The "Condemning Conservatives" Tour; Stop #2
Campaigning on "The Taxpayers' Dime"
"Clown Prince" blather from Petersburg, Va
Now, back then, in 2008, we were talking about how working Americans were already having a tough go of it. Folks were working harder and longer for less. It was getting tougher to afford health care or to send your kids to college. The economy was already shedding jobs, and in less than a decade, nearly one in three manufacturing jobs had vanished. Then the bottom fell out of the economy, and things got that much tougher. We were losing 700,000 to 800,000 jobs a month. The economy was hemorrhaging. And three and a half years later, we’re still recovering from the worst economic crisis in our lifetimes. And we’ve got a lot of work to do before everybody who wants a good job can find one, before middle-class folks regain that sense of security that had been slipping away even before the recession hit, and before towns like Petersburg get fully back on their feet. But here’s the good news: Over the past two years, our businesses have added nearly 4 million new jobs. We just found out that last month in February we added 233,000 private sector jobs. More companies are bringing jobs back and investing in America. And manufacturing is adding jobs for the first time since the 1990s. We just had another good month last month in terms of adding manufacturing jobs. And this facility is part of the evidence of what’s going on all across the country. This company is about to hire more than 200 new workers -- 140 of them right here in Petersburg, Virginia. So the economy is getting stronger. And when I come to places like this, and I see the work that’s being done, it gives me confidence there are better days ahead. I know it because I would bet on American workers and American know-how any day of the week.
When I was immaculated in January 2009, the U-3 (socially acceptable) unemployment rate 7.8% which I--over the course of 10 short months--I and my regime managed to pushe the rate up to 10.1%!! Over the same period of time the U-6 (TRUE) unemployment rate ran from 14.2% at the immaculation to--in October--17.2%. By comparison, that evil George Bush's U-6 rate ranged from 7.3% to 13.5%.... Hell-a-va difference, huh?!?
Now here's where the cleaver--fuzzy--math comes in: each month the regime checks the 'labor participation rate' prior to tweaking the unemployment numbers. The 'labor participation rate' is a cleaver 'fascist' way of tweaking all the relative numbers to finally come up with a U-3 (socially acceptable) unemployment rate. When folks just stop looking for work--whether they're drawing unemployment benefits or not--we eliminate them from the 'labor participation rate' thus we can artificially lower the U-3 rate, most recently to 8.3%. Realistically, the rate to be considered--to get the complete picture of the lack-of-jobs--is the U-6 rate. Now, isn't that cleaver?!?!?
By comparison, that evil "Ronaldus-Magnus," President Ronald Reagan had the record for longest span of high unemployment until I beat him!! Finally.... I beat someone at something!! I now hold the record for:
Unemployment rate over 8%--32 months, and
Unemployment rate over 9%--27 months, and
Average number of weeks unemployed--40.5!!
We--and by we I mean others in the regime--can blather on all we want about the number of new jobs added. It's just more servings of the same bullshit I've been feeding you through a most compliant corps of national pamphleteers since the immaculation. We--and by we, I mean others in the regime--usually just pull numbers out of 'the clear, blue sky' and feed them to you.
The key now -- our job now is to keep this economic engine churning. We can’t go back to the same policies that got us into this mess. We can’t go back to an economy that was weakened by outsourcing and bad debt and phony financial profits. We’ve got to have an economy that’s built to last. And that starts with American manufacturing. It starts with you. For generations of Americans, manufacturing has been the ticket into the middle class. Every day, millions clocked in at foundries and on assembly lines, making things. And the stuff we made -- steel and cars and jet engines -- that was the stuff that made America what it is. It was understood around the world. The work was hard, but the jobs were good. They paid enough to own a home, and raise kids and send them to college, gave you enough to retire on with dignity and respect. They were jobs that told us something more important than how much we were worth; they told us what we were worth. They told us that we were building more than just products. They told us we were building communities and neighborhoods, we were building a country. It gave people pride about what America was about. And that’s why one of the first decisions I made as President was to stand by manufacturing, to stand by the American auto industry when it was on the brink of collapse. The heartbeat of American manufacturing was at stake -- and so were more than a million jobs. And today, the American auto industry is coming back, and GM is number one in the world again, and Ford is investing billions in American plants and factories. And together, over the past two and a half years, the entire auto industry has added more than 200,000 jobs.
