williams Jr. wrote a new song about Fox News and ESPN
By Chris Chase
October 10, 2011
Are you ready for some vengeance, vapid lyricism and strained rhyming patterns?
Hank Williams Jr. is releasing a new song entitled "I'll Keep My ...," in which he calls out ESPN and Fox News after his remarks about President Barack Obama and Adolf Hitler on "Fox and Friends" led to his dismissal from the "Monday Night Football" theme song after 23 years.  The country music singer wrote the song on Friday and is scheduled to release it late Monday or early Tuesday. In its third verse, he takes issue with how Fox took his words  [....]

Satchel Paige Quotes
[For those who don't know, Satchel (Leroy Robert) Paige (1906-1982) was a phenomenal pitcher in the old 'Negro Leagues,' as well as the minor and major leagues.  For Mr Paige's stats, see URLs below.]
"Age is a question of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter."

"I ain't ever had a job, I just always played baseball."
"I don't generally like running. I believe in training by rising gently up and down from the bench."
"I never rush myself. See, they can't start the game without me."
"I use my single windup, my double windup, my triple windup, my hesitation windup, my no windup. I also use my step-n-pitch-it, my submariner, my sidearmer and my bat dodger. Man's got to do what he's got to do."
"If a man can beat you, walk him."
"It's funny what a few no-hitters do for a body."
"My feet ain't got nothing to do with my nickname, but when folks get it in their heads that a feller's got big feet, soon the feet start looking big."
"One time I snuck a ball on with me and when I went to winding up, I threw one of them balls to first and one to second. I was so smooth I picked off both runners and fanned the batter without that ump or the other team even knowing it."
"The only change is that baseball has turned Paige from a second class citizen to a second class immortal."
"There never was a man on earth who pitched as much as me. But the more I pitched, the stronger my arm would get."
"When a batter swings and I see his knees move, I can tell just what his weaknesses are then I just put the ball where I know he can't hit it."
"Ain’t no man can avoid being born average, but there ain’t no man got to be common."
"I never threw an illegal pitch. The trouble is, once in a while I would toss one that ain’t never been seen by this generation."
"Just take the ball and throw it where you want to. Throw strikes. Home plate don’t move."
"They said I was the greatest pitcher they ever saw…I couldn’t understand why they couldn’t give me no justice."
"Don't look back. Something might be gaining on you."
"Don't pray when it rains if you don't pray when the sun shines."
"How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?"
"Money and women. They're two of the strongest things in the world. The things you do for a woman you wouldn't do for anything else. Same with money."
"Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching."
"You win a few, you lose a few. Some get rained out. But you got to dress for all of them."
"My pitching philosophy is simple; you gotta keep the ball off the fat part of the bat."
"Mother always told me, if you tell a lie, always rehearse it. If it don't sound good to you, it won't sound good to no one else."
"Don't eat fried food, it angries up the blood."

Understanding Poverty in the United States: Surprising Facts About America's Poor
By Robert Rector
Rachel Sheffield

September 13, 2011
Executive Summary
Today, the Census Bureau released its annual poverty report, which declared that a record 46.2 million persons, or roughly one in seven Americans, were poor in 2010. The numbers were up sharply from the previous year’s total of 43.6 million. Although the current recession has increased the numbers of the poor, high levels of poverty predate the recession. In most years for the past two decades, the Census Bureau has declared that at least 35 million Americans lived in poverty.
However, understanding poverty in America requires looking behind these numbers at the actual living conditions of the individuals the government deems to be poor. For most Americans, the word “poverty” suggests near destitution: an inability to provide nutritious food, clothing, and reasonable shelter for one’s family. However, only a small number of the 46 million persons classified as “poor” by the Census Bureau fit that description. While real material hardship certainly does occur, it is limited in scope and severity.  The following are facts about [....]

9 things you didn’t know about the life of Steve Jobs
By Taylor Hatmaker, Tecca
Today in Tech
October 6, 2011
For all of his years in the spotlight at the helm of Apple, Steve Jobs in many ways remains an inscrutable figure — even in his death. Fiercely private, Jobs concealed most specifics about his personal life, from his curious family life to the details of his battle with pancreatic cancer — a disease that ultimately claimed him on Wednesday, at the age of 56.  While the CEO and co-founder of Apple steered most interviews away from the public fascination with his private life, there's plenty we know about Jobs the person, beyond the Mac and the iPhone. If anything, the obscure details of his interior life paint a subtler, more nuanced portrait of how one of the finest technology minds of our time grew into the dynamo that we remember him as today.
1. Early life and childhood
Jobs was born in San Francisco on February 24, 1955. He was [....]

Occupy Wall Street: Blame yourself
by Herman Cain
October 09, 2011
I'm not surprised I got a question like this from Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC. Given the mindset of Mr. O'Donnell and most of his colleagues, it's to be expected that he would cite my statement – that Occupy Wall Street protesters have only themselves to blame if they are unemployed or lacking wealth – and ask if I wanted to apologize for saying so.
Not a chance.
In fact, I would add this: Anyone who abandons these protests and tries taking my advice is almost certain to end up better off. That's because it's empowering to you when you stop blaming other people for your situation, and start taking responsibility for yourself.  Another name the OWS protesters use for themselves is the 99 percent. This is in contrast to the 1 percent of the population whose greater wealth they resent. Their premise is that the 1 percent has been exploiting them, and now the 99 percent is fighting back.
Well …
No one has to tell me about the challenges involved with pursuing success when you are born without a lot of advantages, or to a family without a lot of money. That is the story of my life. I achieved success in business because I worked hard, studied hard, set goals, honed my strategy, weathered setbacks and kept at it no matter what. Sometimes those setbacks occurred because, at least it seemed to me, someone didn't treat me fairly. But I quickly learned that this, too, is part of life. Complaining about it won't help you. Devising strategies to overcome it will.
Pursuing a strategy for personal success is very much like the work a CEO does. A good CEO has to recognize the right opportunities and develop strategies to take advantage of them. There are always problems along the way, of course, so a good CEO has to identify the right problems and work on them effectively so as to overcome them and claim the desired reward.  In my book, "CEO of Self," I explain that each individual has to run his or her own life in much the same way. One of the most important things  [....]
