This'n'That; September Sixth #1; Michelle 'Antoinette'

Rush Did It Better!!
I took my turn at analyzing Michelle "Antoinette's" September Fourth blather at the DNC attendees.  I shudd'a waited; Rush Limbaugh did a far better job than I!  You can catch his pithy comments here.
I'll quote a caller--Kevin from Sterling Heights, Michigan--to Rush's show on the topic:
CALLER [after doing his own research]:  Mmmm.  I also started wondering about Michelle herself, and I discovered they were living in her aunt's house at the same time that they were taking vacations at a cottage that they owned in White Cloud, Michigan.  And Michelle's as old as I am.  Now, she would have been of school-age during the Jimmy Carter years, and I'll tell you what:  My family couldn't have afforded a cottage anywhere (chuckles) when Jimmy Carter was president.
RUSH: (laughing)
CALLER:  I just found the whole thing to be very contrived.
Mr Limbaugh then took a call from "Mary, from Houston, Texas" who compared the obamas to the Perons of Argentina!!  All-in-all, a very enlightening segment!
Given that the "Clown Princess'" blather was liberally laced with fabricated narrative, I found some quotes--well, two--that might serve her well:
"One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors."
--Plato, ancient Greek Philosopher; 428-348 B.C.

"If you tell a lie big enough and keept repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.  The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the prople from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie.  It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.
Dr (Peter) Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Minister of Public Enlightenment and Propoganda; 1897-1945.

"The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly--it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over." Ibid.
Enjoy Rush's--and his callers'--commentary!!
Til Nex'Time....
Oh, by the way:  These photos were in the same segment!!

This'n'That; September Fifth #2; Convention Speech

Excerpts From Michelle "Antoinette's" Speech
Last night, September Fourth, Michelle "Antoinette" made a feeble attempt at keeping her husband, "Clown Prince" obama as the nation's--latest and most--socio-fascist ruler, in office.  As they always do, she verbally paraded victims of those evil President George W. Bush middle-eastern wars to garner feelings of actual support; didn't work with me!!  'Just for the fun of it,' let's have a look at some selected--verbatim--quotes from her blather opportunity:
"....he was the guy whose proudest possession was a coffee table he'd found in a dumpster, and whose only pair of decent shoes was half a size too small."
Really, Michelle?!?  You're gonna say that, unbelievable as it is?!?  He was more proud of a beat-up coffee table over a degree from Harvard Law?!? More proud of a beat-up coffee table over his 'Saul Alinsky discipleship' as a community agitator?!?  Come-ON!!  Some of us were born at night, but it wasn't LAST NIGHT!!
Do as you're told!!
"Barack knows the American Dream because he’s lived it … and he wants everyone in this country to have that same opportunity, no matter who we are, or where we’re from, or what we look like, or who we love."

Were I one of Michelle "Antoinette's" speechwriters, I'm not so sure I'd have included the aforementioned statements in the blather.  The obamacRATic policies have been to increase foodstamp participation as much, and as quickly as possible.  In that vein, "Clown Prince" obama eased the work requirements for participation--a massage is now considered work!  Good work, if ya can get it!!  Her husband took the unemployment rate from the 7.0% range [Jan, 2009] to the obama-high--so far--to 10.0% [Oct, 2009] to finally settle at the current--unacceptable--rate of 8.3% [July, 2012].  Many more statistics--mostly negative to the current regime--can be found here.

"He ["Clown Prince" obama] did it [health care reform] because he believes that here in America, our grandparents should be able to afford their medicine.... our kids should be able to see a doctor when they're sick.... and no one in this country should ever go broke because of an accident or illness."
obamaKare is bearing out to be the greatest income re-distribution scheme in American--if not WORLD--history.  The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates now peg the cost of obamaKare at $1.76 TRILLION; that's ANOTHER $1.76 Trillion that has to be borrowed from the Chinese!!  That aside, it's against federal law to deny ANYONE service at a public hospital emergency room; everyone has health care... that you and I pay for!!
"The letter.... from the woman dying of cancer whose insurance company wouldn't cover her care...."

Stephanie Cutter used this to illustrate the uncaring Governor Mitt Romney but it backfired and "Clown Prince" obama had more negative conservative press to ignore.  With conservative talk-radio and the single conservative television network gaining listener- and viewership on a daily basis, the "Clown Prince" would be an even greater fool to continue to ignore them!
Carter:  "This Guy's makin' me look good!"
GAWD!!  This is not only tough--to re-read the transcript--it's boring; there's no changing a devout socio-fascist!  I think Clint Eastwood hit-the-nail-on-the-head with this excerpt from his RNC speech:
"....and I think possibly now it may be time for somebody else to come along and solve the problem."

Mister Eastwood and I are of like mind!

Who Will The "Clown Prince" Pimp-Out Next?!?
Now that "Clown Prince" owe-bama has pimped out your wife; pimped out your husband
http://www.barackobama.com/news/entry/the-obama-event-registry?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
in his effort to boost the "I Need 4 More Years To Fix What I Broke" campaign coffers with your wedding gifts' values, what will he do next?!?
    A couple of possibilities are:
1.  Pimp-out "Michelle Antoinette" for a donation of.... say $50, to 'entertain' at your bachelor party or your office party, or
2.  Pimp-out the daughters for a donation of.... say $75-EACH, to appear at your child's birthday party.

This'n'That; June Fourth #1; Cordial Jabs!

President (43), Mrs Bush's Portraits Unveiled
Late last week, President George W. Bush's official White House portait was unveiled amid his familiar humor:
"Thank you so much for inviting all my rowdy friends to my hanging."
"(To the invited guests:) Behave yourselves!"
"It (the White House official portrait collection) now starts and ends with a 'George W.'"
"(To Clown Prince owe-bama:) As you wander the halls, wrestling with tough decisions, you could always gaze at this portrait and ask, 'What would George do?'"
Until Ann Romney assumes the position as the nation's "First Lady," Laura Welch Bush will remain my first choice of 'Nicest, most regal first lady, EVER!'
Mrs Bush's portrait was unveiled during the same ceremony.  Just 'tween you-and-me, this portrait certainly doesn't look much like Mrs Bush's photos:
Mrs Bush thanked the White House staff that made her family's stay in 'the nation's house' a pleasant one.

Not long after the Bush 'Hanging,' "Clown Prince" owe-bama and "Michelle Antoinette" owe-bama submitted their photos as references in painting portraits for their upcoming hanging.... NO!!  I mean in the barackingham Palace 'owe-bama wing' of the portrait gallery:

This'n'That; May Fourth #1; "Forward?!?"