And here’s the thing. They’re not just building cars again, they’re building better cars. For the first time in three decades, we raised fuel standards in this country, so that by the middle of the next decade the cars that are built in America will average nearly 55 miles to the gallon. That will save the typical family about $8,000 at the pump over time. That’s real savings. That's real money.
Here I go again.... actually, 'still!' I continually beat you over the head with the 'Government Motors' bailout as if it were a good thing. Well, maybe the basic concept of the industry bailout was good, but the owe-bama regime so bastardized that 'GM' thingie, it was unrecognizable by the time we finally paid off the unions (with 37% of the company), campaign supporters and election donors, the discerning public was able to figure out that it was a complete sham!!
"....they're building better cars...." Quality was not optional at the time of the GM and Chrysler bailouts, or even with Ford--which refused bailout funds, even though the regime tried to force them as we did with the banks. Ford's "quality numbers" were good, but both GM and Chrysler's had to come up or even more socio-fascist bailouts couldn't save them!!
"....the entire auto industry added more than 200,000 jobs...." They sure did, one of the very few truisms you'll ever hear from me. What I'm not saying, though is that the vast majority of jobs were created by those 'foreign' monikers that manufacture in the United States, with American labor!!
Raising the CAFE standards has nothing to do with saving the American consumer money at the retail pumps; it has everything to do with control of every aspect of American life! You'll note that I rarely say much about the pump price of gasoline and diesel fuel. Gasoline prices at the 'immaculation rate' would save the consumer considerably more money with unchanged CAFE standards. I have no desire to see it drop; rather, I'd like to see it keep increasing, albeit at a much slower pace!! An 'owe-bamaFact:' The national average gas price has gone up 105% since my immaculation, diesel has gone up 95% since said immaculation. And it shows that depending on foreign oil doesn’t have to be our future. It shows that when we harness our own ingenuity, our technology, then we control our future. See, America thrives when we build things better than the rest of the world. I want us to make stuff here and sell it over there. I don't want stuff made over there and selling it over here. And that’s exactly what you’re doing here at the largest Rolls-Royce facility in the world. That’s what you’re doing by building the key components of newer, faster, more fuel-efficient jet engines. But a few weeks ago.... I went to Boeing, in Washington State, and I checked out a new Dreamliner. I even got to sit in the cockpit, which was pretty sweet. I didn’t press any buttons there, though because if it had started going it would have been a problem. So this plane, the Dreamliner, is going to keep America at the cutting edge of aerospace technology. American workers are manufacturing various components for it in Ohio, and Oklahoma, and South Carolina, and Kansas, and right here in Petersburg. In fact, the demand for their planes was so high last year that Boeing had to hire 13,000 workers all across America just to keep up. And Boeing is gaining more and more share all the time. So think about that. Rolls-Royce is choosing to invest in America. You’re creating jobs here, manufacturing components for jet engines, for planes that we’re going to send all around the world. And that’s the kind of business cycle we want to see. Not buying stuff that’s made someplace else and racking up debt, but by inventing things and building things and selling them all around the world stamped with three proud words: “Made in America.” Think about how important this is. I mean, imagine if the plane of the future was being built someplace else. Imagine if we had given up on the auto industry. Imagine if we had settled for a lesser future. But we didn’t. We’re Americans. We are inventors. We are builders. We’re Thomas Edison and we’re the Wright Brothers and we are Steven Jobs. That’s who we are. That’s what we do. We invent stuff, we build it. And pretty soon, the entire world adapts it. That’s who we are. And as long as I’m President, we’re going to keep on doing it. We’re going to make sure the next generation of life-changing products are invented and manufactured here in the United States of America. I--as well as others in the regime--continue to piss-n-moan about 'sending' jobs overseas, when the real truth is that the U.S. Tax Code, the EPA regulations, the OSHA regulations as well as the rest of the red-tape bullshit are 'DRIVING' businesses out of the country!! If you lived in Manhattan and could do your job in--say--Springfield, Missouri, wouldn't you move?!? Missouri's tax rates are far less than New York State's; the cost-of-living is far lower in Springfield than Manhattan; Springfield is on a major trucking freight lane, while Manhattan is not!! Truckers HATE to go into the five-boroughs that make up New York City.
See how I bally-hoo about visiting the Boeing Complex in Everett, Washington. I'm the same guy whose NLRB gave Boeing so much 'heartburn' about building a manufacturing facility in Charleston, South Carolina, lying about moving jobs from Everett to Charleston!! This was little more than favoring one of my largest blocks of support, the union membership over private industry!!So that’s why we launched an all-hands-on-deck effort. We brought together the brightest academic minds, the boldest business leaders, the most dedicated public servants from our science and our technology agencies all with one big goal: a renaissance in American manufacturing. We called it the Advanced Manufacturing Partnership. The Advanced Manufacturing Partnership. And today, we’re building on it. I’m laying out my plans for a new National Network of Manufacturing Innovation –- and these are going to be institutes of manufacturing excellence where some of our most advanced engineering schools and our most innovative manufacturers collaborate on new ideas, new technology, new methods, new processes. And if this sounds familiar, that’s because what you’re about to do right here at Crosspointe. Later this summer, the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing will open its doors. And it’s a partnership between manufacturers, including this one, UVA, Virginia Tech, Virginia State University. VSU is a little overrepresented here, obviously the Commonwealth and the federal government. So think of this as a place where companies can share access to cutting-edge capabilities. At the same time, students and workers are picking up new skills, they’re training on state-of-the-art equipment; they’re solving some of the most important challenges facing our manufacturers.
You just got all this brain power and skill and experience coming together in this hub, and that makes the whole greater than the sum of its parts. It allows everybody to learn from each other and figure out how we’re going to do things even better. It’s going to help get that next great idea from a paper or a computer to the lab, to the factory, to the global marketplace. And that’s especially important for the one in three Americans in manufacturing who work for a small business that doesn’t always have access to resources like these. Obviously, big companies -- the Boeings, the Intels, the Rolls Royces -- they’ve got the resources, the capital, to be able to create these platforms. But some of the small to medium-sized businesses, it’s a little bit harder. So this gives them access and allows them to take part in this new renaissance of American inventiveness. And we’ve got to build these institutes all across the country -- all across the country. I don’t want it just here at Crosspointe, I want it everywhere. To do that, we need Congress to act. Hmm. It’s true. But that doesn’t mean we have to hold our breath. We’re not going to wait -- we’re going to go ahead on our own. Later this year, we’re going to choose the winner of a competition for a pilot institute for manufacturing innovation -- help them get started. With that pilot in place, we’ll keep on pushing Congress to do the right thing because this is the kind of approach that can succeed, but we’ve got to have this all across the country. I want everybody thinking about how are we making the best products; how are we harnessing the new ideas and making sure they’re located here in the United States. And sparking this network of innovation across the country – it will create jobs and it will keep America in the manufacturing game. Of course, there’s more we can do to seize this moment of opportunity to create new jobs and manufacturing here in America. We’ve got to do everything we can to encourage more companies to make the decision to invest in America and bring jobs back from overseas. And we’re starting to see companies do that. They’re starting to realize this is the place with the best workers, the best ideas, the best universities. This is the place to be. We've got to give them a little more encouragement. Right now, companies get tax breaks for moving jobs and profits overseas. Companies that choose to invest in America, they get hit with one of the highest tax rates in the world. Does that make any sense? It makes no sense. Everybody knows it. So it's time to stop rewarding businesses that ship jobs overseas; reward companies that create good jobs right here in the United States of America. That's how our tax code can work. That's how our tax code should work.