Who's Spending Who's Money?!?
The latest distractionary kerfuffle involves ladies' wear.
Apparently Ann Romney can not spend HER OWN MONEY on whatever fashionable attire she wants.
Apparently "Michelle Antoinette" can spend THE TAXPAYERS' MONEY on those fashionable pieces she desires.
So.... what's "the big stink," here?!?  Creating a distraction with the cost of a single top worn by Mrs Romney while ignoring the "Clown Princess" carrying a purse by the same designer--with a comparative cost--or the $2,250 jacket in said "Clown Princess's" closet?!?
WES GORDON - 1
Said $2,250 Jacket in Michelle Antoinette's closet
(Check out her jacket: there ain't four-bucks worth of material there!!)
The "big stink" should be the entitlement attitude the owe-bamas continually display since moving into barackingham Palace; contrasted with the Romney Family's self-sufficiency in spending their own money on whatever baubles they choose!!  The baubles the owe-bamas tend to buy are "million-dollar plane rides" to their monthly vacation destinations; half-million-dollar" vacation excursions for 25-30 of their closest supporters.  The owe-bamas rarely reference the source of said money, which is usually the American taxpayer!!  The Romney Family doesn't have access to taxpayer funds so they spend their own money!!  Who-the-hell-cares how they spend their money; it's theirs to spend as they choose!!  Nearly everone cares how the owe-bamas spend money; it ain't theirs, they didn't earn it although they believe they're entitled to it!!
"We're entitled; You owe us!!"
Ok boys'n'girls.... who'd ya rather have as a ruler:
Someone who--verifiably--created hundreds-of-thousands of jobs or someone who preaches about the jobs he's saved without explaining the rationale for defining 'saved'?!?
Someone who saved at least one major corporation (Staples) or someone whose EPA created mountains of red-tape to hinder business growth?!?
Someone who saved an international event from bankruptcy (the 2002 Olympics=$100 million PROFIT) or someone who increased foodstamp recipients by 65% (2008-30.3million>>2012-46.6million)?!?
....and on, and on, and on, et al!
The inept clowns on the owe-bama re-immaculation campaign have chosen "Forward" as the slogan to replace the unfulfilled "Hope'n'Change," or more accurately: 'Hopeless Change.'
Given: the owe-bamaKare cram-down, against the wishes of 60+% of the American citizenry, and
Given: $52 Billion in Social Security revenues being double-counted; Medicare was reduced by $500 Billion to make owe-bamaKare seem more palatable-more financially viable, and
Given: gas pump prices are up 110% since the owe-bama immaculation, and
Given: the economy tanked since the owe-bama immaculation, and
Given: the owe-bama Regime took over (read: socialized) most of the U.S. auto industry, and
Given: the owe-bama Regime brought about the $787billion of PORKulus bail-out funds, and
Given: the owe-bama Regime's "green-energy" program translates to payoffs to campaign donors, supporters and workers, and
Given: the owe-bama Regime increased the national debt more than all previous presidents COMBINED, and
Given: the owe-bama re-immaculation effort has had more fundraisers than all presidents COMBINED from Jimmuh Cahtah forward, and on, and on!!
Why-in-hell would the sensible voter, the average American citizen want to move 'forward?!?'  The owe-bama 'forward' would continue--more accurately, increase--the move into federal socialism.  The owe-bama 'forward' would continue his circumvention of the U.S. Constitution in favor of a "Bilderberg Group" solution; a Soros path toward a one-world government; a one-world economy; a one-world currency!
Well, friends'n'neighbors.... ya gotta lotta thinkin' ta do in the next six-months!

This'n'That; April Twenty-Seventh #1; "History" Made

Michelle 'Antoinette' Visits "Buffettville!"
While in Omaha, Nebraska--that bastion of capitalism--Michelle 'Antoinette' blathered on about her husband's socio-facist programs, plans and alleged accomplishments.  Her bluster was primarily that both she and "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist" made history with the cram-down of both owe-bamaKare and the owe-bamaPill.
The "Clown Princess" took great pride in the owe-bamaKare cram-down they accomplished:
"Two years ago, we made history together by finally passing health reform, and because we passed this law, insurance companies will now have to cover basic preventive care--things like prenatal care, mammograms, contraception-at no extra cost."
After completely ignoring the fact that--as Milton Friedman said--"There ain't no such thing as 'a free lunch';"  continued on blustering about their newly formed segment of the dependency class--those children under 26:
"Kids now stay on their parents' insurance until they're 26 years old, so that when our kids graduate from college, they won't have to go without health care while they're trying to find  a job and build lives of their own.  And that's how 2.5 million young people today are getting their coverage today.  And since we passed this law, millions of our senior citizens have saved an average of moe than $600 a year on their prescription drugs."
Ms 'Get off yer ass, fat boy' owe-bama went on to blather about 'basic American values' as well as her husband's position that 'everyone should do their fair share and play by the same rules.'
The primary point that struck me about this article wasn't the article itself, but the hundred or so, comments left by other readers!
GAWD!!
They ain't happy!!
Here are just a few; check the URL below for the article and all comments:
From 'Apple Bite:'
"That idiot.  It's not about "Making history', it's about doing what's right, by and for the people.  And what they did was totally wrong, by any and every measure possible.  Nobody asked them to be our nanny."
From 'Detroit paperboy:'
"No,, you made history by being the first COMMUNISTS in the White house.... sorry!"
From 'black9897:'
"Ah, yes.  Forcing people at the barrel of a gun to do something.  Guess Hitler made history to. Yay!"
From 'turkey13:'
"Those in power need check and restraints lest they come to identify the common good for their own tastes ans [and] desires, and their continuation in office as essential to the preservation of the nation."  Justice William O. Douglas
From 'gigalynx:'
"Maybe now after her and her husband have done there [their] best to screw us all she can really be proud of America for the second time in her life!"

From 'pavepaws:'
"In the Middle Ages, the "Black Death" made history also."
From 'What_Did_I_Miss:'
"Pee Wee Herman mad [made] history by whacking off in a theater. So What!"
From 'Constructionist:'
"[Charles] Manson made history too"

....and on, and on, and on for six full pages!!
I don't see a rose coming out of this bucket-of-shit she's stepped in!!

This'n'That; April Twenty-Sixth #2; Farm Socialism

owe-bama To Slowly Socialize U.S. Farms
"Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist" and his communist Department of Labor just can't leave BAD ENOUGH alone!!  This latest (as far as I know) advance of federal control over all aspects of American life came to light (for me, at least) during a call to the Bob Lonsberry radio show on WHAM1180, Rochester N.Y., a couple of months ago.
After Bob initially broached the subject, he received several phone calls, one from a fruit farmer in the growing areas hat surround Lake Ontario in Monroe and Wayne Counties.  Said caller explained how this latest DoL invasion into the working life of the American farmer would strangle the family farm concept in the United States.  No longer would his children or neighboring youngsters be allowed to operate ANY motor-driven apparatus, so long as it was on a farm property.  It gets even more ludicrous:  The farmer's--under 16--child is restricted from the simple task of mowing the lawn with a powermower.  A neighboring child--on residential; non-farm, property--of any age, can mow residential lawns to his heart's content, so long as any of the lawns are not on a family farm!!
On June 9, 2011 the socio-fascist "Clown Prince" issued an executive order to boost his ratings among farming, rural residential families, voters.  Said executive order was to enhance the federal government's involvement in rural activities, from financing to communications, to science-and-technology, to drug control policy; every aspect of American life, rural or not!!
Let me point you toward:
Executive Order #13575 (Establishment of the White House Rural Council);
Section 4 (Missions and Function of the Council):
paragraph (a)  "make recommendations to the President, through the Director of the Domestic Policy Council and the Director of the National Economic Council, on streamlining and leveraging Federal investments in rural areas, where appropriate, to increase the impact of Federal dollars and create economic opportunitites to improve the quality of life in rural America;"
paragraph (b)  "coordinate and increase the effectiveness of Federal engagement with rural stakeholders, including agricultural organizations, small businesses, education and training institutions, health-care providers telecommunications services providers, research and land grant institutions, law enforcement, State, local, and tribal governments, and nongovernmental organizations regarding the needs of rural America;"
Got that?!?  Sounds like the "Clown Prince"--FINALLY--wants to do something; ANYTHING that will actually benefit SOMEONE in America, right?!?
Well...... NOT SO FAST!!  I'm thinkin' the aforementioned is nothing more than presidential s&m for upcoming rural economic strangulation.  Now let's have a look at just some of the activities listed in a U.S. Labor Department proposal affecting said rural, farm, family-farming, families:
1.  Would prevent anyone under 16 from working with animals when they are branded, castrated or vaccinated;
2.  Would prevent anyone under 16 working in a pen with an un-castrated male bovine, porcine or equine over 6 months old;
3.  Would prevent anyone under 16 from working on a ladder or scaffolding more than 6 feet off the ground;
4.  Would prevent anyone under 16 from using powered machines, from electric drills to tractors;
5.  Would prevent anyone under 18 from working in stockyards, grain elevators, feedlots, livestock exchanges and auctions.
I gotta tell'ya.... this labor department bullshit seems to run up against the "Clown Prince's" Rural Council bullshit.  What happens when bullshit collides with bullshit?!?  Everyone involved gets splattered!!
Don't these prevented activities fly in the face of E.O. #13575, Section 4, Para (a)  "....create economic opportunities to improve the quality of life in rural America...."
Don't these prevented activities fly in the face of E.O. #13575, Section 4 Para (b)  "....increase the effectiveness of Federal engagement with rural stakeholders...."
Not only that.... where does "Michelle Antoinette" weigh in relative to her "Get'cher ass off the couch, fat boy" program of anti-obesity?!?  Surely this will affect her "Eat as I say, not as I eat" policy!!
One can only guess, but one thing's fer-sher:  Nobody in the federal government has a phuckin' clue what the others are doin'!!!