And let’s make sure all our workers have the skills that companies like this one are looking for -- because we've got to have folks engaged in lifelong learning. The days when you started out at 20 at one company and you just kept on doing the same thing for 40 years -- that's not going to happen anymore. So even if -- as I was meeting some of the folks here, they had been in the industry, they'd been machinists, they'd been in manufacturing for years. But they're constantly upgrading their skills and retraining. And some of them had been laid off and had gone back to school before they came to this company. And so we've got to make sure those opportunities for people mid-career and onward, that they can constantly go back to a community college and retool so that they can make sure they're qualified for the jobs of tomorrow. At a time when so many Americans are looking for work, no job opening should go unfilled just because people didn’t have an opportunity to get the training they needed. And that’s why I've asked Congress, join me in a national commitment to train 2 million Americans with the skills that will lead directly to a job -- right now. We need to create more partnerships like the one this plant has with John Tyler Community College. We should give more community colleges the resources they need. I want them to be community career centers -- places that teach people skills that companies are looking for right now, from data management to the kind of high-tech manufacturing that's being done at this facility. So day by day, we’re restoring this economy from crisis. But we can’t stop there. We've got to make this economy ready for tomorrow. Day by day, we’re creating new jobs, but we can’t stop there -- not until everybody who’s out there pounding the pavement, sending out their résumés has a chance to land one of those jobs.
See where I'm going, here?!? I fully intend to be--hopefully, with the exception of the 'FDR Depression'--as remembered as President Franklin Roosevelt. To that end, I've developed and initiated nearly as many 'alphabet agencies' as FDR did. The whole idea here is to grow the federal bureaucracy as quickly and as large as is possible given the distinct probability that I'll rule for only four years. With the proliferation of owe-bama 'alphabet agencies' there will be more and more control, more and more wealth re-distribution with fewer and fewer individual rights!! No one can doubt that I favor a college education for every graduating high school senior. What few understand is.... in most cases college is not necessary, in more-than-just-a-few cases, college is not the best choice for particular graduates. As Justin Case is fond of saying:
"More college graduates hire plumbers than plumbers who hire college graduates!"
Every day we’re producing more oil and gas than we have in years, but we can’t stop there. I want our businesses to lead the world in clean energy, too. We’ve got the best colleges and universities in the world, but we can’t stop there. I want to make sure more of our students can afford to go to those colleges and universities. Everybody knows we’ve got the best workers on Earth, but we can't stop there. We’ve got to make sure the middle class doesn’t just survive these times, we want them to thrive. We want them to dream big dreams and to feel confident about the future. I did not run for this office just to get back to where we were. I ran for this office to get us to where we need to be. And I promise you we will get there. Some of these challenges may take a year; some may take one term; some may take a decade -- but we're going to get there. Because when we work together, we know what we’re capable of. We’ve got the tools, we've got the know-how, we've got the toughness to overcome any obstacle. And when we come together and combine our creativity and our optimism and our willingness to work hard, and if we're harnessing our brainpower and our manpower, our horsepower, I promise you we will thrive again. We will get to where we need to go. And we will leave behind an economy that is built to last. We will make this another American century.
This on-going "oil-and-gas" kerfuffle nothing more than the socio-fascists whining-and-bitching about all the damage done to the environment, the ecology, the atmosphere. Hell, even the dumbest hill-billy in the country can understand that humans do not have the power to destroy any one or all of the aforementioned sectors of life on earth. The earth was 'engineered'--by some superior being--to be self-sustaining. Let's take the Gulf Oil Spill precipitated by the Deepwater Horizon as an example. At my behest, the national pamphleteer 'corpse' invested millions-of-dollars and thousands-of-hours in helicopter flights over the oil spill zones looking for the scum that accumulates on the water's surface. After the initial sightings, they became fewer and fewer. The regime kept the reason as quiet as possible for as long as possible, but it finally came to light. There's a type of algae that thrives on crude oil!! Who'da thunk it?!? There went our best defense for curtailing any drilling permits, deep water, shallow water or on land!!
The regime continues to prove--with each subsequent multi-million dollar gift--'green energy' in their current states, are unsustainable.
We give 'em money; they file for bankruptcy!!
'Green energy' within the auto industry is equally unsustainable. The Chevy Volt is selling so well that GM temporarily curtailed production for 6-8 weeks. Not only does the car not sell with a $7,500 federal bribe; the bribe will be increased to $10,000-maybe that will boost sales. Why buy a car with a range of 25-35 miles on electric motors when--with an additional 10-grand--you could be driving a Chevrolet Corvette!! We socio-fascists fully intend to drag America--kicking and screaming--back into the 'horse-and-buggy' era, albeit in style. What I mean by that is: Once the stratospheric fuel prices preclude buying vehicles with internal combustion engines--and with Volt-type vehicles--a day's travel will be taken back to that of farmers and their buggies.
My regime will continue to press socio-fascism as the American 'norm!' We used it during the recent presidential election with the New Black Panthers' Voter Intimidation Unit as well as the SEIU's "Purple People Beaters."

This'n'That; January Thirty-First #1; Engineering
LOGICAL 'Social' Engineering
The commie-libs among us have long depended upon social engineering to both placate and increase their voter base. The 'modern era' of commie-lib social engineering is generally associated with the "Slick-Willie" presidency; largely with their sham of reducing the welfareRAT rolls. The Clinton Administration along with the Newt Gingrich-led House, did little more than move the 'RATs from the welfare rolls to the SSI rolls-with the goal of the continuation and growth of 'dependency-class' Americans.
Now, fast-forward to the "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist" Regime. The regime's notion of 'social engineering' vastly outpaces the "Slick-Willie" concept. Not only does the "Clown" both continue and inhance the numbers of individual recipients of monetary benefits, he extends it to unsustainable--quasi-experimental--solar and wind energy production as well as payoffs to several of his 'favorite' politicians: Anyone remember the vote-buying payoffs involved with owe-bamaKare?!? Senator Mary Landreau ring a bell?!?
With "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, the Narcissist" building on his successes (of national destruction) by gutting the Defense Department, here comes my suggestion of LOGICAL social engineering:
With the lagging NON-recovery; with the problematic U-3 unemployment rate in the 8.5% range; with the more accurate, actual U-6 unemployment rate in the 23% range, actually consider the short, mid and long term effects of military "down-sizing" (reduction-in-force [RIF]) relative to the unemployment rates. Currently, approximately 80,000 military "souls" have--or are scheduled to have--their asses 'kicked-to-the-curb,' both the decision for the RIF as well as the numbers involved in said RIF should be relative to the current and projected U-3 and U-6 unemployment rates. A U-3 rate of 4.5% is considered full employment. Have the RIF figures be based on national full employment, example: if the fascists want to dis-employ 100,000 military "souls," they should do so at 4.5% unemployment; 85,000 at 5.0%; 70,000 at 5.5%; 55,000 at 6.0%; 40,000 at 6.5%; 25,000 at 7.0%; 10,000 at 7.5% and ZERO at 8.0% and above!!
Not only have the vast majority of said "souls" put their lives-on-the-line on a minute-by-minute basis, they are subjected to long tours of duty away from family and friends; subjected to international moves with minimal notice! Given these military "souls" do the work "most Americans won't do," do they deserve to be tossed out of a chosen career 'on their proverbial asses?!?' I think NOT!!!
Til Nex'Time....

"Clown Prince" Weekly Blather; January 28th
A Patriotic Response To The "Clown Prince;" 01/28/2012
barackingham Palace,
District of Corruption
January 28, 2011
On Tuesday, in my State of the Union Address, I laid out a blueprint for an economy built to last – an economy built on American manufacturing, American energy, skills for American workers, and a renewal of American values. This week, I took that blueprint across the country, and what I saw was people who work hard and believe in each other. They believe in the America that’s within our reach. But they’re not sure that the right thing will get done in Washington this year, or next year, or the year after that. And frankly, when you look at some of the things that go on in this town, who could blame them for being a little cynical?
Just two days ago, a senator from Utah promised to obstruct every single American I appoint to a judgeship or public service position – unless I fire the consumer watchdog I put in place to protect the American people from financial schemes or malpractice. For the most part, it’s not that this senator thinks these nominees are unqualified. In fact, all of the judicial nominees being blocked have bipartisan support. And almost 90 percent have unanimous support from the Judiciary Committee. Instead, one of his aides told reporters that the senator plans to, and I’m quoting here, “Delay and slow the process in order to get the President’s attention.” This isn’t about me. We weren’t sent here to wage perpetual political campaigns against each other. We were sent here to serve the American people. And they deserve better than gridlock and games. One senator gumming up the works for the whole country is certainly not what our founding fathers envisioned.