This'n'That; April Twenty-Fifth #3; Unremarkable Remarks

"Princely" Unremarkable Remarks, UNC
Taxpayer Funded Campaign Stop
(Student Loans)
UNC-Chapel Hill,
Chapel Hill, N.C.
April 24, 2012
Later today, I am getting together with Jimmy Fallon and the Dave Matthews Band right here on campus. We’re going to tape Jimmy’s show for tonight so I want everybody to tune in, make sure it has high ratings.
[....] the reason I came to Chapel Hill today is to talk about what most of you do here every single day -- and that's study, I assume.  Higher education is the single most important investment you can make in your future.  So I'm proud of all of you for doing what it takes to make that investment -- for the long hours in the library -- I hope in the lab, in the classroom. This has never been more important.
Whether you're here at a four-year college or university, or you're at a two-year community college, in today’s economy, there's no greater predictor of individual success than a good education.  Right now, the unemployment rate for Americans with a college degree or more is about half the national average. The incomes of folks with a college degree are twice as high as those who don’t have a high school diploma. A higher education is the clearest path into the middle class.  Now, I know that those of you who are about to graduate are wondering about what’s in store for your future. Not even four years ago, just as the global economy was about to enter into freefall, you were still trying to find your way around campus. And you’ve spent your years here at a time when the whole world has been trying to recover, but has not yet fully recovered from the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, the worst economic crisis in most of our lifetimes -- and that includes your teachers.
Being truthful, I--your exalted ruler--might have said:  College--as an economic indicator--has little value.  College is where you might apply yourself to the project of advancing your knowledge, unfettered by commie-lib professors with their purpose of indoctrinating new minds to the ways of marxism, fascism; all the -isms necessary to spread their communistic manifesto.  In many instances, an impossible task!
Most college students today, are in school at the financial behest of their parents, grandparents or some other benefactor.  It's the rare student that does more than part-time work, that being to finance their incidentals.  Largely, the current college student is completely unphased by the cost of said education.  Do you realize that the tuition costs rise at a rate three-times greater than the rate of inflation?!?
SIDEBAR:  With the Federal Reserve printing money--willie-nillie--the official inflation rate is being kept artifically low.  This blogger has seen the unofficial inflation rate as illustrated by a loaf of bread:  In the last six-months, a store-brand loaf of 'italian' bread has risen from $1.29 to $1.99 per loaf!  That's an increase of ten-cents per month in price, with no commensurate increase in value!!
The current affects of my lack of a clear--beneficial--domestic economic policy have pretty-much destroyed the jobs markets!  You have me--as well as yourselves--to blame for having no employment upon graduation; one cannot be afraid to get his or her hands dirty in the persuit of success.
Our businesses have added more than 4 million jobs over the past two years, but we all know there’s still too many Americans out there looking for work or trying to find a job that pays enough to cover the bills and make the mortgage. We still have too many folks in the middle class that are searching for that security that started slipping away years before the recession hit.  So we’ve still got a lot of work to do to rebuild this economy so that it lasts, so that it’s solid, so that it’s firm. But what I want you to know is that the degree you earn from UNC will be the best tool you have to achieve that basic American promise -- the idea that if you work hard, you can do well enough to raise a family and own a home, send your own kids to college, put a little away for retirement. That American Dream is within your reach.  And there’s another part of this dream, which is the idea that each generation is going to know a little bit more opportunity than the last generation. That our kids -- I can tell you now as a parent -- and I guarantee you, your parents feel this about you -- nothing is more important than your kid’s success. You want them to do better than you did.  You want them to shoot higher, strive more, and succeed beyond your imagination.
So keeping that promise alive is the defining issue of our time. I don’t want this to be a country where a shrinking number of Americans are doing really, really well, but a growing number of people are just struggling to get by. That’s not my idea of America.  I don’t want that future for you. I don’t want that future for my daughters. I want this forever to be a country where everybody gets a fair shot and everybody is doing their fair share, and everybody is playing by the same set of rules.  That’s the America I know and love. That’s the America within our reach.  I think back to my grandfather. He had a chance to go to college because this country decided every returning veteran of World War II should be able to afford it, should be able to go to college.  My mother was able to raise two kids by herself because she was able to get grants and work her way through school.  I am only standing here today, Michelle is only who she is today because of scholarships and student loans. That gave us a shot at a great education. We didn’t come from families of means, but we knew that if we worked hard we’d have a shot.
Being truthful, I--your exalted ruler--might have said: Years ago--when the "baby-boomers" were raising their kids; your parents--very few parents were able to just send their kids off to college.  In many families, the college student only enrolled for classes after he'd worked for six-months or a year, earning the tuition-and-expense money.  When did it become the norm for a student to be 'handed an education,' financially?!?  A far-more-beneficial path would be the one I just mentioned.  The continuing student would have 'a bit of dirt under the fingernails;' a work ethic that would serve him well throughout his or her life!!
My mother was involved in my early-life little more than the four-years I lived with her and her then-husband in Indonesia.  My grandmother, Madelyn Dunham was an essential figure in my upbringing, having lived with her until left for the mainland and college.  We--my grandparents' household--were not poor or even middle-class, by any stretch of the imagination!   My grandfather worked as a government employee at the Honolulu Municipal Water Station.  My grandmother was a vice-president at The Bank of Hawaii from 1970 until her retirement in 1986.  They gave me practically anything I wanted, growing up, and--unbeknownst-to-them--financing my excursions into the consumption of drugs of various kinds.
This country has always made a commitment to put a good education within the reach of all who are willing to work for it. That’s what makes us special. That’s what made us an economic superpower. That’s what kept us at the forefront of business and science and technology and medicine. And that’s a commitment we have to reaffirm today in 2012.  Now, everybody will give lip service to this. You'll hear a lot of folks say, yes, education is important -- it’s important.  But it requires not just words but deeds. And the fact is, that since most of you were born, tuition and fees at America’s colleges have more than doubled. And that forces students like you to take out a lot more loans. There are fewer grants. You rack up more debt.  Now, the average student who borrows to pay for college now graduates with about $25,000 in student loan debt. That’s the average -- some are more.  Yes -- because some folks have more debt than that.
Americans now owe more on their student loans than they do on their credit cards. And living with that kind of debt means that this generation is not getting off to the same start that previous generations -- because you’re already loaded up with debt. So that means you’ve got to make pretty tough choices when you are first starting out. You might have to put off buying a house. It might mean that you can’t go after that great idea for a startup that you have, because you’re still paying off loans. Maybe you’ve got to wait longer to start a family, or save for retirement.  When a big chunk of every paycheck goes towards loan debt, that’s not just tough on you, that’s not just tough for middle-class families, it’s not just tough on your parents -- it’s painful for the economy, because that money is not going to help businesses grow. I mean, think about the sooner you can start buying a house, that’s good for the housing industry. The sooner you can start up that business, that means you’re hiring some folks -- that grows the economy.
And this is something Michelle and I know about firsthand. I just wanted everybody here to understand this is not -- I didn’t just read about this. I didn’t just get some talking points about this. I didn’t just get a policy briefing on this. Michelle and I, we’ve been in your shoes. Like I said, we didn’t come from wealthy families.  So when we graduated from college and law school, we had a mountain of debt. When we married, we got poorer together.  We added up our assets and there were no assets.  And we added up our liabilities and there were a lot of liabilities, basically in the form of student loans. We paid more in student loans than we paid on our mortgage when we finally did buy a condo. For the first eight years of our marriage, we were paying more in student loans than what we were paying for our mortgage. So we know what this is about.  And we were lucky to land good jobs with a steady income. But we only finished paying off our student loans -- check this out, all right, I’m the President of the United States we only finished paying off our student loans about eight years ago.  That wasn’t that long ago. And that wasn’t easy, especially because when we had Malia and Sasha, we’re supposed to be saving up for their college educations, and we’re still paying off our college educations.
Being truthful, I--your exalted ruler--might have said:  I have done nothing relative to the escalating costs of a quality college education.  Had that been at the fore--as I'm making it now--I should have gone after 'Big-Ed' much like I continue to vilify 'big oil!!'  I did not.  That's but one of my many shortcomings, my many failures!! As I continually paint a rosy picture of my involvement with the student-loan legislation, you have to know that as a U.S. senator--of some several days--I failed to vote in July, 2007 as well as September, 2007--nor did I sign on as a co-sponsor--of the current loan legislation!!  How well I prove that one can lie-by-omission!!