[What I'm not telling you: This 'blueprint for an economy to last' is nothing more than just so much blather; blather I'm ever more famous for. In this context, "an economy" is based entirely on the survival of our current representative republic; that, a pseudo-democracy. History tells us the longest-lasting democracies have succumbed in 250 years, or less!! This means--statistically--the United States has a mere 14 years left (2026) in it's current lifecycle. For this reason--among others, more self-serving--I'm doing what I'm told: transform the United States away from said pseudo-democracy.
My federally (read: taxpayer-thus illegal) funded campaign stops across the country this week, I could have chosen any topic to blather on about. I chose this one for the very reason of continuing the disguise of my 'jobs-killing' decisions as good for the country; good for the environment. I have--single-handedly--practically killed domestic energy exploration and production. Pandering to opposite sides of the "Keystone XL" pipeline project has left me in the untenable position of not satisfying either side; nor doing what's most beneficial to the American people. Rarely do owe-bamacRATics do "what's most beneficial to the American people," said party does what's best for the party, for the supporter, for the donor, et al. This "Keystone" kerfuffle seeks to pacifiy the labor and construction unions on the 'pro-construction' side; while the 'anti-construction' side appeases the environmentalist whackos. Thus, my decision--if one can call it that--placated my handlers in that it failed to allow 20,000 IMMEDIATE jobs as well as hundreds-of-thousands of FUTURE jobs!! This decision will go far in the 'timeline of demise' of the current form of government.
As I'm well known for, the current campaign season is developing into some form of warfare be it race, class, gender, economic or party!! When I appointed Richard Cordray, I appointed an individual that will eventually have control over every financial and economic decision ANY American makes. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is structured such that it can 'self-correct' it's path of over-reach into the citizen's financial life; taking more-and-more control over said decisions. Some members of the current 'class' of legislators have taken exception to this individual; such an exception that they intend to oppose every appointment, nomination I make. Check out this quote:
"This isn't about me."
There's never been a more false statement written by, for or about me!! This entire exploration into socio-fascism has been ENTIRELY about me!! From massaging my uncontrollable ego to the massive chip-on-my-shoulder to disguising my completely inept lack of experience; everything that happens in barackingham Palace is about me!!]
The truth is, neither party has been blameless in tactics like these. But it’s time for both parties to put an end to them. I’m asking Congress, both Democrats and Republicans, to stop this kind of behavior by passing a rule that allows all judicial and public service nominations a simple up-or-down vote within 90 days. We should also stem the corrosive influence of money in politics. The House and Senate should send me a bill that bans insider trading by Members of Congress, and I will sign it immediately. They should limit any elected official from owning stocks in industries they impact. And they should make sure people who bundle campaign contributions for Congress can’t lobby Congress, and vice versa. During my Address on Tuesday night, I spoke about the incredible example set by the men and women of our armed forces. At a time when too many of our institutions have let us down, they exceed all expectations. They’re not consumed with personal ambition. They don’t obsess over their differences. They focus on the mission at hand. They work together. If you agree with me that leaders in Washington should follow their example, then make your voice heard. Tell your Member of Congress that it’s time to end the gridlock, and start tackling the issues that really matter – an economy built on American manufacturing, American energy, American skills and education, and a return to American values. An economy built to last.
[What I'm not telling you:
"We should....stem the corrosive influence of money in politics."
Given my forecast of raising a billion-dollars for my re-immaculation campaign, where is the 'stemming' of any financial influence in the political arena?!? See, just more blather that must be adhered to by the public but will never apply to me or my regime!!
The 'example set by the men and women of our armed forces' is being handsomely rewarded by firing--laying off, if you prefer--80,000 brave, dedicated and faithful soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines at a time when we've massaged the unemployment numbers down to 8.2%. (Without massaging, the U-3 unemployment would be 11+%; the U-6--everyone unemployed--rate would be approaching 16%!!). This is how we reward said dedication, bravery and faithfullness?!? Casting these selfless warriors off into a society that can't help them support their families?!? Only in owe-bamanomics; only in socio-fascism!!!
Do you ever get sick of it?!? The way I whine about every little action that doesn't go my way?!? Now I'm choosing to whine about the Congress not adhering to my suggestions; the path toward ever more controlling socio-fascism!! I pretend to not understand how the Congress can not see the benefits to the country as a whole; so I whine-and-whine until I get the college kids; the welfareRATs; other socio-fascists, on board with my wants. Most of these followers have NEVER had an original thought; they look to rulers like me to fill their heads with 'oatmeal, like' suggestions, as well as 'pay them not to work!!'
To 'go-off-teleprompter, here: Did anyone see my interview with Diane Sawyer about Newt Gingrigh calling me 'the food-stamp president?!?' Let me quote:
"First of all, I don't put people on foodstamps. People become eligible for foodstamps. Second of all, the initial expansion of food-stamp eligibility happened under my republicRAT predecessor, not under me.
No 3, when you have a disastrous economic crash that results in 8 million people losing their jobs, more people are going to need more support from the government." ]
This is just another of my many excursions into presidential blather; I'm trying to once-again, "blame Bush!!" Here--with the use of the word 'initial'--I've managed to 'toss it off' to my predecessor, President Bush-43. While not the 'initial,' the greatest expansion in history came under my watch, by those concerned about my falling poll numbers. This expansion is being used as another method of buying support, buying votes, buying donations. While feeling the effects of the 'disastrous economic crash' began under President Bush-43, the groundwork was actually laid by "Slick-Willie" Clinton and his then-HUD Secretary, Andrew Cuomo. Their efforts to buy 'the black vote' led to relaxed mortgage requirements, resulting sub-prime mortgages to those who couldn't afford them and hand no intention of ever paying them back. So the entire economic crisis can be successfully lain at the feet of the owe-bamacRATic party!!

"Clown Prince" Weekly Blather; December 3rd
A Patriotic Response To The "Clown Prince;" 12/03/2011
barackingham Palace,
District of Corruption
December 3, 2011
This week, we learned that our economy added another 140,000 private sector jobs in November. Despite some strong headwinds this year, America’s economy has now created private sector jobs for the past 21 months in a row – almost three million new jobs in all, more than half a million of them in the past four months alone. We need to keep this growth going and strengthen it. That’s why we’ve been fighting to pass a series of jobs bills through Congress – bills that independent economists say will create more jobs and grow the economy even faster. Because now is the time to step on the gas, not slam on the brakes. Unfortunately, too many Republicans in Congress don’t seem to share that same sense of urgency. Over the last few months, they’ve said “no” to most of these jobs bills. “No” to putting teachers and firefighters back to work. “No” to putting construction workers back on the job. And this week, they actually said “no” to cutting taxes for middle-class families. You see, last year, both parties came together to cut payroll taxes for the typical middle-class family by about $1,000. But that tax cut is set to expire at the end of this month. If that happens, that same family will see its taxes go up by $1,000. We can’t let that happen. In fact, I think we should cut taxes on working families and small business owners even more. And we’re going to keep pushing Congress to make this happen. They shouldn’t go home for the holidays until they get this done. And if you agree with me, I could use your help.
[What I'm not telling you: Now that the unemployment rate has been reduced to 8.6%, it raises the question: how did an increase of a mere 140,000 jobs decrease the U-3 unemployment rate nearly one-half a percentage point? That's easy enough to answer!?! Statistically tweeking the available workforce numbers and the available number of jobs, numbers!! Nothing really changes. In those instances we need change, we 'manufacture' said change by fiddling with the numbers until they indicate what we want indicated!
The 'Party of No' is a regime created phrase designed to turn the many undecided "KoolAid drinkers' against the Congress; Congressmen of either party. It doesn't seem to be working! We had hoped for the phrase to create a tide of negative reaction toward the Congress; not so much! The voters--both paid and unpaid--seem to be judging my actions with independent thought; something unheard of in the past. Usually, as with voters--both dead and alive--in Chicago, the bought voter stays 'bought!' That $1,000 that I'm touting as the next savior of the serf class is nothing more than so-much hooey!! The referenced payroll tax cut extension will keep less than $19.25 per week in the workers' paychecks. In New York that's about two packs of cigarettes; anywhere else, it's a weekly meal-for-two in a cheap joint most of us wouldn't frequent!!