All this blather about the tough time "Michelle Antoinette" and I had in repaying our student loans?!?  Complete bullshit!!  Remember, any money I earned was a direct result of government at some level; I've never worked-for-wages in the private sector.  I made dam'-good-money plying my trade as a community agitator, using Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" to my advantage.  "Michelle Antoinette" has also never suffered financially, either as a single person, married person or mother.  She's been over-paid in various legal positions as a result of my influence as a community agitator.  She even had a 'no show job' with the University of Chicago hospitals earning well over a quarter-million-dollars as late as 2006!  Where's "the pain" of repaying student loans with a family income approaching a half-million-dollars annually?!?  This blather is nothing more-or-less than thinly disguised campaign bluster.                                                                                                                        So we have to make college more affordable for our young people. That’s the bottom line. And like I said, look, not everybody is going to go to a four-year college or university. You may go to a community college. You may go to a technical school and get into the workforce. And then, it may turn out that after you’ve had kids and you’re 35, you go back to school because you’re retraining for something new. But no matter what it is, no matter what field you’re in, you’re going to have to engage in lifelong learning. That’s the nature of the economy today. And we’ve got to make sure that’s affordable.  That’s good for the country; it’s good for you. At this make-or-break moment for the middle class, we’ve got to make sure that you’re not saddled with debt before you even get started in life.  Because I believe college isn’t just one of the best investments you can make in your future -- it’s one of the best investments America can make in our future. This is important for all of us.  We can’t price the middle class out of a college education. Not at a time when most new jobs in America will require more than a high school diploma. Whether it’s at a four-year college or a two-year program, we can’t make higher education a luxury. It’s an economic imperative. Every American family should be able to afford it.   So that’s why I’m here. Now, before I ask for your help -- I’ve got something very specific I’m going to need you to do. But, North Carolina, indulge me. I want to briefly tell you what we’ve already done to help make college more affordable, because we’ve done a lot.  Before I took office, we had a student loan system where tens of billions of taxpayer dollars were going to banks, not students. They were processing student loan programs except the student loans were federally guaranteed so they weren’t taking any big risks, but they were still taking billions of dollars out of the system. So we changed it.  Some in Washington fought tooth and nail to protect the status quo, where billions of dollars were going to banks instead of students. And they wanted to protect that. They wanted to keep those dollars flowing to the banks.  One of them said -- and I’m going to quote here because it gives you a sense of the attitudes sometimes we’re dealing with in Washington. They said, it would be "an outrage" -- if we changed the system so that the money wasn’t going through banks and they weren’t making billions of dollars of profits off of it -- said it was "an outrage."  And I said, no, the real outrage is letting these banks keep these subsidies without taking any risks while students are working two or three jobs just to get by. That’s an outrage. That’s an outrage.  So we kept at it, we kept it at -- we won that fight. Today, that money is going where it should be going -- should have been going in the first place -- it’s going directly to students. We’re bypassing the middleman. That means we can raise Pell grants to a higher level. More people are eligible. More young people are able to afford college because of what we did. Over 10 years, that’s going to be $60 billion that’s going to students that wasn’t going to students before.
Being truthful, I--your exalted ruler--might have said:  Then again, you may work for your mother's cousin-the family plumber.  A quality--hands-on--education to be sure! I AM asking for your help!  I care not, the quality; the costs of your education.  All I care about is pacifying George Soros, this time with my re-immaculation!!
I--and by 'I' I mean ME--took over the student loan program not for any real benefit for the consumer but for the singular control of who, why and where anyone--from the upcoming high school graduates to the senior citizen looking to advance his knowledge--attends institutions of higher learning.  The banks did assume some risk in issuing a student loan as well as the processing fees they were entitled to.  To that end, name one--JUST ONE--federal program that's run efficiently and economically?!?
Ha!!
Gott'cha!!
There is none; it was a trick question!!
So how can the justification be made that it was good for the consumer to have the student loan program under the auspices of the federal government?!?
Another trick question!!
It matters not that in ten years there'll be more grants.  With the economy continuing to "go-to-hell-inn'a-handbasket" there will be fewer and fewer students enrolling in college; hell, they'll be lucky to be able to afford to have the basic necessities!
Now, then, last fall, I acted to cap student loan payments faster, so that nearly 1.6 million students who make their payments on time will only have to pay 10 percent of their monthly income towards loans once they graduate.  Now, this is useful -- this is especially helpful for young people who decide to become teachers, or maybe they go into one of the [....]  social work or one of the helping professions.  And they may not get paid a lot of money, but they’ve got a lot of debt. And so being able to cap how much per month you’re paying as a percentage of your income gives you a little bit more security knowing you can choose that profession.  And then we wanted every student to have access to a simple factsheet on student loans and financial aid, so you can have all the information you need to make your own choices about how to pay for college. And we set up this new consumer watchdog called the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and so they’re now putting out this information. We call it “Know Before You Owe.” Know before you owe. It’s something Michelle and I wish we had had when we were in your shoes -- because sometimes we got surprised by some of this debt that we were racking up.  So that’s what we’ve done. But it’s not enough just to increase student aid. We can’t keep subsidizing skyrocketing tuition or we’ll run out of money. And colleges and universities, they’ve got to do their part also to keep college costs down.  So I’ve told Congress to steer federal aid to those schools that keep tuition affordable, that provide good value, that serve their students well. And we’ve put colleges on notice: If you can’t stop tuition from just going up every single year a lot faster than inflation, then funding you get from taxpayers, at least at the federal level, will go down -- because we need to push colleges to do better, and hold them accountable if they don’t.
Being truthful, I--your exalted ruler--might have said: Even the most incompetent boob among us should realize that the longer the term of the loan, the higher the interest paid.  THAT is the reason for the 10% cap on payments!  More revenue to the Treasury that my regime will undoubtedly piss away, faster than it comes in! All those 'helping professions' I mentioned...?!?  They're all controlled by the appropriate union.  How do unions vote?!?  The way they're told!! By whom?!?  What ever owe-bamacRATic politician, in whatever owe-bamacRATic level of government  that needs that controlled vote to win election; re-election!
Are you--the student--really dumb enough to think that we--the socio-fascist politician--will actually force institutions of higher learning to reduce their income?!?  That makes absolutely no sense!  Much like the "Buffett Rule"-completely stupid!!"  Nothing more than polictical posturing!  We--the socio-fascist politician--are wholly dependent on professors, grad-student lecturers--as I was--and other administrators for the indoctrination of the student to the socio-fascist mindset.  We have no other way--yet--to influence the vast numbers that colleges, universities and trade schools have!
Now, public universities know well, and Governor Perdue knows well -- states also have to do their part by making higher education a higher priority in their budgets.  I know that Bev is fighting hard to make tuition affordable for North Carolina families. That’s a priority for her. But last year, over 40 states cut their higher education spending. And these budget cuts have been among the largest factors in tuition increases at public colleges over the past decade. So we’re challenging states to take responsibility. We told them, if you can find new ways to bring down the cost of college and make it easier for students to graduate, then we’ll help you do it.  But I want everybody here, as you’re thinking about voting, make sure you know where your state representative and your state senator stands when it comes to funding higher education.  They’ve got to be responsible. They’ve got to be accountable as well to prioritize higher education.   All right. So helping more families, helping more young people afford a higher education; offering incentives for states and colleges and universities to keep their costs down -- that’s what we’ve been doing. Now Congress has to do their part.  They need to extend the tuition tax credit that we put in place back when I came into office. It’s saving middle-class families thousands of dollars.  Congress needs to safeguard aid for low-income students, like Pell grants, so that today’s freshmen and sophomores know that they’ll be able to count on it.  That’s what Congress has to do. Congress needs to give more young people the chance to earn their way through college by doubling the number of work/study jobs over the next five years.  That's what Congress needs to do.  And then there's one specific thing -- and now this is where you come in -- there's one specific thing that Congress needs to do right now to prevent the interest rates on student loans, federal student loans, from shooting up and shaking you down. So this is where you come in. I want to explain this, so everybody listen carefully.  Five years ago, Congress cut the rate on federal student loans in half. That was a good thing to do. But on July 1st -- that’s a little over two months from now -- that rate cut expires. And if Congress does nothing, the interest rates on those loans will double overnight.  So I’m assuming a lot of people here have federal student loans. The interest rates will double unless Congress acts by July 1st. And just to give you some sense of perspective -- for each year that Congress doesn’t act, the average student with these loans will rack up an additional $1,000 in debt -- an extra thousand dollars. That’s basically a tax hike for more than 7 million students across America -- more than 160,000 students here in North Carolina alone. Anybody here can afford to pay an extra $1,000 right now?  I didn’t think so. So stopping this from happening should be a no-brainer. Helping more of our young people afford college, that should be at the forefront of America’s agenda. It shouldn’t be a Republican or a Democratic issue.  This is an American issue.  The Stafford loans we’re talking about, they’re named after a Republican senator. The Pell grants that have helped millions of Americans earn a college education, that’s named after a Democratic senator. When Congress cut those rates five years ago, 77 Republicans in the House of Representatives voted for it -- along with a couple hundred Democrats  including the Democrats who are here.   So this shouldn’t be a partisan issue. And yet, the Republicans who run Congress right now have not yet said whether or not they’ll stop your rates from doubling. We’re two months away. Some have hinted that they’d only do it if we cut things like aid for low-income students instead. So the idea would be, well, all right, we’ll keep interest rates low if we take away aid from other students who need it. That doesn’t make sense.  One Republican congresswoman said just recently -- I’m going to quote this because I know you guys will think I’m making it up --  She said she had
"very little tolerance for people who tell me they graduate with debt because there’s no reason for that."
I’m just quoting here. I’m just quoting. She said, students who rack up student loan debt are just sitting on their butts, having opportunity "dumped in your lap."  I mean, I’m reading it here, so I didn’t make this up. Now, can you imagine saying something like that? Those of you who have had to take out student loans, you didn’t do it because you’re lazy. You didn’t do it lightly. You don’t like debt. I mean, a lot of you, your parents are helping out, but it’s tough on them. They’re straining. And so you do it because the cost of college keeps going up and you know this is an investment in your future.  So if these folks in Washington were serious about making college more affordable, they wouldn’t have voted for a budget that could cut financial aid for tens of millions of college students by an average of more than $1,000.
They certainly wouldn’t let your student loan rates double overnight. So when you ask them, well, why aren’t you making this commitment? They say, well, we got to bring down the deficit. Of course, this is the deficit they helped run up over the past decade.  Didn’t pay for two wars. Didn’t pay for two massive tax cuts. And now this is the reason why you want students to pay more?  They just voted to keep giving billions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies to big oil companies that are raking in record profits. They just voted to let millionaires and billionaires keep paying lower tax rates than middle-class workers and their secretaries.  They even voted to give an average tax cut of at least $150,000 to folks like me, the wealthiest Americans -- a tax cut paid for by cutting things like education and job training programs that give students new opportunities to work and succeed.
Being truthful, I--your exalted ruler--might have said: Contrary to the popular beliefs, money does not cure all ills!  The answer is not money, if it were, why do those institutions that are not the Texas Aggies, the Notre Dame Irish, et al, with athletic programs that support far more acitivities than do the budgeted funds from government continue to exist.  I promote more government spending for one reason: control; CONTROL; C-O-N-T-R-O-L!!  So long as the institutions take government money--at any level--said schools are obligated to bend to the will of said governmental entity!!  If government money were "the be-all, to end-all" then why is there at least one specific contrary institution, that being Hillsdale College?!?  Hillsdale College is one of the very few in the entire United States that take absolutely no government funds of any sort; from any level!  Nor do they allow students--or perspective students--to take federal grants or loans.  Where the hell is MY CONTROL in that?!?
Now, that’s their priorities. And that doesn’t make any sense. Do we want to keep tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans who don’t need them and didn’t ask for them? Or do we want to make sure that they’re paying their fair share?  Do we want to keep subsidizing big oil, or do we want to make sure we’re investing in clean energy?  Do we want to jack up interest rates on millions of students, or do we want to keep investing in things that will help us and help them in the long-term -- things like education and science, and a strong military and care for our veterans?  We can’t do both. We can’t have it both ways. We’ve got to make a choice about what our priorities are.  You know, I’ve said this before, but I’m just going to keep on repeating it: In America, we admire success. We aspire to it. I want everybody to be rich. I want everybody to work and hustle and start businesses and study your tails off to get there.  But America is not just about a few people doing well. America is about giving everybody a chance to do well.  Everybody -- not just a few -- everybody.  That’s what built this country. That’s what the American Dream is all about.  A lot of us had parents or grandparents who said, maybe I can’t go to college, but some day my son, he’ll go to college and I’ll be so proud of him. A lot of us had parents or grandparents who said, maybe I can’t start my own business, but maybe some day my daughter, she’s going to start her own business, she’s going to work for herself.  A lot of us had parents or grandparents who said, I may be an immigrant, but I believe that this is a country where no matter what you look like and where you come from, no matter what your name is, you can make it if you try.
North Carolina, that’s who we are. That’s our values. That’s what we’re about. So, no, "set your sights lowe" -- that’s not an education plan. "You’re on your own" -- that’s not an economic plan. We can’t just cut our way to prosperity.  Previous generations made the investments necessary for us to succeed, to build a strong middle class, to create the foundation for America’s leadership in science and technology and medicine and manufacturing. And now it’s our turn. We’ve got to do the right thing. I want one of you to discover the cure for cancer, or the formula for fusion, or the next game-changing American industry.  And that means we’ve got to support those efforts.  So if you agree with me, I need your help. I need you to tell your member of Congress, we’re not going to set our sights lower. We’re not going to settle for something less. Now, all of you are lucky, you already have three congressmen who are on board. So don’t -- you don’t need to call them.  They’re already doing the right thing. But I’m asking everyone else who’s watching or following online -- call your member of Congress. Email them. Write on their Facebook page. Tweet them -- we’ve got a hashtag.  Here’s the hashtag for you to tweet them: #dontdoublemyrate.  Your voice matters. So stand up. Be heard. Be counted. Tell them now is not the time to double interest rates on your student loans. Now is the time to double down on smart investments to build a strong and secure middle class. Now is the time to double down on building an America that lasts.  You and me, all of us here, every single one of us -- we’re here only because somebody, somewhere, felt responsibility not just for themselves, but they felt responsibility for something larger. It started with them feeling responsible for their families. So your parents sacrificed, your grandparents sacrificed to make sure you could succeed. But then they thought bigger than that. They thought about their neighborhood, they thought about their community, they thought about their country. Now -- [....]  And now it’s our turn to be responsible. It’s our turn to keep that promise alive.  And no matter how tough these times have been, no matter how many obstacles that may stand in our way, I promise you, North Carolina, there are better days ahead.  We will emerge stronger than we were before. Because I believe in you. I believe in your future. I believe in the investment you’re making right here at North Carolina.  That tells me that you share my faith in America’s future. And that’s what drives me every single day -- your hopes, your dreams. And I’m not quitting now because, in America, we don’t quit.  We get each other’s backs. We help each other get ahead.  And if we work together, we’ll remind the world just why it is that America’s the greatest nation on Earth.
Being truthful, I--your exalted ruler--might have said:  We--and by 'we' I mean the owe-bama Regime--must invest in what works!!  Be it fossil fuels, be it in revising the tax code to eliminate tax deductions for those evil oil companies.  The best single change--which would benefit those at every level of the citizenry--is to reduce federal spending to the level that minimal borrowing would be necessary.
That ain't gonna happen under my--read: Soros'--watch!!
I rely on those with not'ta whole lot'ta common sense to ensure that my re-immaculation campaign will continue on schedule.  I need this second term as your exalted ruler to complete the conversion of the United States of America into a completely socio-fascist state!!  I would've had it done, excepting that dam' "Tea Party" Movement.  With the loss of control over the House of Representatives, I no longer had that dupe-marionette, Nancy PORKlosi to do my bidding; much as 'pinky' reid does each day!!
I have one benefit probably NONE OF YOU will ever achieve:  No matter how long I rule, I will continue with this--nearly half-million-dollar paycheck--FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!  That's another financial burden you'll have to bear, so....
ya better find a job....
and it better be a good one!!