As most of you are now realizing, the American voter; the American taxpayer, the American citizen is seeing through most of the statistics that come out of the federal government, whether they come from the regime and the White House or from the allegedly non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO). Take for instance, the latest unemployment figures: how can the creation of 140,000 jobs drop the socially-acceptable U-3 unemployment rate nearly one-half percentage point to 8.6%?!? Forget all the White House blusterful blather, the true reason is that over 315,000 unemployed American workers have stopped looking for work!! To the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), that means they're no longer counted in the manipulation of the unemployment numbers. Anyone who stops looking for work is just dfr'd (dropped from the rolls), meaning they just 'fall off the face of the earth;' they no longer matter in the creation of the fictitous socially-accepted, regime-manipulated U-3 unemployment rate. If it wouldn't continue the downward-spiral of the regime's public persona, the U-6 total unemployment number should be used in all discussions; all legislative jobs proposals.]
We’ve set up a simple tax cut calculator on WhiteHouse.gov so that you can see exactly what the stakes are for your family. Try it out. Then let your members of Congress know where you stand. Tell them not to vote to raise taxes on working Americans during the holidays. Tell them to put country before party. Put money back in the pockets of working Americans. Pass these tax cuts. We’re all in this together. The more Americans succeed, the more America succeeds. And if we remember that and do what it takes to keep this economy growing and opportunity rising, then I’m confident that we’ll come out of this stronger than before.
[What I'm not telling you: Ta-Hell with the White House 'tax-cut calculator!!' That only tells the public what George Soros and the regime want them to know. Even on it's face, this calculator is little more than a propaganda tool. For a better look at the entire economy and how the fascists are continuing to destroy it, please go to http://www.usdebtclock.org/ for a far clearer picture of the economy. This 'debt clock' gives the viewer not only the federal financial statistics but also numbers on auto sales, energy output, precious metals, all manner of business statistics as well as those detailing federally mandated 'give-away' programs. Are you aware--for instance--that the total unfunded mandates are $166.7 TRILLION ?!? That equates to well over ONE-MILLION-DOLLARS PER TAXPAYER!?! How can any politician--let alone the incompetent boob in the White House--really believe that these numbers are even close to 'sustainable?!?']

This'n'That; September Twenty-Second #2; The Fed
AGAIN-Fed Displays Classic 'Insanity!'
The Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke is going ahead with continuation of his insane idea of 'Quantitative Easing,' as a result of the latest meeting of the Federal Open Market Committee. This time, Bernanke is buying more Treasury securities to reduce long-term interest rates. The net effect here will be:
Penalizing 'savers' who will suffer from the resultant falling interest rates.
Penalizing bond holders and other investors in fixed-rate securities.
Continue the rising inflation rates, at a faster rate.
Put more consumers into houses they cannot afford; have no inclination of paying for.
The Fed's mission--should they decide to accept it--is to control inflation and insure maximum employment; conversely, the lowest unemployment rate possible. Apparently, the Fed has decided NOT TO ACCEPT! Nearly everything done by The Federal Reserve; done by the current regime, has exacerbated both problems!
Let's have a look at how the various statistics are derived; how the various statistics are contrived to achieve the desired goal:
The 'official unemployment rate (U-3)' is those unemployed for four weeks. The rate is determined by the number of unemployed, divided by the number of jobs available.
The "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, The Narcissist" regime has used two types of 'adjustments' to achieve their politically-inspired results. The regime has--at least once--reduced the total labor force numbers to make the U-3 rate to appear to be improving.
The "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, The Narcissist" regime has--at least once--shifted an undetermined number of the unemployed from the U-3 category to the U-4, U-5 and/or U-6 categories, thus reducing the U-3 'official' rate.
Due to the blatant dishonesty and obfuscation by the "Clown Prince ZERO-bama, The Narcissist" regime, one would be advised to periodically check the Gallup organization's tracking of various statistics, providing a more honest; more believeable picture of the national economy. The regime would like you to believe the August, 2011 U-3 rate to be 9.1%; the U-6 rate to be 16.2% The Gallup people have found them to be 9.8% and 18.3%, respectively.
This regime, The Fed as well as members of Congress--politicial parties, aside--continue to feed the American people the government brand of pablum; anything that is more pleasing to the ear and eye, than is the actual situation!
Til Nex'Time....