This'n'That; April Eighteenth #1; Unremarkable Remarks!

"Michelle Antoinette's" Campaign Blather
(BlogNote:  We're only gonna do this once [hopefully!], so enjoy it!)
Taxpayer-paid Campaign Event
The Pinnacle at Symphony Place,
Nashville, Tennessee
[....] I want to thank all of you for taking the time to be here with us today.  And I know that there’s a reason why you all took the time out to be here today. You’re here because you know that next November, we are going to make a choice that will impact our lives for decades to come -- I cannot say that enough.  And I know that you’re here because you know that choice won’t just affect all of us; as Nicole said, it's going to affect our children and our grandchildren, and it's going to impact the world we leave behind for them long after we’re gone.  And that’s why I’m here today as well. That's why I am going to be out there on the campaign trail like nobody has ever seen.   As First Lady, I have had the privilege of traveling all across this great country, and I get to meet folks from all different backgrounds and I get to hear what’s going on in their daily lives. And let me tell you, every day, I hear about people's challenges and struggles, what they're doing to try to keep it together -- the bills they’re trying to pay, the businesses they’re trying to keep afloat, the home they love but are struggling to afford.  But no matter what they’re going through, no matter what the challenges they face, they keep working and sacrificing because they desperately want something better for their kids. That's what people in America do: They believe in that fundamental vision for our economy that we all share -- the idea, as your President says, that hard work should pay off, that responsibility should be rewarded, and more importantly, that everyone should get a fair shot, and do their fair share, and play by the same rules.
"Michelle-Antoinette" as a truthful spokesperson:  As THE domineering member of the first family, I'm the one whose primary responsibility is to choose the destination of our monthly vacations. I also co-ordinate the various fundraisers at these locales, making campaign stops and fundraisers along-the-way: AT TAXPAYER EXPENSE!!  Dam' cleaver, huh?!?

One of the most disturbing things I hear from these wealthy folks I speak with:  Their service help as well as their employees are feeling the pinch of this disasterous economy; of my husband's stupid choices!!  Rather than paying their employees a fair rate-of-pay, they have their own definition of 'fair' which actually parallels Barry's: 'fairness' as a race warfare-card; 'fairness' as a economic warfare-card!!
Barry is having a difficult time equalizing 'fairness' with the relationship of "the WelfareRAT" as he or she applies to those American TAXPAYERS who actually drag-their-asses out of bed every morning to contribute to the economy rather than being a drag on it!!  See, Barry--and rightfully so--supports the socio-fascist way of sucking all control, all desire, all initiative, all liberty, all sense of responsibility out of the American individual and having the government provide everything from diapers to death-panels!!
[....] Let's start with all those tax cuts my husband passed for middle-class families.  See, those cuts are about whether people can heat their homes, right; it's about whether people can send their kids to college, maybe retire with some dignity, a little security. That's what that's about. It's about putting more money in the people’s pockets, which means more money in our entire economy, which means more jobs. That's what that's about.  And those kind of cuts for working-class people are about making sure that everyone pays their fair share. That's why my husband proposed the Buffett Rule, to close the tax loopholes so that millionaires and billionaires aren't paying lower tax rates than firefighters and teachers.  But that’s what’s at stake in this election. That’s what we’re fighting for.
"Michelle-Antoinette" as a truthful spokesperson:  Aw, come-ON, folks!?!  There's absolutely no way I can make this bullshit even-a-little-bit believable!!  owe-bama tax cut...?!?  Come-ON, people!!  Barry wouldn't know 'a tax cut' if it bit'em in the ass!! Barry hadn't done crap about any tax cuts; he wouldn't if given the choice, that dam' George Soros puts him up to this crap!!  Like he knows how to rule a country!?!  I can tell you right now, Barry Soetoro.... er.... the "Clown Prince...." would no sooner initiate a tax cut than "The-Man-In-The-Moon!!?!!"
Barry did absolutely nothing more than continue those tax-cuts signed into law by that evil President George W. Bush!!!  And now he's expecting me to go out and 'lie-through-my-teeth' about them!!  Luckily, Barry was able continue President Bush's break for HIS subjects when he actually wants the government--HIS government--to control everything.... and I mean EVERYTHING!!                                                  And how about everything my husband has done to create jobs in this economy? Think back to when all those folks in Washington were telling Barack to let the auto industry go under, with more than a million jobs on the line. Remember that? But you’ll also remember that Barack had the backs of American workers. He put his faith in the American people, and today, as a result of that persistence, the auto industry is back on its feet. And as a result, people are back at work, providing for their families.  That’s something we can never forget.
And think back to when Barack first took office, what he came into. We were losing in this economy an average of 750,000 jobs a month. That’s what he walked into; that’s what he inherited. But for the past 25 straight months, we’ve actually been gaining private sector jobs -– a total of more than 4 million jobs in two years. That’s the math.  Those are the facts.  So yes, while we have a long way to go, we have more work to do to rebuild our economy -- yes, we are not finished, but today, millions of folks are collecting a paycheck again. That’s what’s happening. That is what’s at stake. That’s the choice we face.  And what about all that has been done for small businesses -– the companies that create two-thirds of all new jobs each year -- small businesses? I’m talking about the mother who opens up a drycleaner to provide for her kids. That’s who we’re talking about. Or the family that’s been running that neighborhood diner for generations. See, for these folks, the small business tax cuts this administration has passed, that means the difference between hiring new employees or handing out pink slips; the difference between keeping their doors open or perhaps closing shop for good. So that’s the choice we face.  And how about the very first bill my husband signed into law? The very first thing he did as President -- the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act to help women get equal pay for equal work. That’s the first thing your President did.  He did this because he knows what it means when women aren’t treated fairly in the workplace. He watched his own grandmother -– a woman with a high school education –- work her way up to become a vice president at a little-bitty community bank. She worked hard. She was good at her job. But she watched as she hit that glass ceiling, and watched men no more qualified than she was climb that corporate ladder -- men she had actually trained move ahead of her.  So believe me, for Barack, this issue is not an abstraction. This isn’t a hypothetical for him. He signed this bill because he knows that closing that pay gap, that can mean the difference between women losing $50, $100, $500 from every paycheck, or having that money in their pockets to buy gas and groceries and school clothes for their kids. He did it because when so many women are now breadwinners or co-breadwinners for their families, women’s success in this economy is the key to families’ success in this economy. Your President knows that.  And he did it because, as he put it, he believes that here in America there should be no second-class citizens in our workplaces. That’s what’s at stake.
"Michelle-Antoinette" as a truthful spokesperson: First, let's take this 'owe-bama Motors' thing:  What bullshit I'm expected to read from HIS teleprompter!!  That whole deal went down just as planned!  Screw the taxpayer out of hundreds-of-billions-of-dollars; give most of the bailout money to friends, supporters and donors; give one of Barry's largest contingents of supporters--the auto and the service unions--ONE-FIFTH of the stock in the new 'Government Motors;' save both 'Government Motors' as well as Chrysler for Barry's friends so they would profit handsomely when one or both were sold to foreign entities!!

Speaking to 'jobs and unemployment' is nearly as dismal as speaking to Barry's screw-up in all the PORKulus bailouts!!  There's not even a modicum of truth in any statement on jobs, employment, unemployment, labor-participation numbers, et al, when they come from Barry's mouth!!  He uses the "Slick-Willie" Clinton method of communication-with-the-taxpayer:  "Just keep lyin'.... eventually they'll believe it!!"  I keep getting questions I hesitate to answer, the most frequent one:
"How is it possible to have LESS PEOPLE WORKING, increased unemployment claims and yet the unemployment rate falls?!?
I find this, one of the hardest to answer.... and make the answer believable!
All the statistics the teleprompter programmers had me to quote:  There's absolutely no factual verification for any of it!!
Two years ago, we made history together by finally passing health reform -- something that no one had been able to do before. And because we passed this law, insurance companies now have to cover basic preventative care -- things like mammograms, prenatal care -- at no extra cost. And insurance companies can now no longer deny our children coverage because they have preexisting conditions -- things like asthma, diabetes, right? Kids can now stay on their parents' insurance until they’re 26 years old. That’s what we accomplished.  So that when they graduate from college, our young people are just starting out, they don’t have to worry about whether they’ll get health care while they’re trying to look for a job or build a career, build a family. And that’s how 2.5 million of our young people in this country are getting their coverage.  And since we passed this law, millions of our senior citizens have saved an average of more than $600 a year on their prescription drugs.  So the question has to be: Are we going to take all those savings away from our parents and our grandparents? Are we going to allow insurance companies to refuse to cover our children? Or will we say that here in America, no one should ever have to choose between going bankrupt or watching their child suffer because they can’t afford a doctor? But that is the choice we face.
"Michelle-Antoinette" as a truthful spokesperson:  What a 'kerfuffle' that owe-bamaKare fiasco turned out to be!!  Not a truthful sentence in the entire 2,700+-page law!! Barry, George Soros and their minions worked on it incessantly; double-counting dollar amounts--among many other things--just to make it APPEAR financially feasible.
The Senate--so proud of their accomplishment--finally passed the owe-bamaKare bill on Christmas Eve, 2009, when their opposition was at home with family!!  A show of hands:  when was the last time the United States Senate voted on ANYTHING on CHRISTMAS EVE?!?
Anyone?!?
That auspicious occasion was in 1895, when the Senate met to consider including former Confederate officers in the United States Army!!
owe-bamaKare--in it's continuing "S & M" activities--includes such things as allowing children up to the age of 26 to continue on their parents' health insurance.  The "S & M" aspect here is:  while Barry brags about this, it's a benefit that goes largely unneeded.  Young men and women in this demographic rarely get ill or injured; hence will have no negative affect on the bill's ongoing statistics.
And think, for a moment, about all that we’re doing to give our kids a good education. Think about the investments this President has made to raise standards and reform our public schools.  Think about how my husband has been fighting for the DREAM Act, so that talented, hardworking young people  young people who were brought to this country through no fault of their own, so they can have a chance to earn their citizenship. This is about responsible young men and women who want to go to college. They want to defend our country. They want to contribute to our economy. And it is time that we gave them a chance. It’s time.  And think about how my husband took billions of dollars in taxpayer money that used to go to middleman banks and lenders and sent it where it belongs -- to help millions of young people go to college. That’s what he did.  But we have to remember that these kind of investments won’t just determine our children’s success, they will determine nothing less than the success of our entire economy. They will determine whether we’re prepared to make the discoveries and to build the industries that will allow us to compete with any country, anywhere in the world. But that’s what’s at stake.
"Michelle-Antoinette" as a truthful spokesperson:  If I were to be truthful--and that's a huge IF--the DREAM Act has little to nothing to do with education or citizenship.  It's nothing more than a thinly disguised plan to ingratiate incoming illegal aliens with the owe-bamacRATic party; to enlarge the owe-bamacRATic voter base with said illegal aliens.
The reduction in financing choices will benefit the student?!?
Really?!?
In what world?!?
These funds that are supposed to 'help millions of young people go to college' never make it to their intended destination.  The funds serve as a financial source to by syphoned off for what ever is Barry's "pet-project-of-the-moment!"  The reduction in choices is a reduction in competition.  Competition is a mainstay of the free-market system; necessary to keep prices inline with value received.  Under the owe-bama takeover of the student-loan industry has had quite the opposite affect:  increased prices with the commensurate reduction in value received!!   Continuing to take over various aspects of the economy will serve to destroy said free-market economy just as Barry demands.
And let’s not forget how my husband appointed those two brilliant Supreme Court justices.  Let’s not forget how, for the first time in history, our daughters and our sons watched three women take their seat on our nation’s highest courts.  And we cannot forget the impact the Court’s decisions will have on our lives for decades to come -- on our privacy and security, on whether we can speak freely, worship openly, and love whomever we choose. But that’s what’s at stake. Those are the choices that we are facing in this election.  And finally, let us not forget all this administration has done to keep our country safe and restore our standing in the world.  Thanks to our brave men and women in uniform, we finally brought to justice the man behind the 9/11 attacks and so many other horrific acts of terror.  My husband kept his promise -- he ended the war in Iraq. He brought our troops home for the holidays.  And we are working hard to give them and their families the benefits they’ve earned.  And finally, because my husband ended “don’t ask, don’t tell,” our troops will never again have to lie about who they are to serve the country they love.  I could go on and on and on. But that’s what’s at stake.  So make no mistake about it, whether it’s health care, our economy, whether it’s education or foreign policy, the choice we make will determine nothing less than who we are as a country, but more importantly, it will determine who we want to be. Who do we want to be for our kids? Will we be a country where opportunity is limited to just a few at the top? Is that who we are? Or will we be a place where if you work hard, you can get ahead, no matter who you are, no matter how you started out? Who are we? Who do we want to be? Will we tell folks who’ve done everything right, but are still struggling a little bit, are we going to tell them, “tough luck, you’re on your own”? Who are we? Or will we honor that fundamental American belief that we are all in this together, and we are strongest when we’re all better off?  Will we continue all the change we’ve begun? All the progress we’ve made? Are we going to allow everything we’ve fought for to just slip away?
"Michelle-Antoinette" as a truthful spokesperson:  Each of Barry's Supreme Court appointees are as socio-fascist as the-day-is-long; with Barry's aim of destroying America as the citizen knows it!!  As for Justice Kagan:  That dumb-ass is setting the regime up to have the Court's owe-bamaKare decision overturned if it doesn't come in on the side of logic; on the side of unconstitutionality!!  If Barry is re-immaculated; "Katy, bar-the-door!"  Confronted with the retirement of some of the foggies on the Court, socio-fascists will reign supreme for decades to come.  You--the conservative; the majority; the American taxpayer--can kiss any remaining liberties good-bye!!
But those are the choices we face. Those are the stakes. And believe me, Barack knows this. He understands these issues because he’s lived them. He was raised by a single mother who struggled to put herself through school, pay the bills. And when she needed help, who stepped up -- his grandmother, waking up every morning before dawn to take that bus to that job at the bank. And even though she was passed over again and again for all those promotions, she never complained. How many people do we know like that in our lives? Never complained; she just kept showing up, just kept doing her best.  So believe me, your President knows what it means when a family struggles. This is not a hypothetical. He knows what it means when someone doesn’t have a chance to fulfill their potential, how painful that is. Because those are the experiences that have made him the man, and more importantly, the President he is today. And we are blessed to have him.  We are so blessed.
"Michelle-Antoinette" as a truthful spokesperson:  That paragraph was good listening (in our case, good reading), right?!?  Complete bullshit!!  Barry has never wanted for anything in his life!!  He's been given everything he ever wanted or needed, either by his grandparents or the avowed communist, Frank Marshall Davis!!  Most of his socio-fascist ideology came from either said Mr Davis or Saul Alinsky, the Chicago Street Agitator.
And what I share with everyone is that that is what I hear in my husband’s voice when he comes home after a long day traveling the country, and he tells me about the people that he meets. And that’s what I see in those quiet moments late at night, after the girls have gone to bed, and he’s up late at night going over the letters people have sent him. The letter from the woman dying of cancer whose insurance company won’t cover her care. The letter from the father struggling to pay his family’s bills. The letters from far too many young people with so much promise, but so few opportunities.  And I hear the passion and the determination in his voice. And he says, "Michelle, you won’t believe what people in this country are still going through." That’s what he tells me. He says, "Michelle, this is not right. This is not who we are. We’ve got to fix this. We have so much more work to do."
"Michelle-Antoinette" as a truthful spokesperson:  There's no truthful way to rebutt the previous paragraph!!
See, when it comes to the people Barack meets, he has a memory like a steel trap. He might not remember your name, but if he’s had a few minutes and a decent conversation with you, he will never forget your story. It becomes imprinted in his heart. And that is what he carries with him every single day –- our collection of struggles, our hopes and our dreams. That is where Barack Obama gets his passion. That is where he gets his toughness and his fight. And that’s why even in the hardest moments -- and there have been hard moments over the last few years -- when it seems like all is lost, your President never loses sight of the end goal -- never. He never lets himself get distracted by that chatter and that noise, right? You all can see him -- he’s calm. See, because he just keeps moving forward, just like his grandmother -- just keeps moving forward.  That is the kind of President this country deserves.  But I have said this before, and I will say it again: He cannot do this alone. That was never the promise. He needs your help, all of you here. He needs you to get out there and make those calls. He needs you to register those voters. He needs you to take those “I’m In” cards, right, and sign them.  Get your friends and your neighbors and your colleagues -- sign them up. Convince them to join in giving just a little part of themselves each week to this campaign because we all know that this not just about one extraordinary man, even though I think my husband is awesome.  I’m a little biased.  But this has always been about us, all of us. Regardless of party or race or background, it’s about all of us coming together for the values we all believe in and the country we want to be.  Now, I’m not going to kid you. This next phase of our journey, it is going to be long, and it is going to be hard, and there will be plenty of twists and turns along the way. But the truth is -- and you have to remember, because I have to remind myself every day -- that is how change always happens in this country. It always does.  The reality is that real change does take time, and it never happens all at once -- never does. But if we keep showing up, which we always do, if we keep fighting the good fight, fighting for the values we believe in, then we always get there. We always do. We have never gone backwards, not in this country.  Maybe not in our lifetimes. It may not happen right now, but maybe in our children’s lifetimes. Maybe in our grandchildren’s lifetimes.
"Michelle-Antoinette" as a truthful spokesperson: The values 'Family owe-bama' believes in are not the values of the conservative American MAJORITY!!
